I hate to be making another post but we are struggling bad right now and need food desperately. I was already kind of screwed over monetarily with my hours getting cut back to about half of what they were but it got worse. Tuesday (09/19/23) I got into an car accident while on my way to work.

While I walked away mostly unscathed I received a minor fracture on my right hand and my scooter (my primary transportation to work) is totally busted.

I only really need about $250 to make it cozily through this bill cycle without facing any late fees.

The fracture is unfortunately on my dominant hand so I can't comfortably offer commission or sketch requests until the splint is off unless you're fine with waiting.

i got a really bad concussion in june and ive been on medical leave from work. i applied for temporary disability benefits through my state and they've been taking far too long to review the case, and ive been without any regular income for the last 3 months.

if anyone is able to spare anything, even just 5 dollars, you'll be helping to feed me and my kitten peaches (pictured below), pay for my doctors and medications that i need, and honestly be saving my life in a small way. im not expecting anyone to swoop in and pay off all the debt i owe, im just hoping for a little help to make it through each day, since im completely out of groceries and the food bank has made it prohibitively difficult to schedule a time to go in with its covid rules

My job's contract got cancelled with their client due to reasons I legally cannot mention yet. This means all my hours next week are gone and I had a 60 hour week. I cannot seem to get a break as I now have to raise $620 (including the extra from the landlord) by Oct. 1st as next week I will only be getting $360 to pay rent. edit (9/18): court for the boys was today and since their father was a no show I am able to keep them, under the stipulation that CPS visits will be weekly and that rent payments are made on time from here on out to ensure the boys don't chance being homeless. Please spread this its gotten worse and more dangerous since I had several seizures and bc my sleep quality is horrible it contributes to it a lot.

I tend to wake up with seizure auras which are basically mini seizures that could develop in to a Grand mal seizure. Its even worse bc I’m home alone at least 4 days a week bc I can’t legally work and the only bread winner is my husband and he doesn’t get paid very well. it's a bipartisan bill too! and for anyone unaware, people on SSI (which is different from SSDI), can only have $2,000 in assets (unless they have an ABLE account, which comes with its own rules). this assets limit has been in place for FORTY YEARS and is a giant part of why being on SSI keeps people incredibly impoverished.

i've also heard they might remove the marriage penalty but i don't have the spoons to read or explain it so someone else please add on!

this is huge! please spread the word and do what you can to help ensure this happens!

On July 9, 2023 I fractured my ankle at work. Since then after fighting uphill battles with my job and insurance I still have yet to receive worker’s comp. I called, emailed, texted and pleaded but my job won’t help me and I still can’t go back to work.
