i can not stress how important it is that we maintain tumblr’s reputation as the birthplace of overbearing SJWs because if the right wing “my free speech is being threatened by twitter’s terms of service” crowd ever finds out about what a fucking lawless wasteland this website actually is and decide to take advantage we will never get rid of them

keep being weird where redditors can see you and repost screenshots making fun of you. the balance of our ecosystem needs it. godspeed

Hey!! I've been absent all summer, time for me to shamelessly revive this blog by plugging my latest release! I mean, that's kind of the point of this blog anyway. So I've been sitting on these songs for a very long time. At first they were just songs that I had played myself with my guitar and my so-bad-it's-bad voice. Eventually, I had the idea to "chiptuneify" a couple of them and it worked out amazing! I've basically never been so happy with how something I've made turned out. Then there was the Safe and Sound cover which I was originally going to do with a friend, which also came out tremendously. And then I did a last-minute gameboy rendition of my song "Birthday" which was originally a solo acoustic song I had on my soundcloud. That one I over-hauled with LSDJ, the rest are just generated with plain-ole MIDI running through my gameboy. So even most of this work was done a long while ago, and I've been sitting on this demo for a while not sure what to do with it. I shared it with a couple people with overwhelmingly positive support, but still, it somehow wasn't ready for me. This lead to a huge writer's block and inability to work on anything else! So finally it came to the point where I was heading back to college in a couple days and I wouldn't be bringing my computer with me, and I realized I had still never "finished" this demo. So I quickly did some last-minute tweaks and decided to post on bandcamp. And so far the reception has been unexpected yet wonderful! In fact, there may be CDs being run for it soon, so be on the lookout. There is more music from this bandcamp account in the future. Until then, please enjoy this and share with anyone who you think would be into it!
