Clara: It is going really well, you know working, making connections. Things are going well with Reese and I too. How are you?

Benji: Oh that's cool!

Benji: That's great and you know, Im doing good. Kinda been hitting the books a bit too hard? Tired and ran into Ivy, the other day.

I’m Jewish and it’s October, but damn I’m excited for Christmas. Santa better get me that inflatable chair I’ve always wanted. Twenty-three years of disappointment and counting.

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and Im hoping I’ll be getting a PS4. I didn’t even know that they still made those. Cameron, you’re a genius.

JACK: Really, Mike Chang thinks Rachel St. James is scarier than Kitty Wilde? I can see it, but it's a tight competition.

JACK: Oh. $100?

BENJI: Mike Chang's not afraid of Rachel St. James, but its a long history. Ish. I don't know the entire thing, alright?

BENJI: No, no, I'll take that $150. I just realize that it basically costs that to get a plate of food.

BENJI: I can handle your mom and so can my dad, but apparently cam's mom scares my dad? Idk, I could be wrong.

BENJI: I would text Cam, but that family kinda scares me.

Im sorry for the kink-shaming you, I really am. I think he did that for you to be turned on, besides. He’s starting to look like his brother and I prefer him, honestly. I also kind of prefer to have the person I’m sleeping with, to have their eyes forward and not in two different directions.

“Does anyone feel like something big is going to go down or am I just imaginging it?” Benji asked as he looked around from his place at the bar and tapped against his leg a bit. “Probably imaging it, anyway. How’s your night going?”

“Thank goodness, I don’t think I could stand being alone for one more moment.” God, it was impossible not to smile around him. She had to nibble on her bottom lip to try to tone down her grin. But she was glad to melt into the kiss, not wanting it to end. But Ivy couldn’t help but let a giggle escape her at his words, “The most?” She asked softly as she let her nose nudge against his. Affection was something she was never shy with. She loved Benji and there was no way she would ever hide it no matter how big the crowd. “Tempting, baby…so tempting. But maybe closer to the end of the evening. We don’t want to miss anything important.” 

“That’s good, Im glad to hear that beautiful lady,” Benji said. He couldnt help but grin when he heard her giggle, twirled her hair some with one of his fingers and brushed his nose against hers.”Mhm, the most.” He listened to her, glanced around and glanced down at her. “Im sure what we’re going to be missing is, awkward tension between Saskia, Cameron and Miles and Maddox is already drunk. So I feel like we might not be missing anything. Besides, I haven’t seen the St.James’ in a hot minute but I get where you’re coming from.”

Jack considered Benji’s suggestion, nodding a little. “You’re not wrong. Sneaking a cupcake in there will only lead to the kind of shenanigans that are only funny in hindsight. Any particular recommendations from a man of such thought and wisdom?” Jack smiled, chuckling a little. “That would mean relying on my brother to do something useful, and most of my fear is him being the cause of shenanigans. He’s already on his second strike from Andy.”

Benji nodded. “Unless you want a surprise when you slip the ring onto Saskia’s finger.” He pointed out before he tossed some nuts into his mouth and chewed as he listened to the boy a little bit more. “Nuts, dried fruit, maybe something that won’t spoil?” He swallowed what he had in his mouth before he answered. “Well, if you want, I can always get a bag together for you and hand it off to the Maid of Honor?”

“Im too busy to try to believe the reason why Charlie won’t dance with your sister, but last time I checked? Not really.”

charlie’s lips quirked up in a grin, “i need to do some practicin’ before i head off and try to impress my girlfriend, dude.” he took a bite of his quiche, chewing thoughtfully. “i’m shit at dancing—i mean, dancin’ alone, i’m fine with, ‘cause i wouldn’t have to drag anybody down with me. literally and figuratively.”

“Im sure Maddox is used to your dancing by now and plus, its slow dancing. It ain’t hard. Want me to show you? Besides, how long have you two been together?” Benji suggested and took a small bite out of his food. “You’re really using that as an excuse on not to dance with her?” He looked at guy. “Man, get over it.”

charliehummelson‌:

finally able to use the bathroom, charlie was a refreshed and renewed man. he was a little bummed when he realised that everybody was slow dancing instead of dancing to the cupid shuffle—gaze quickly sweeping across the room, charlie perks up upon spotting a familiar face.

grabbing a mini quiche that the waiter had hastily offered, charlie moves over to the other, slipping in the vacant seat beside them. “wanna dance after i finish this quiche?” he makes a face, shaking his head. “or maybe when they start playing a livelier song?”

Benji was busy eating his food when he heard Charlie’s voice, reached to grab his water and took a sip before he could answer the boy. "Or Im sure someone else wants to dance with you.” Benji suggested as he looked at Charlie, with a knowing look. “Also, what’s wrong with slow songs?”

When his arms moved around her waist, she let her hands rest on his arms. “I did. He is tall, handsome, charming….looks amazing in a suit. Have you seen him?” She teased as her arms moved up slowly to rest on his shoulders. Her charming smile softening at his words then when he kissed her forehead. A hum left her lips, shaking her head. “No, I’m good I just needed to be in the arms of the most handsome man. But…there is something else that would be the icing on the cake.” She moved up just slight on her heels so she could steal a kiss from him. 

Benji hummed as he scanned the area, tapped against her hips as he continued to look before he glanced down at her. “Naw, I haven’t but that’s alright. I’ll keep you company until he comes back.” He sent her a wink and listened to her. He nodded, raised an eyebrow and bent down slightly as he returned the kiss. “Hmm, that has to be the most delicious frosting, I’ve ever had.” He murmured as he rubbed her hips. “Makes me want to skip out on this and find a private room for the two of us.” He smirked, knowing that they might get some backlash from Saskia.
