Bernard Perroud. Welcomed intrusion.
Terracotta figure of a naked woman holding up her hands in front of her and slightly to both sides, palms up, her elbows tucked in by her sides. Her hair is drawn back and bound in a ribbon and she wears large earrings. Painted on her body are a necklace and flowers, perhaps representing tattoos. These tattoos may indicate that she is a foreign slave, perhaps a Thracian. The woman may be an elderly hetaira.
