do you ever see your sibling and just have this overwhelming urge to smack them for no reason? like my brother will walk into the room and i’m like “oh man i guess i have to end you”
You don’t understand how much this post has ruined my life. My older sister won’t stop mentioning the Cain Instinct. Every time I hear the name Cain I run in fear, It’s not funny anymore. She’ll literally say “im feeling the Cain Instinct” just before she attacks. But all I’m feeling is the Abel Instinct. Someone save me. I am a sacrificial lamb and God is my sister with a pillow.

I feel like a lot of people get "All Art is Political" confused with "All Art is made with Political Intentions" which is not the same.
And stay safe everyone!
ID: screenshot from the United States Counterterrorism Strategy 2026, published early May 2026 reading, "In addition to cartels and Islamist terror groups, our national CT activities will also prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist. We will use the tools constitutionally available to us to map them at home, identify their membership, map their ties to international organizations like Antifa, and use law enforcement tools to cripple them operationally before they can maim or kill the innocent. We will do the same with state sponsors of such groups and those governments undertaking lethal plots on U.S. soil or against Americans anywhere. End ID
Link to the publication it's 16 pages 3 of which are skippable (front cover, table of contents, trump's intro letter) and one of which is only half a page, if you're in the USA you have time to read it.
every major structural social problem right now is basically "we don't have enough skilled workers on the ground" and the reason is always "well we've been intentionally underpaying and understaffng them for decades to increase corporate profits" and somehow the news always just mentions the "shortage" without digging into the cause
air travel is a mess? shortage of air traffic controllers - for some mysterious reason
logistics a mess? shortage of truck drivers - for some mysterious reason
public transit can't meet demand? shortage of bus drivers - for some mysterious reason
We even mysteriously have shortages of doctors, nurses, teachers... FOR SOME MYSTERIOUS REASON
FUCKING PAY PEOPLE AND HIRE ENOUGH STAFF
As pride month starts I want to remind everyone that staff have been banning and censoring trans women unfairly for years and not to give these assholes any credit for anything ever. Do not forget to fight for your sisters, especially your sisters of color.
In light of some of the many things happening across the world this year, I thought this Pride Month needed a special illustration.
Happy Pride Month, may we all stay safe, look after each other, and keep painting our rainbows, no matter what. 🌈🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Obviously the book interpretation is entirely up to the reader, but I like to think that Lucy Gray's grave is empty. Not because she isn't dead. Not because she lives either. But because the whole point of her character after Snow finally cracks is to haunt the narrative, and the most interesting, compelling way she can do that is both for him and for us to never truly know what happens to her afterwards. She's Schrödinger's cat. She's a ghost that lives every time someone replaces the Capitol silence with music. We don't even know if the Covey ever found her. The only thing I choose to believe, whether they did or not, is that that grave is empty.
Lucy Gray doesn't belong in the ground. She is the air, the trees, a whisper behind your ear. She is insanity for the cruel and strength for the defiant. She is hope; not a grain of it, not in small doses, not the tool Coriolanus means it to be. He tried to squash it, but Lucy Gray became intangible. Like a song, she escaped his control, and she became infinite.
-Yet some maintain that to this day
She is a living child;
That you may see sweet Lucy Gray
Upon the lonesome wild.
