Vierithra: Yes, she thinks she attractive. She’s not her own type but she knows she ain’t ugly. She doesn’t use it for her advantage in any way however.

Warden: I don’t think he thinks about it much. People seem to think he is, so he has to assume they aren’t lying. His relationship with his body is a bit odd so he tends not to mind it too much, even if that means looking scruffy and tripping over his own feet. The only times he uses his looks to his advantage is when he uses his big ole eyes to blink pathetically at people. It works pretty well with people who care about him so he doesn’t mind! :)

Vierithra: Call her a drow stereotype but she loves a feminine man 😔 Doesn’t have to be feminine but she certainly won’t complain if they are. Her type for women is a bit fuzzy even for herself. She’d have to think about that harder.

Warden: Mean, older, could beat his ass. For both men and women. He likes being thrown around and loves a weird dynamic.

Vierithra: She’s comfortable with pda, both giving and receiving. She would only complain if she was in a professional environment.

Warden: He has no issues with pda. He tends to be a bit shy about giving and receiving affection in either setting so as long has he gets over that pda is just fine.

👙 :What kind of underwear do they use? Is it pretty or functional?

Unfortunately they are both all in on function. Traveling doesn’t allow for cute underwear. They both also aren’t the type. Warden would wear something if it was requested but he just isn’t the type to buy any for himself, and Vierithra would feel weird wearing anything that shows her body like that.

Vierithra: I’d say aura personally but I’m not entirely sure what others would say. I certainly don’t think she’s ugly (she’s one of my prettiest ocs imo) but she’s very physically modest and keeps herself pretty shrouded so I think her aura is more interesting on first glance. She’s very intense on first meeting and that only really chills out down after a while of comfortability. Her gaze is very intense so I guess if you’re into having the dnd equivalent of the archivist from The Magnus Archives staring into your soul then you’ve found the woman for you!

Warden: Well he’s got that haunted blond man swag going for him, but I think most of his appeal comes from the fact that he is just genuinely very sweet and polite. Very endearing. If you can get past the desaturation and haunted eyes he’s not too bad to look at either.

🚲: Does your OC enjoy playing the field? Or are they more monogamy-minded?

Vierithra: Very open to playing the field and not looking to settle down. The most she could hope for is a semi regular partner but even then she’s not worried about it at all.

Warden: He’s very much a ‘Wants to be wanted’ type of character so he’d prefer to have someone who likes him enough to want to ‘keep him’ but isn’t against some fun with interesting people now and then.

🦴 : Does your OC have much sexual experience? What are they like?

Vierithra: She has quite a bit but she has also had a long time to get that experience. It’s different to humans in a similar life stage as her. She has always been a stone top. Not always too strict with it but now a days she prefers to do all the work. Always been very instructive in that role, very teasing as well. She’s allowed to be a little mean with it as a treat.

Warden: He’s had a lot of sexual experience due to his history in sexwork. Almost was always on the receiving end so that’s what he’s most skilled in.

Vierithra: She is well aware of sex’s emotional weight but she tries to keep it extremely causal just for her own peace of mind.

Warden: Very used to sex as casual. To him it’s a service that can be traded so he takes it as seriously as any other form of service. It’s harder when he really wants to sleep with someone and he doesn’t have something that he thinks is valuable enough to trade. He wants them to know that he values them and what they have to offer. He’s still stressing out about that…

Vierithra: Good banter. She loves a bitchy back and forth. She loves joking and poking fun. It show’s comfortability that you don’t really get with sweet words or acts of service. If you show her genuine trust she will be starstruck.

Warden: God, you could do just about anything. What gets him best is words of praise and looking at him. Showing any sign that you notice him or have thought about him even a little bit. He is a weak man.

💌 : How would they plan a romantic evening for a significant other?

Vierithra: If she has a significant other something very strange has happened and someone should check on her. That aside, she enjoys most forms of quality time. If they had shared friends that they enjoy the day would probably start there, and as the night goes on and people disperse she would pull them along on a more traditional date. Things with just the two of them. She would start higher energy in a neutral environment and as the energy slows she would have the two of them slow as well.

Warden: He would over plan until he threw up from stress probably. If he actually managed to get through the planning stage it would probably hurt his wallet. He strikes me as a go big or go home kind of date planner. Busy schedule, timed out with different activities. He plans as if it’s the only date he’ll ever get with them so he has to make it count.

Meant to post this on Wednesday, completed spaced on doing it, but I'm doing it now! Snippet taken from the next chapter of Black Hands Clasped which can be read from the beginning here.

It was only after several more minutes—filled with tedious pleasantries that Julian tuned out—that Enver finally managed to escape. As she carefully began pouring the tea, Julian watched as Enver leaned back against the door, running his hands through his hair and down his face. “Your tea is ready…” she said, after watching him for a moment. Enver glanced at her. “What?” Julian set the kettle back on the stove’s back burner and then finally gave the Black Dog the attention He had been after all morning. As she ruffled the fur behind His ears, she repeated herself. “Your tea is ready.” Skepticism and distrust was plain in his features, but he crossed the house anyway, joining her in the kitchen. Without the haze of lingering smoke, Julian took him in. It was fortunate his shirt was black—and dulled for repeated washing—because he was still half-covered in soot. His sleeves had been rolled up to his elbows, and his laces were as haphazardly done as ever, leaving half his chest exposed. He was fortunate he hadn’t gotten burned, wearing his shirt like that. Though he had made a valiant attempt at wiping his face clean, soot still lingered on the tip of his nose and was smeared across his chin. The latter made the old hair-thin scar that cut across his skin there stand out that much more.

6. What does their laugh sound like?

Most of the time his laughs are small and polite but if you really get him going it’s boisterous as fuck. Full body shaking belly laugh.

The smells he enjoys are a bit odd. He likes how people smell. The slight smell of sweat, the warmth, lingering soap. It’s comforting to him.

5. Do they have any collections?

She has every journal she has ever written in since she was a child. She has a small library of them at this point. She only has a few on her person for reference material but she has well over a hundred at home.

16. Do they have a "lucky" item?

Her primary mask/ holy symbol. It was the first thing she put on in the morning and the final thing she took off at night. Since getting it back she feels like she can’t wear it right away since she’s worried about “tainting it”. So for now it stays in her bag for her to look at while overthinking.

31. If they could have any pet, what would it be?

A normal pet would make her nervous. She is already worried about human lifespans, so don’t get her started on mortal creature ones. I think a cat would be good for her but maybe as a familiar who won’t die of old age.

W: He is very interested in making clothes. He has been collecting fabric to decorate his future animated dead but hasn’t had much of an opportunity to plan patterns.

V: She is very into language learning but hasn’t had time to really learn anything from anyone. She intends to start soon though.

4. What's an item that is deeply important and special to them? What makes it so special?

W: On his person, in with his bed roll, he has a small scrap of old wine-red fabric. This is a piece of an old scarf he used when he was a child in order to transport the target of his first spell. When he woke up after the spell it was clean so he thought it was of importance and was worth keeping, even if just to be sentimental. Turns out a year went by and it was cleaned in the process.

V: Her fabric mask. It was one of the first ones she got when she was a young priest. The fabric is softened by use and she wears it when she is doing comfortable downtime or resting.

17. What's their sleeping position when they're on their own?

W: He either lays horribly still, flat on his back with his arms by his sides or curled up into the smallest tightest ball on his side. There is no in between.

V: Trances are so short that she doesn’t always bother getting super comfortable. She could trance sitting or even standing upright. If she is laying down, she’s a side sleeper.

28. What makes them feel safe?

W: Soft words and touches with reassurance.

V: Company. That and a dark environment. She likes to have a tactical advantage in case of danger.
