”I’m wearing a vintage 1960s mini dress, bought at a fair in Leeds UK. My suede 1960s jacket was an eBay find. Silver lace-ups are from Clarke’s Shoes. The 1960s studded bag is from a vintage stall in Miami Beach. My style is inspired by the clothes I’m drawn to. I’ve been wearing vintage since I was 15, and over time I worked my way through a mixture of eras from 50s-80s, always centred around the bright & colourful pieces. Over the last 10 years I’ve really settled into 60s/70s psychedelic clothing, minis, maxi’s and trouser suits. A bright pair of tights is a wardrobe staple for me. The 1966 film Blow Up has my favourite on-screen style.”

“I guess I am interested in something hybrid with ancient Chinese myth, Japanese manga, and something Gothic. I admire clothes from Uma Wang, Yohji Yamamoto, hats from Kreuzzz, shoes from Trippen, though I could not afford any of them. My family sells clothes for a living, and I study creative writing in poetry. I get annoyed by a lot of cool clothes nowadays with silly cheerful sentences on them. And I have been thinking for a long time that I want to create a brand of clothing all inspired by poetry/ or with poetry prints. Think about Monday to Friday wearing clothes with the spirit of Pessoa, Frank O'hara, Anne Carson… If someone wants to collaborate please let me know.”

my life it extends the diameter of my intentions like Dionysus is god and the world still turns that’s pretty huge how beautiful that is and the days are getting longer and the sunset at late evening isn’t less than glorious or unfortunate unless it’s like some good used Versace shorts on sale for ten dollars if I could change my name and keep my initials it’d be Mark McNairy my legs are hairy my feet are the exact length of my forearm and very clean I have great weed for dinner I’m waiting on my leather bag so I can ride off like a gangster or maybe not I was born that way the leather bag is accoutrement death gilds the roses they’re so beautiful either way the bubble gum machine is never empty so fuck anyone who isn’t about that life I’ll figure out what that is soon blow 🙂
