A little acoustic rock reggae from my latest album, These Are the Days.
Listen/purchase: These Are the Days by Billy DeCristofano
The time has arrived. I had been putting off recording this until I could get a full band together but with work and family obligations, I realized I’d have to work within my constraints or it would never get done.
I decided to record the songs on my own when I could, which was usually around 10pm on select weeknights throughout 2019. This was the only time I could sit down and concentrate without the distractions of day to day life. I’d venture down to my basement when everyone was asleep and set up with my two mics, my laptop, and trusty Ibanez acoustic guitar to lay as much music down as I could.
The result is an 11 track album of stripped down and chilled out acoustic-rock-reggae songs.
Thanks for giving it a listen and hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
And if you’ve been putting of creating something that you want to make, don’t wait. It feels good to get it out there so get after it!
