I think one of the most unrealistic things about Captain Marvel Junior is that he doesn’t outright kill Captain N*zi. So my explanation for this is that Shazam (the wizard) must have forbidden Freddy/Junior from killing N*zi.

Think about it this way: he chose Billy to be Captain Marvel because he was “pure of heart”. Shazam didn’t choose Freddy, but surely if he was selective about who could receive the power, then there must be some kind of morality agreement involved therein. Freddy is virtuous, but he might not be pure-of-heart. So unlike Billy, Shazam has to order him not to kill. It’s damage control, basically…

This wouldn’t be the first stipulation that we see attached to the power. In Whiz Comics #25 (Junior’s origin story), Captain Marvel tells him that he can only use the power when needed — he’ll have to stay as Freddy Freeman for the rest of his time on earth.

In conclusion: There were probably stipulations to Freddy receiving the power, even if Billy chose him without the wizard. Not killing Captain N*zi was one of them.

ooo i agree with this 100% it never made since to me with that shazam cover where cap was telling Freddy not to kill him. i like to believe that freddy killed lots of nazis so it shouldn’t be a problem and it’s not just about avenging his grandfather but he’s tried to hurt other people as well

I also love the idea that billys just sitting there eating some food watching them discuss him being a child, he says something about them being old and thats what causes someone to lose it
