Here, a perfectly friendly atmosphere, excellent senior-junior, teacher-student compatibility. The very special thing is that the institution is a ragging-free campus. RCET, which is the best engineering college in the Kanyakumari district had an Anti-ragging cell. And it was very effective. Also, the college offers special attention to other state students. 

From my experience as a student in the Thermal Engineering Department, the dept has a well-equipped lab facility for ensuring quality practical knowledge for the students. I studied at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, the top engineering college of Nagercoil 2021. I chose this course because that is what my rank allowed. Mechanical engineering is a relatively lightweight course as compared to others, and this provides ample time for other activities. Faculties of RCET, the top engineering college of  Nagercoil 2021 are highly qualified and experienced, with most of them having done their post-graduation and PhD from prestigious institutions abroad.

Mega Job Fair conducted by the Tamil Nadu Women’s development corporation and Tamilnadu District Development Board in Rohini College of Engineering & Technology on January 20, 2018. The job fair was conducted for all fresh & experienced candidates in Kanyakumari district. More than 40 main and big private companies participated in this mega job fair, planned to recruit 1500 personnel, according to Deputy Collector.

In our college the National Science day was celebrated in two sessions with the theme “Science for the People and People for Science”. In the first session, Quiz program, Essay Competition, Speech Competition & Debates was conducted for the students to realize where they stood in the knowledge of Science and Technology and the second session began with the Tamilthai vazhthu. College Chairman Shri. K. Neela Marthandam, Vice Chairman Dr. N. Mohan Neela Judith, Managing Director Dr. N. Neela Vishnu, Pricipal Dr. R Rajesh, Heads of Various Departments and Chief Guest Prof. R. Selva Nathan, Head, Department of Physics, Vivekanada College, Kanyakumari graced the occasion.

To mark the divine presence the traditional lamp was lit by the dignitaries. Prof. Vetrivel gave an introduction about National Science Day and led the program and welcomed the gathering. Our Principal Dr. R Rajesh delivered the presidential address. He inspired the students with his informative talk, which included the India’s achievements in Science. Then the chief guest Prof. R.Selva Nathan, Head, Department of Physics, Vivekanada College, Kanyakumari addressed the gathering. He enriched the students in various factors. He motivated them to work hard until their signature becomes as an autograph and to become a successful person in life just like the scientist of Indian Nation. He also emphasized the importance of Science in Human Life and gracefully insisted the students to apply the science in our daily life to lead a happy life. The guest was honored for his thought provoking speech and words.

Moreover, The prizes were distributed by the Principal and Chief Guest, The Management, Principal, the Head of the departments appreciated the event coordinator and congratulated the winners and the effort taken to urge the students to contribute to nation building through innovations in Science. Vote of thanks was delivered and the celebration ended with the National Anthem.

Each age group in society has its own role and this is important in many different ways. Youth as a description of a sector of society has many definitions depending on the perspective being used. For the purposes of this discussion youth will be considered to be the stage of life involving transition into adulthood: approximately age 18 to 25. Young people are often considered to represent the future as they bring new ideas and energy to add to the pool of knowledge that currently exists. They can bring enthusiasm and vitality which can lead to new discoveries and developments that can benefit society or even the world at large. Considering this in mind Rotaract Club of Rohini organized a seminar on “Youngster’s Contribution in the Society Today”. The event started with the presence of Dignities of Rohini and honourable Chief Guest Mr. John R.D Santhosham, B.A, B.L, District Judge, Mahila court Chairman, Permanent Lok Adalat, Nagercoil. The seminar was started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu and lighting lamp. Mr. Naveen prabhakar, student of final year EEE gave the Welcome Address. ​Next to that respected Principal gave the Presidential Address. He stated that “Young people are the one having key to engender change” and he added Youth are the hope of tomorrow. They are one of the most energetic segments of the nation and thus there are high hopes from them. After Principal Speech our honourable Chief Guest Mr. John R.D Santhosham began his speech by highlighting the current scenario of Society. He also stated that there are several factors that push the younger generation to commit crime such as Lack of Education, Unemployment, Power Play, General Dissatisfaction towards life and Growing Competition. With the advancement in technology that has led to the advent of various gadgets, the lifestyle and overall attitude towards life has changed, although the youth has the power to make a nation. Finally he concluded with proper guiding of young minds we can make a responsible youth. If the youth of a country are educated and willing to go the extra mile to effect positive change, miracles can happen. It was very much useful to the students and the staff. Ms. Rama lakshmi, department of ECE proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was ended with National Anthem. The seminar was well organized by convenor Dr. N. Senthil Vel Murugan, The Head of Rotaract club, RCET.
