For Traitor: neck retraction exercise. While lying in bed with your head flat against the mattress, give yourself the biggest double chin you can. Repeat 10 times.

For Jackass: stop hiking your shoulders up to your ears. This is pretty much a stress thing, it’s human instinct to protect our neck when we’re under stress so that predators can’t get at it. Easiest way to do that is be elevating the shoulders, so. Periodically take not of where your shoulders are at.

Absolute Fuckwaffle: stretch out your chest. The rhomboids on the back work to keep our shoulder blades back, so when we’re hunched forward they are constantly straining to do their job. Unfortunately it’s not as simple as telling you to stand up straight, since our pectorals get chronically tight and prevent us from doing so. Step one: pectoral stretches. Hold for at least 20 seconds.

Asshole: Superman exercises. Like the rhomboids, the ESGs are straining against the slump. Stretching the chest will help them, too, but then you e got to strengthen your back. Do 20 of those per day.

Voltron Mer May Thulaz

Getting hauled up onto a ship in a net wasn’t fun. Neither was being restrained while humans poked and prodded at you. Ulaz hissed at them his ears flat against his skull a growl building in his throat.  He wanted to be back in the water with his mate who he could hear calling anxiously down below in the waves. 

     Thace was not happy with being unable to see his mate.

“Hmm this one is a good healthy size for an adult. His coloring suggests he may have ancestry from a different subspecies of Galra. Can’t tell for sure which subspecies without a blood test which needs to be done anyways. Eyes, ears, mouth nose all look healthy.” The man with the funny lookign orange mustache comments as he examines Ulaz. 

“Uhh are you sure you should be putting your fingers in his mouth when he is showing signs of aggression?” A big round human with darker coloring asks nervously from where he was operating the pulley system that hauled the net out of the water.

“This? This is nothing he’s just cranky being out of the water why in my day there were far more aggressive creatures to deal with then a upset Galra mer. In fact one time I even...” 

“Coran focus so we can release him back into the ocean quickly.” A man with a white tuff of hair in the front of his short black head of hair interjected before the strange orange man could go off on another tangent. 

“Yes, yes, you’re right Shiro we need to focus.” Coran returns to his exam of the galra being careful not to hurt him as he took samples he needed, a small scrape of skin and a bit of fur, a loose scale and a swab of the inside of his mouth. The last sample collected was a blood sample it took holding him done to get it one holding his torso down and another holding his tail still.

“There we should be just about finished we have all the measurements and samples needed all that is left is to tag him and release him.” Coran exclaims brightly backing away to store the vile of blood taken..

A tall lanky dark male walked up to Ulaz’s side looking him over with a puzzled expression on his face as another shorter male human came up on his other side getting ready to lift him over the side of the ship. “There all tagged.” A small female announces as a little sting of pain went through a spot on the rear of his tail, making him slap his tail fin on the table to show his displeasure. 

“Is it just me or does his tail and belly seem swollen to you?” The lanky human in blue asks while the short human in red rolls his eyes.

“It’s just you Lance now come on lets get this guy back into the water.” He growls moving to Get his arms around the mer from the top by his head. “No seriously Keith his tail looks more swollen in the front then the other mer we’ve encountered.” Lance argues moving to pick up Ulaz’s tail to help carry him.

“You know I hate to say it but I think Lance is right his tail does looks swollen.” A long white haired female murmurs examining that area more closely. 

“Hmmm Quiznak Allura you may be on to something!” Coran gently started to almost massage his tail gently as he ran his hands along his upper tail and lower abdomen.  

“Hey I was the one who noticed!!” Protests Lance crossing his arms with a pout.

“Why I do believe this guy may be one of the subspecies that allows males to carry young!!” He declares stepping away to pull on some gloves. “Wait you mean he’s pregnant!!” The big round human squeals stars in his eyes at the thought of baby galra. 

“Yes Hunk it means he is most likely expecting either eggs or live young depending on his species. Pidge can you get another round of the vitamins we give every galra we encounter? He’ll need them.” Shiro turned his attention to the small female who nodded and dashed off. 

Coran had by then checked the galra’s brooding pouch carefully as he tried to determine how many young there were. Hunk looked green just watching the sight leaning over the railing to throw up. 

Thace let out a displeased hiss at the human who nearly threw up on him. 

“He has two eggs good size ones too. They will most likely be laid within the next several weeks where he will find a safe place to nest till they hatch. His mate down their will keep him safe from predators during that time.” Coran explains administering the extra rounds of vitamins before using a device to input more data into the chip they tagged him with. 

Ulaz who had dozed off slightly from the pressure Shiro was putting on his neck glands that did numerous things depending on how they were approached. 

Steady pressure made him limp and drowsy while a bite basically made him horny. Thace loved to bite his glands. Ulaz loved Thace biting his glands. 

“Okay he is all set now. Gently lower him back into the water if you will.” Coran stepped back to let Keith and Lance lift the Galra up and carried him to the back of the ship where Shiro extended a platform out just under the water for the galra to be placed on.

A minute later after all the humans had backed off did Ulaz roll himself off the platform and into the waiting arms of his mate.

Ulaz nuzzled happily against his mate with a purr as they sank back into the water moving away from the ship. 

The brightly painted name of the ship glared brightly even from under the water. Ulaz had the feeling they would be seeing a lot more of the humans on board of the ship called Voltron. At least they hadn’t hurt him like the last ship The Empire had tried.

-Two basic types of this species one group called Kangas and the other called Roos. 

                -Kangas tend to be taller then Roos. 

                -Kangas also have darker coloring compared to Roos. 

                - Third rarer type of Macropuses called Rufus inbetween height between Kangas and Roos and a medium color between the two others. 

- Are marsupials all of them are. All Macropuses have pouches on their stomach to carry their young in. 

- Get around by hopping and walking both. Can hop great distances to move faster to get away faster but can walk in a more normal manner moving each leg individually while upright. 

              - Developed this way of moving due to ancient enemy that hunted them called Sapiens. 

                            - Sapiens could move and run upright with long strides due to long legs. 

                             - Were sprinters could run in bursts before having to rest.

- Sapiens dwindled down in numbers as Macropuses evolved to be able to hop using huge feet and strong legs.

{ Macropods young are born very small so their pregnancies do not last long allowing them to not be weighed down. slowed down or vulnerable for long. Their young are placed in their pouch which is very sturdy and can fit two Wallaroos or babies.

{ Macropods developed a hinged foot that allows them to walk upright comfortably and hop around. The hinged joint is just beyond the toes and rotates the back part of the foot up or down depending on the mode of transportation. (Think of the joint like a wrist but has a locking feature to it that undoes when the joint is needed.) The joint allows the foot to be completely flat like how it is on a earth kangaroo in order to hop great distances. But the joint can also allow the back part of the foot to swing up at an angle so they can walk easier crossing shorter distances. (Think of the hind feet on a cat.) 

{ They have long tails with thick muscles that they use to balance as they hop and when they have to lift a leg or balance on their toes. (They can lift their legs individually or together.)

{ They have long arms with sharp claws on the ends of their four fingers. Their arms help them digs with shovel like paws that cut through tough compacted hard dirt to access prey buried in the ground.

- A Macropus usually give birth to one to two Wallaroos at a time.

                     - They can have one to two Wallaroos roaming outside the pouch who are juveniles too big for the pouch and one to two wallaroos in the pouch with another pregnancy happening. 

- Can carry babies too big for the pouch on their back. The babies cling to them as they move. 

- Have short narrow muzzles with long tongues. 

- Eat a mix of insects, plants and crustaceans. 

- Live mainly in plains, dry flat areas but do migrate towards the sea for a huge wave of crustaceans that come out of the sea every year.

With the increase of alien characters in season 3, we are getting away from this being purely the Altean language. Unfortunately, there’s no real way of knowing what is and isn’t considered “altean”, so I’m just going to continue to use “Altean Language” as the tag.

Allura didn’t seem to know that Lotor was half Altean. Coupled with the memory scene with Haggar, it is implied that Lotor was born sometime after Haggar and Zarkon became corrupted. He is likely younger than Allura.

Bodyguard AU idea

So I have read so many bodyguard au ’s where Lance is the crown prince or Allura’s brother second in line and he gets Keith as a bodyguard and they fall in love but what if Lance was the youngest son from a big family with plenty of older siblings in line for the throne ahead of him and his eldest brother has an arranged political marriage arranged to another kingdoms princess Lance is seen as the care free goofball of a Seventh Prince no arranged marriage no royal duties as serious or pressing as his older siblings have. All he has to do is behave and look nice and either keep his mouth shut or be polite and do as he is told. Keith was trained by Thace the caption of the guard and was the top of his class trained to serve the royal family as a bodyguard his friend and mentor Shiro serves the kind already as a bodyguard and now it’s Keith’s turn. But the King doesn’t assign him to the crown prince as he had thought he would or the eldest princess or any of the older princes or princesses no he is assigned to be the bodyguard of the youngest prince, Prince Lance. Keith is resentful of this feeling like they are underestimating him and his abilities. At first he believes everything that is said about the youngest prince till he finds him hanging out in the kitchen with the newest royal chef, Hunk and the newest scientific inventor and astronomer in the castle, Katie or Pidge as she goes by. Lance was the one to help get them their positions in the castle introducing them to the right people and convincing them to be given a chance to show what they are capable of. Lance made friends with people easily and was well liked by lower staff who he treated as equals. Lance often snuck out of the castle and got to know the people of the kingdom. He knew best of the problems they suffered from their point of view and found ways for those problems to be brought up to his father without his father knowing it was him. He made friends with the people of his kingdom people of all classes. Keith sees this and realizes that Lance is more of a Prince to his people then his older siblings are. Keith slowly stops resenting his positions beside the prince and begins to fall in love with him.

ATTENTION COSPLAYERS:

I would like to make the paint brand “Angelus” known. It is a special paint that is for leather, faux leather, rubber, and similar surfaces.

This is literally the best paint you can buy if you love a pair of shoes, but they aren’t in the right color for your character.

This stuff coats VERY well AND the coats of paint bend with your shoes. This means no cracking!!

In the photos above I took black rain boots and painted them with Angelus Turquoise. As you can see, they don’t look black any more! It’s so good!

I managed to paint two boots with a little one ounce bottle of the paint, and I still have a third of the bottle left over!

The paint dries very fast, so you can put layer on top of layer on top of layer without it streaking.

You can get the paint on Amazon and it comes in every color!

Rating: G Pairings: Gen ; Kolivan&Lotor, Keith&Lotor Tags: Dads of Marmora, BoM Raised Lotor  Summary: Lotor didn’t know where his caretakers had gone, nor did he know why they hadn’t tried to find him. All he knew was that he was alone on this ship, hiding in the shadows of crates as the emergency lights blink on and off. And then, he gets found by someone who is very surprised to find a cub hiding away in a storage closet. Word Count: 5722 Verse: BoM Raised Lotor AU

This is my gift for @nyucean for the @lotorspringexchange!! You said you wanted BoM Lotor and Lotor getting hugs, so I tried to do both :3

When the alarm had first sounded, Lotor had hidden himself immediately, squeezing into the smallest place he could find amongst the boxes and crates. He hadn’t known what was going on, or what had caused the alarms to go off. By the time the alarms had stopped, nobody had found him. Were they even looking for him?

Red light pulsed on and off every other tick or so—on and off, on and off—casting shadows around the storage room. Otherwise, it was as dimly lit as it had been when Lotor had originally come in here to escape his caretakers for a couple of doboshes. Lotor tried to stay calm, even as tears pricked in the corners of his eyes and a choked sob threatened to leave him. He wanted to go home, even if he wasn’t entirely sure where home was.

He didn’t know how long he had been hiding, or how long the alarms had been going off for before they had abruptly quieted. However, he couldn’t hear anyone outside the storage room anymore. Normally, when he was hiding, he could at least hear the sound of metallic boots hitting the floor as sentries made their rounds, or the faint, telltale whisper of fabric that indicated his caretakers had found his hiding spot. No more than a tick after he heard the sound, one of them would always materialize in front of him in a puff of black smoke. But now, the only sounds he heard were the low, creaking groan of the ship’s hull and his own soft breathing.

When the door to the room did open, Lotor let out a high-pitched squeak in surprise, ducking back into his hiding place.

“Hello?”

At the sound of the voice, Lotor froze in place, feeling his heart leap into his throat. The voice was augmented, metallic sounding—almost like the voices of Lotor’s caretakers, only higher pitched. While Lotor didn’t think this new voice belong to one of them, it certainly didn’t belong to a sentry. Soldiers were rare on this ship, though, and Lotor couldn’t remember seeing one recently, so who…?

“Is anyone here?” the voice asked again.
