No shit, I’m in healthcare and everyday I get emails from superiors (working from home) talking how we should be grateful we’re still working and we’re making a difference. But all raises are cut. My friend also in healthcare had a 3% pay cut company wide. It was revealed that our company was going to lose 15m in profits- this is coming from people who have grown literal fortunes multimillionaire share holders, who at the prospect of losing profit they cut all non essential staff from pay roll, begged the govt for money and cut any raises and overtime. But if we complained about the workload we get slapped with “you came into this job because you wanted to help people” legit
