2017, May flyer for ‘Sunday Soul Shots’
A 2017 logo I have designed for 'The Wheels of Steel', a local Fremantle DJ group. I made this as streamlined as I could utilizing the mod target roundel, their scooter/turntable symbol I designed last year and simple text.
My first poster design for the New Year.
A magical mystery tour. Well actually my train journey to Fremantle this morning. On the Midland line, Guilford Station. Nice one.
“My love for you has no strings attached. I love you for free.” Tom Robbins
Final logo design chosen for ‘The Wheels of Steel’. The local Fremantle, scooter, soul, ska scene.
Inverted Dreams.
Digital art, too much fun.
Fantasy in, reality out!
I need my mojo back.
Playing with the boomerang app and my kaleidoscope wand.
In my twenties I changed my middle name to Kalos, Latin for beautiful and used to make up the word kaleidoscope.
Kalos, a symbol of beautiful patterns.
Playing with photoshop, about to make friends with illustrator.
A logo idea for ‘The Wheels of Steel’.
The local Fremantle, scooter, soul, ska scene.

I never promised you a pizza garden
My first design for the online marketplace, Redbubble.
I had an original vintage 1970’s heat transfer scanned.
I have digitally altered the image to make it look like the top of a soda bottle.
Hallucinogens meet pop culture.
I think this is going to be addictive, digital designing that is not peyote 😉
Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2016.
Elyssa Sykes Smith, The Break Wall.
A pleasant Friday afternoon was shared, viewing the sculptures along the picture perfect Western Australian coastline.
The image on the left represents the artist’s sculpture, a translation of how it feels to be in a body. An expressive, abstract form to suggest embodied human experience.
The image to the right, which was situated directly next to the sculpture, is left over material used for the construction.
But what is art?
Confusion entailed amongst the busy, happy snapping crowd.

Creative license to the owner of a sculpture piece I created a couple of years back. Sol palliette, sequins on wood. Hanging above a hookah, nice one.
