“This is true.” She shrugged, scrunching her nose in disgust at the memory. “Oh, please. You? Class?”

Marcel downed the glass in one go as Rebekah took the seat next to him, asking for another when he caught the bartenders attention. “Is this something you really want to talk to me about?” He lifts a brow, looking to her briefly. “Honestly I would be better if you and your family left, but we don’t all get our way.” Grabbing for the glass, he took another drink. “How’s Hope?”

“Oh, I have no problem talking to you about it. My standards aren’t that high at all. All I ask for is someone to love and who loves me in return. Unconditionally. Everyone wants that.” She replied, taking a sip of her own drink. She finally gained enough courage to glance at him, but looked back down at her glass at his next statement. “She’s a perfect angel.” Rebekah answered. “She’s also a part of the family you hate so much.”

“One and only.” She lightly laughed as she went to the blond and hugged her. “Yes and no.” She grinned. “I was brought back. .Witches and their spells. ”

Rebekah wrapped her friend in her arms. “I’d love to personally thank that witch.” She laughed softly. “How’s New Orleans treating you?”

Klaus chuckled a small chuckle, looking over to his sleeping daughter then sister. “Yeah, she has.” Last time he saw her, she was two and he was able to just carry her around anywhere. “She has that special thing about her, having people want to stay.” Which was good for their family. As they’ve always said. She was their hope.

Rebekah smiled, walking over to gently brush Hope’s hair out of her face. “She does.” The blonde agreed. She looked back down at Hope, her smile faltering. “Am I selfish for wanting to leave? I promise to fight by your side and protect her with everything I have. I just need you to tell me what to do this time, Nik, because I have no idea what decision to make.”

Marcel wasn’t paying the bar mind. He was here for a simple drink to ease his tense muscles. Hearing the all too familiar voice next to him, he kept his gaze forward– “With standards as high as yours, picking them from bars is probably not the best idea.”

With another roll of her eyes, she settled into the seat next to him. “I have high standards, really?” She scoffed. Rebekah couldn’t even bear to look at him for fear of both bursting into tears and smacking the smug look off his face - she just knew the look was there. “How’ve you been your majesty?” She asked sarcastically.

“You always did have such ways with words, Bekah.” Tatiana chuckled as she looked over and saw the original blonde.”

“Tatia?” She asked, a smile appearing on her face. None of the other doppelgangers would dare call her ‘Bekah’. “Haven’t changed much have I?” She asked, a bit choked up. “How are you here?” The blonde asked her long lost friend.

“You just described Matt – aside from being a frat boy. But he was the quarterback of the football team, so that sets it back.”

“Well, Matt Donovan was sweet. Unlike you and those dimwits. I’m sure you’d get along well.”

Even while Rebekah had stepped into the room, it didn’t stop Klaus from his painting. But the emerald eyes soon landed on his little sister with a small smile, “And here I thought you’d be halfway around the world by now.” Klaus spoke honestly.

“I can’t seem to leave her.” She said softly. “She’s grown so much.” Rebekah was definitely thinking about putting off leaving, at least until she knew Hope was safe.

Ever since Piper Halliwell had learned of her true nature, she had felt like she was living a nightmare. Everything she’d worked for, the life she wanted, she couldn’t have that when she was freezing people left and right. There had to be a way to stop it, to take the magic away as quickly as it had manifested itself. Maybe if she left New Orleans she could find someone to help, someone who could make it all go away. Piper was so lost in her thought as she walked down the sidewalk that she nearly ran a poor bystander over, and managed to spill her coffee all over herself in the process of stopping. “Great…” she muttered, glancing up to offer a quick “Sorry.”

Rebekah strolled down the sidewalk, obviously paying attention to her surroundings. If you didn’t in this city, you’d be dead in an instant. She thought maybe she’d explore the ‘new and improved’ New Orleans, grab a drink and shop a little. It was a lot of the same. More reason to leave. Just as she let herself daydream of a new life: freedom, someone to finally respect and love her for all she was, and even a family of her own, someone ran into her. She stepped backward, avoiding the splatter of coffee that would ruin her boots that were probably worth more than this girl’s house. “No harm done.” She said, looking at the girl’s ruined outfit. “Well, except for the whole outfit. Neither one of us were paying attention. How about I treat you to a new outfit and you can treat me to a coffee?”

“Disgusting.” Rebekah turned her head from the scene, before heading over to the bar to order another drink. “I’d rather be put to sleep again than be seen with frat boys who’s only vocabulary consists of ‘bro’, ‘chick’, and the oh-so-popular phrase ‘lit’. The smell of Axe body spray will forever be burned into my nostrils.”

Honestly, right now she’s torn between wanting to stay in New Orleans to be with her niece because she’s missed so much of her life already, and getting the hell out of there.

P E A C E was nonexistent when it came to the Mikaelson name. Yet luckily, Klaus has found it within two things. His daughter, who was currently asleep on the couch beside him, and painting. Which led the hybrid here, allowing himself a full moments peace before he heard a pitter patter behind him, “What do you need?” The hybrid asks, keeping his eyes on the painting.

"I was just looking for my precious niece." Rebekah replied, softly. It brought her all the joy in the world to see her family at peace, even if it was just for a few moments. The blonde smiled at the scene in front of her. "This is all I need at the moment. Go about your business. I won't be a bother."
