I saw someone trying to defend Denethor, saying he wasn't as bad in the books... But he still told Faramir, he wished he had died???? He still tried to kill Faramir???? He's still in the wrong even if he was corrupted by the palantír. Like Boromir was still in the wrong to try to take the Ring from Frodo, but even then he didn't' actually try to kill him, you can't compare him to Denethor trying to kill his own son???

On a similar note, Háma getting fired from being a door warden because he didn't confiscate a weapon, is made a messenger, and immediately provides Eomer with a confiscated weapon. You just know these two were besties.

I love that in the Lay of Nimrodel, it describes the colour of her dress and her shoes. Like she wore the same outfit everday and rocked it so well that the poets considered it worthy of mention in recording her story.

how can you not love dwarves like so much. there's so much there to love. dwarves are the best why does everyone sleep on how much dwarves rule
