Reactions all around - Self-Para
When there was screaming and people running around, Anastasia didn’t know what to do. Her first thought was to look for Hunter, Cade, and hell, even Caspian. She never had experienced this before. But there was too much noise, too much movement for her to find anyone. She felt a gut feeling inside of her. Something wasn’t right, and it wasn’t just the screaming. It felt like something was definitely getting away from her. Almost like a pull.
People were getting pushed back into the ballroom, but she was pushing herself out. She needed this feeling to go away. To reassure her that there wasn’t something missing. She made her way to where people were getting pushed from. The walk down the hallway made the feeling get worse. It was almost like she couldn’t breathe. Her lungs heavy as her feet moved closer and closer.
There were people telling her to move away. She couldn’t even hear them. It was like a magnetic pull. No, something wasn’t right. When she looked into the room, she noticed a blonde. She let go of the breath she was holding. She didn’t know the other. But then her eyes wondered to a second body. An all too familiar one. “No..” She softly said as tear prickled her eyes. “No...no no..” She wanted to move closer to inspect it herself. It was a joke. It had to be a joke.
She couldn’t hear anything else. Her mind was filling with confusion and heartbreak. Caspian couldn’t be dead. He was unkillable. She felt arms taking her away. She couldn’t even fight it because she felt her legs get weak. Her hand almost reaching out. She needed him. He was her only sort of family. “Caspian!” She cried out as she started to fight against the arms that were pulling her away. “Stop it!” She tried to wiggle out of their grip, but there was too much emotions moving through her. “Stop it! No!” She screamed. Anastasia felt a burst of emotion as she was shoved into the ballroom. Before she knew it the ground slightly shook around her as did the walls when she screamed out. The lights popping all around as glass shattered. She didn't seem to care who was around her. She fell to her knees and cried into her hands. She had no one now.
