Sungha Jung: Live in Manila Feb. 4, 2017 Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila I'd say I was charmed by the fingerstyle of this 20-year old guitarist who came into the limelight a few years back courtesy of his youtube performances viewed by more than a million. He beautifully performed original pieces that are from his 2016 album "L'Atelier" which he says are born in his workshop/studio. He also played some covers of well known kpop groups like BigBang's Last Dance BTS' Blood Sweat and Tears, Yiruma's A River Flows in You (I totally ❤ this) and an OPM piece from Up Dharma Down - Tadhana. His Philippine-based fans obviously enjoyed the one-night only concert and many of them brought along their guitars for the photo & autograph signing session (VIP tickets have such luck). Everyone was advised against taking videos of his concert performance and posting them on line since he is on a tour (Caution for spoilers). Only authorized media reps were granted permission to take photos. (Security was vigilant but I had a pass 🤗) Photos are mine. Pleasr take out with full credits.
