I worked in a pharmacy for a few years. Not sure if it was just us, but we would pop out the pills and put them in a bottle for people who would be in pain doing that or just couldn't. Its worth asking!

Another common thing was just calling their doctor about changing to a med that doesn't come in a pack. Or in some cases one that did.

If they're anything like we were, they WILL complain about the extra work to each other but don't feel bad if you hear it. We actually never minded and were mad it was something both you and us even had to do because who puts arthritis pills in packs and who prescribes that WHY?!
