Melody whirled around, grinned, and offered a delighted, “Hello!” But no one appeared behind her, as the voice had said, to accept it. All that met her was laughter. She flicked her head this way and that.

“Hello,” she repeated, questioningly. Then came the breeze, startling her and leaving her with a chill, and she jumped after the warm air it carried without thinking. There was another sensation she couldn’t quite describe—like she had bothered someone and received a disgusted gaze—but it, too, whisked away too soon for her to begin to parse.

“Roar-ni…spi-gorie…uh. So, you will tell me?” she said, perching comfortably again. “It’s so certain that it’s written, all the way up there? Wow!”

 Good , the fly-beast followed . The pixie moved once again , twirling with her a small wind to tempt Melody towards the tree’s trunk . Honey and sap made a trap that Melody would stick in , far beneath an old , rotting beehive .

 ‎󠀠󠀠❛ yes , wow .. all—llways wanting ♪ creat-ur-errs like us , like grevillea in the shadow of a mountain . ❜

Perhaps the pixie would barter with a tarantula for some silk . It would really be the fly’s own fault , wouldn’t it ? Spinifer hadn't raised a finger . She fought to really believe it , her spirit spitting with shame .

She couldn't help but raise a brow in response and glance towards the little pixie. "...I'm not wearing make-up though." Contrary to what might think, Spectra's lips were actually naturally purple. Compared to other monsters Spectra's interest in such activities was quite minimal.

"Besides, if I did look sick then wouldn't that motivate them even more to flee from me? That means they're afraid." The ghoul took a moment to playfully stick out her tongue. Hah. Better luck next time.

 The pixie mirrored Spectra’s raised brow with a head-waggle . She tensed up ,  ‎󠀠󠀠❛ .. how — now how was I supposed to know ?? don’t your colleagues participate ? roaming around with paints on their faces ?? ❜

She hated being beat . She blew a raspberry back , striving not to let her embarrassment reveal in a smile .  ‎󠀠󠀠❛ .. you know i’m teasing . your features are rich as pepperberry . in a deathly way , how you like it , so .. lucky you .. ❜

 ‎󠀠󠀠𝓘f the wisp were tangible she’d be red with embarrassment . Her aura warmed with the emotion as she tried to divert from her hasty comment .

❛ why are you downcast ? have need of something .. mmsay , no food ? ❜ The wisp figured she could use the chance to get a location — to find a lick of delicious human-made banquet . She directed a breeze as she went by the woman’s face , chuckling to lighten the tone .

❛ mhm .. perhaps they are punishing your make-up resembling someone with a flustering flu . ❜ Complete hypocrisy for the pixie to say , with her own mangled fur & crooked antenna . She peered back , hoping to see if she was capable of wounding Spectra's pride .
