First off, just to make this clear: while this blog is dedicated to Voldemort and Harrymort, I do not support J.K. Rowling or her views. Hate and bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated here.

A bit about me and this blog:
I've been a Harry Potter fan since childhood, but I've never really engaged with the fandom until now. This blog marks my first attempt at sharing my own theories and random thoughts about the series.
I’m open to different interpretations, but I know some people might not agree with mine and may choose not to follow me because of it (and I respect that). I’ll be sharing some of my hot (or maybe not-so-hot) takes, headcanons, and personal interpretations of the text here.
I'm not a fan of the films. The changes made in the adaptation alter the core of the plot and the overall story, but most notably, they distort the characters, reducing them to mere caricatures of who they were meant to be.
I don't believe Voldemort is insane and/or badly written. The cackling version of him we see in the films is a creation that has skewed the true nature of his character from the books.
That said, I don’t think Harry Potter or its characters (Voldemort included) are perfect or without flaws. I adore the world and concept of the series, but I’m also the first to critique it and point out its imperfections.
Lord Voldemort is Lord Voldemort. I’m not a fan of splitting him into two separate personas (Voldemort as the evil, insane figure and Tom Riddle as the brilliant, good one). Lately, I’ve started to feel disconnected from the fandom trend of treating them as distinct characters.
Harrymort is the only pairing I’m passionate about. I’m neutral toward other ships.
I’m a fan of female Harry, but that’s mainly because of one specific fanfic - I do understand why genderbending can be unpopular in fandoms, and I agree that many genderbent stories can erase important LGBTQ+ representation, which I definitely don’t support.
I don’t have a specific gender identity headcanon for Harrymort. Trans, cis, female, male, nonbinary - all are valid and appreciated.
However, my preferred sexual orientation headcanon for both Harry and Voldemort is either bisexual, pansexual or asexual/on the aroace spectrum. Since my own sexuality is also clouded by trauma and shrouded in ever-present confusion, I enjoy exploring the subject of gender and sexual identity in various ways - so even my established headcanons tend to be fluid.
I deeply enjoy the bi-racial/having Indian ancestry Harry headcanon.
Recently, I’ve started to explore the idea of Voldemort having biracial or mixed ancestry as well, possibly with Middle Eastern or East Asian roots - something that mirrors the biracial Harry headcanon. This idea came from a post I saw about how Harry often gets changed in fics, but Voldemort usually stays the same in terms of ethnicity or race. It sparked an idea in my mind that I’d love to explore.
I have plenty of AU ideas for Harrymort, and I’d like to bring them to life eventually, but I plan to start with an 'original' idea.
The main reason I’m starting this blog is because Tomarrymort stories are some of the best I’ve ever read. No matter how much time passes, I always come back to them. I’m a sucker for slow burns, and I love how versatile these stories can be in exploring different themes and motifs.
My opinions, however, are just that - opinions. Everyone has the right to enjoy what they like and interpret things how they want. It’s fiction. It’s fun. I appreciate diverse opinions, as long as we can keep it respectful.
