Steve makes the same face for every time he realises Danny is ranting/cranky because he is worried about Steve. No matter how many times it happens it seems to take him by surprise. A year later 'still cares?' another year 'still cares?' two years later 'still? just checking but it's nice. Love you too'.

No one has ever cared about his safety and his life so consistently, it's still a wonder to him that Danny, his favourite person in the world, gives a shit about him. Especially since he doesn't put much value on his own life himself.

Danny cares, he cares So LOUDLY he would yell self-preservation into Steve if he could. Sadly due to his abandonment issues Steve doesn't have object permanence when it comes to his loved ones loving him in return so he makes a face of a slack-jawed surprise completed with a barely contained smile of delight and fondness because his crush shows signs of caring about him.

Just asking for a friend... Would it be pretentious to post two versions of the same story?

My "friend" has this dialogue that's pretty cool but she feels that it could do with some padding, i.e. non-dialogue stuff to make it more of a story. But at the same time, hopefully the talking itself is enough to paint a picture.

OK. I'm my "friend". I lead a very sad life... 😆

Wouldn't it have been cool if I were asking advice for my mortal enemy, though? Now that's a post I'd be following!

My Hawaii Five-0 supplier is withdrawing it's goods and I'm rewatching as much as possible.

That episode where Delano orchestrated Wo Fat's prisonbreak by getting a helicopter to PICK UP and DROP his transport in the freaking ocean? Why don't we talk about that more? I had to get up and walk around because it was too late at night to laugh out loud like a loon!

Also, Doris? Man, gonna read every fic that includes that woman just to see if you guys let poor Steve come to terms with that whole thing.

And has Steve always been that ace-coded? Sure, he's all over Catherine, but it doesn't really seem genuine. Or maybe he's not ace, maybe he's just head over heels infatuated with his Danno. Hard to tell. Gonna have to watch them some more.
