thinking about Hera in those 6 months between seasons 2 and 3. She's 25 and fighting a war and her blinded husband is pulling away from everyone and everything and his bond with their son is splintering and Ezra is always so angry and she sends her kids out into battle over and over and she doesn't have the answers and she needs to keep going and her team is not what it was and will never be quite like it was ever again

#i think it comes partially from the theory that 'the force needs balance and the jedi threw it out of balance by killing all the sith #so the clone wars and the jedi purge are a return to balance' theory #when ive heard the whole balance in the force thing jedi v sith described as like...#the sith are intrinsically out of balance because they are using the force to dominate and control and they are using their power #to control the force. vs the jedi seeking to work with the force in balance with it etc etc #i have my own headcanons about the nature of the force as a force of nature without like any sapience that is just a march towards balance #but yea i think people are critiquing the jedi [rightfully so] to the point of thinking the sith are right #when its that. the sith are Horrible Evil Fascists and the jedi are a kinda corrupt religious organization that got into politics but are #overall well meaning
