So Adam Driver came to NAS Pensacola with his wife, Joanne Tucker, and couple other actors for an Arts in the Armed Forces event. It was AMAZING! Joanne really had me and my husband drawn in! She is a phenomenal actress and my husband even asked during the Q&A how she switches off her emotions so well (he asked if she preferred Ms. Tucker or Mrs Solo and Adam and her laughed. I was mortified 🤣). It was awesome! Afterwards, Adam stayed behind to sign and take pictures. I made him laugh when I told him our son was pretty pissed he couldn’t come (AITAF recommended younger people not be present due to the nature of the play. Some people did bring their kids though so hopefully next time we’ll bring our son). Adam is a TALL man, y’all! I couldn’t believe it. I may not have been able to thank him or tell him how I he inspires me but I am thankful I was able to snag a pic with him! If any of you have an opportunity where AITAF is gonna be at your base, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed!

And an added note, my husband and I were interviewed before the show and I can’t wait to see it!
