"Verily, with hardship comes ease."

Playful with family, but a man when needed...
Abu Najih reported: Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “I am certainly amazed that a man can be with his family like a child, but if he is called forth, he is found to be a true man.”

Imām Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله said:
“How could I not to love the One who imparted me with my senses and bestowed on me knowledge I enjoy!?
The appreciation of knowledge and the means by which I grasp knowledge surpasses all other tangible enjoyments for, indeed, He is the One who taught me, created my awareness, and guided me to what I have grasped.”

“My Lord, put my heart at ease for me,
And ease my task for me.”

📝 Ibn Battah reported that al-Hasan al-Basrī (رحمهما الله) said:
“There will come leaders who call people to that which opposes the Sunnah; so their subjects will obey them fearing losses in their worldly life. Thereupon, Allāh will remove from them Īmān, cause them to inherit destitution, deprive them of patience, and they will receive no reward (for their trials).”
