Request from @witheringpain - Could you make a headcanon of how all the autobots/decepticons would react if you died in a war (G1) ?
Will do š«”š«”š«”
Sorry this is so late but Iāve got so much going on Iāve ended up going through my requests at a snails pace lol.
I haven't done transformers requests in 3-4 years so hello pls don't beat me up over this but here we go anyway:
Warnings: Character Death (Reader), Heavy Descriptions Of Gore And Violence, Themes Of Grieving And Depression
Autobots: (This is mostly Optimus-centred but I included most of the Autobots reactions because this first part was already too long to repeat for each separate character ā Iāve also made it platonic)
Also PLEASE keep in mind that Iāve only seen short clips of G1, which is why I donāt write for them often, so the characters may seem a little OOC ā if they are I apologise but itās the best I could do
Ooooh boy, theyāre not gonna like that
Letās say youāre Optimusās bestie (along with the other autobots ofc)
And letās keep in mind that G1 Optimus is not as calm/ level headed as TFP Optimus and not as ādeath/kill/angry/rageā as Bayverse Optimus
So heās not gonna go round on the battle field murdering left right and centre
But heās also not gonna just stand there
Heās more likely to turn towards the loud gunshot behind him and watch as your body hits the ground and take a moment
Like itās not gonna click instantly
He probably thinks youāve been shot in the leg and he waits a second for you to scream or writhe around in pain
But then your body lops to the side and he sees your eyes frozen wide in shock, with a gaping bullet hole still sizzling and steaming away in the middle of your forehead
And when I say it hits them all
It hits them
HARD
Optimus sort of just stumbles for a moment cuz he can feel every part of himself short-circuit
He also thought his audio receptors had stopped working
But no
Itās the battlefield
Itās dead silent
Everyone seems to have just stopped
He canāt see (cuz he literally cannot take his eyes off your body) but Prowl and Ratchet are nearest
And theyāre desperate to run to him but the fact that heās so still
Ratchet doesnāt dare go near you for a hot minute because itās not normal for Optimus to be still for that long.
Prowlās too busy trying to see who shot you, and eventually he spies the steaming barrel of the gun from across the field and heās instantly seeing red
The decepticon that owns said gun doesnāt look any better
You can practically hear him from how much heās shaking
Eventually, the dead silence is broken
āWhat did you do?ā
Itās Megatron
He might be Optimusās sworn enemy
But he knows when to not cross a line
As in murder Optimusās closest friend
Megatron only murmured it since he was only frozen in place a few metres away
But it was loud enough to break whatever spell Optimus was under
Both decepticons watched in terror as Optimusās head snapped towards them, his optics wide and glowing brighter than ever
And you know whatās even worse?
His face guard is gone
Sheathed away and full face on display
Now, letās clarify that you, are the only person in the existence of ever, to know what he looks like under the mask
And the fact that everyone can see his full face right now shows exactly how out of control his emotions are right now
Heās heaving, heās shaking, and thereās coolant streaming down his face because guess what cybertronians can cry
In his millions of years fighting wars, Megatron canāt recall a time heās ever seen such despair on a bots face
Let alone on Optimus
The sounding of creaking metal brings everyoneās attention back on Optimus
And it takes a moment for everyone to realise where the noise is coming from but soon enough they watch as his servo tightens even more around his axe, the creaking noise becoming louder
And all of a sudden everyoneās like:
Oh shit
The decepticon that shot you is like
Shit shit shit shit
And Megatron accepts heās gonna be a Con down after today because looking at the state that Prime is in he knows itās not worth it
He looks to the Con who is pleading for help with his eyes and just shrugs
āI think youāre on your own now :)ā
Megatron along with everyone else takes a step back as Optimus begins to move
Heās not running, no
Just walking
His optics not moving from the con in front of him as he strides over.
Eventually the con drops his gun with a cry and frantically runs into the woods behind him
But Optimus keeps his speed at walking pace
Which is even more terrifying
Megatron just moves aside raising his hands in surrender as he passes
Because a heaving, blank-faced, mask-less Optimus unconsciously dragging a weapon behind him is not something he wants to try and pester right now
Soon Optimus disappears into the woods after the Con
And everyone remains silent and unmoving as they listen
Pedesteps every now and again are heard from within the trees
Minutes pass and no one is yet to move, too occupied with straining their audials for a noise
Though it isnāt long until everyone flinches as a terrified shriek rips through the air, causing the birds to scatter
A string of frantic pleads of help follow
Until they are replaced with screams as loud clangs of metal on metal are heard
But soon the screams are drowned out by the clangs and soon enough the sounds of the Con are no more
But the clanging doesnāt stop
It just keeps going in a steady rhythm
Until one final loud smash reverberates through the air
And it is silent once again
Everyone else takes this as their cue
Megatron instantly transforms and takes off
And it isnāt long before the rest of the Decepticons follow, leaving the Autobots to themselves
The following silence is soon broken as Ratchet finally moves towards your body
Wiping the coolant that wonāt seem to stop streaming down his face, he kneels down to scoop your lifeless form into his arms
Prowl drags himself over to you both, his pedes never feeling so heavy
With a dark solemn look on his faceplates, he stares at your corpse in the medics arms
After a moment, he slowly lifts his servo towards your face, where your face is still frozen in a terrified expression
And as gently as he can, he takes two digits and places them above your optic lids before sliding them closed
That seemed to be a tipping point for Ratchet as he broke down in heaving sobs
His frame trembling as he tried to keeps both himself and you balanced as everyone around looked at him in both surprise and pity
This is a first because Ratchet is probably the least likely to react so emotionally to death
He been witnessing it almost every day for the past few million years after all
But you were someone special
Someone he thought would be the last person to die so suddenly
Someone he thought he would have time to save, and time to grieve
But thatās what war does
It has no mercy with anyone
No matter who someone is and how special they are
And Ratchet thought he had come to terms with that idea
But the scene he gave showed everyone he hadnāt quite accepted it fully
Prowl wanted to break down too
He wanted to scream into the heavens and beyond, cursing out those who took you from them but also hoping you could hear him
A sign to show that you were still here with them
But he knew it would prove useless
And with Ratchet gone too far into his own mind
He knew it was his turn to be the level headed one
Now wasnāt the time to flip tables and punch walls
He didnāt want to show his emotional instability in front of the others
So he joined Ratchet by his side, a servo slowly soothing up and down the medicās trembling back struts.
He noted that Optimus still hadnāt returned from the woods
But that wasnāt who he was concerned about at the moment
As if on cue, three sets of bouncing footsteps along with energised voices were heard as they got nearer
Everyone tensed at the sound, and slowly turned towards the outstretch of cliff nearby where the voices owners would soon be revealed
Prowl left Ratchetās side after one last reassuring pat, leaving the now slightly calmer bot to cradle you
Turning the corner, he was met with two bright sets of yellow and one red
Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker had returned from their reconnaissance, playing and shoving at each other joyously after a seemingly successful mission, ready to hear what had become of the fight they missed
Though that all halted when they caught sight of a silent Prowl who was suspiciously not scolding them for returning so late
Coming to a stop, they eyed him, Sideswipe talking first:
āWe just saw Megatron and his goons flying away! Did you flip enough tables to scare them off or something?ā
That set the three of them into another fit of giggles
But coming to a stop again at the sight of Prowls door wings not springing up in frustration like they usually do
āSay Prowl, whatās got your tailpipe in a twist?ā Sunstreaker piped up
Prowl opened his mouth, and got exactly one vowel out before going silent again. He did this several times before eventually giving up.
Ok this was different
Prowl always has something to reply with
āWhat happened.ā Demanded Bumblebee
Despite being a joyous bot, Bumblebee knew when it was time to be serious, and Prowl being lost for words meant that only the worst could have happened
Prowl tried to reply again, but his voice box betrayed him for a second time
Without a second thought Bumblebee strode ahead, brushing aside Prowls outstretched servo and rounded the corner
At a first glance all he could see was every bot crowded around something, but when he called out they all parted to reveal something he wished he could never see
A pained cry of despair echoed throughout the forested valley, and Sideswipe and Sunstreaker didnāt hesitate for a second as they sprinted around the corner to their friend with Prowl hot on their heels
The sight before them was the one thing they never wanted
Bumblebee was being held back as he tried to reach for whatever Ratchet had in his arms, howling and crying out as he stretched his arm as far as he could
The two bots rushed to try and help the others in restraining him, but both stumbled in shock as they caught sight of your lifeless corpse
Soon the bots had to be divided as they wrestled the three young bots that were wailing in anguish for their friend
Bumblebee had given up at this point, his head on Prowls shoulder as he stared at you with a glazed unmoving expression
The twins were worse off, crying and screaming in everyoneās faces until their voice boxes gave out, demanding what had happened and why they werenāt able to save you, why Ratchet wasnāt able to save you, but all the bots and the medic could do was look down to not make any further eye contact.
Not long after the screaming match another set of footsteps were heard getting nearer, and a hush fell over everyone, including the twins after pleas from the others, as they all stared at the silhouette emerging from the foliage
As the bot moved into the sunlight, everyoneās optics widened at the sight
Optimus had returned, but he was barely recognisable
Well
You could still tell it was him
But his paintjob was almost unidentifiable
Blue and red peeked through the streaks and smears of pink and magenta, the energon from the unlucky con splattered all over his frame
The worst parts were on his axe and up his arms, his paintjob covered almost entirely with energon still dripping from those areas along with chunks of metal that slowly slid down his frame, looking suspiciously similar to the conās paintjob
The most horrifying part, though, was his axe
Which looked like it had come straight out of a horror movie
Through the energon and bits of metal that covered the blades, one half seemed to have bent, the blade curving in a way that would fit a cybertronians head shape after hitting it with the force of a mountain
Which is probably what happened
Itās also probably what made that extra load bang at the end
But no one really cared about that
They were too busy trying to figure out what Optimus would do next
Which was a bit difficult considering he was just standing there not saying a word and just staring ahead into the distance
A beat passed before shuffling was heard and Bumblebee broke away from Prowls embrace and rushed towards the Prime
Despite everyone wanting to stop him, they were too scared of going near Optimus at this point
Reaching Optimus, Bumblebee threw himself around him, not caring about the height difference
This seemed to bring Prime out of his trance, half lidded optics looking down at the smaller bot
Though it wasnāt long before Optimus gently pried Bumblebeeās servos away, holding them in his own
The bots watched albeit tense as the taller bot stared down at his smaller companion
All it took was for Bee to look up whilst blinking back tears of coolant for Optimus to drop his axe with a clang and scoop him into his arms, their helms buried into each otherās neck cables, and Bumblebeeās sobbing started up again
After a minute, they pulled away from each other, and Bee tried to say something through the hiccupping of his voice box, but the Prime stopped him with a servo on his shoulder and a small smile that was far from reaching his optics
Which everyone could see since he had yet to re-engage his mask
But they made sure not to bring it up
Soon Optimus was back on his pedes and picking up his axe, gently leading Bumblebee back to the group
Reaching Ratchet, he placed a servo on his shoulder
āLetās get them back to the ship old friend."
Decepticons: (This oneās a bit shorter Iām afraid ā I struggled with coming up with anything for anyone else so this is more headcanon-y)
Warnings: Character Death (AKA YOU), Heavy Descriptions of Gore, Themes of Grieving and Depression.
Now with the decepticons it can be a little different
Depending on what kind of relationship youāve formed and with who
The Autobots are all tight knit in some way
Whereas with the cons
You couldāve been working with them for eons
But if youāre just another soldier that has been recruited
Then those higher up arenāt gonna bat an optic
They might notice your posts being replaced
But thatās it
However
If youāre higher ranking and have formed some type of relationship with them
Then things are going to go down differently
Soundwave would be inconsolable for a while
The only ones allowed near him were his minicons
Who would scuttle out his berthroom to grab some energon for their robodad, before quickly disappearing back into the dark room
He wouldnāt come out until Megatron demanded entry
And the minocons along with a few others would wait around the corner in the corridor
Tying to get within earshot but failing nonetheless
Megatron then walked out, not bothering with the troops who scattered as soon as he appeared
It would be another day before Soundwave would emerge
But he wouldnāt answer anyone about how he was
He simply got on with his tasks as he did before
Overworking so much that he would have to be dragged to recharge
Life would resume as normal
But during his weekly spying sessions through the security cameras
Starscream would note the pauses the quiet con would take
Each time in the exact same spot
Standing in front of the doors to the comms room where you had worked
Staring in as if he was looking for you to spring out on him
But you never did
Speaking of Starscream
Itās a bit of a 50/50 with him
You could be any rank
And considering how desperate he is to overthrow Megatron and lead the Decepticons
Thereās a chance that he could be so obsessed and caught up in his scheming
That he just doesnāt have the spare time to get to know you or basically care about you in any way
But if we went with the other half
And you were someone he had befriended and roped into his overthrowing plans
Then your death would throw him off track big time
It would take him forever to comprehend the fact that the one con he could trust properly on his ship was in pieces that were now drifting somewhere through space
To the other cons he was just being himself after your death
So just annoying
Complaining how he now had to figure out how to achieve the tasks he had set you for universal dominance as well as his own
But the heaving sobs and wails that echoed through the ships corridors late at night said otherwise
Ravage made the unlucky mistake of walking in on Starscream as he curled up underneath his desk
Though not much time was spent inside as Ravage high tailed it out of there, narrowly dodging something being thrown as the seeker screamed for them to get out
Skywarp and Thundercracker had a hard time as well
Feeling the immense grief flowing through the bond of their trine mateās spark as they watched him brush you off as just another accomplice in front of everyone else
Now
Onto boss man
Megatron would practically explode
He would be throwing himself into every battle and every autobot he can get his servos on
The one commander, apart from soundwave, he could trust with his life
Gone
In a puff of smoke
Well..
More like an explosion
AKA you were blasted to smithereens before he could pull you free from the collapsing power reactor
He would be frozen in place, your decapitated servo still grasped in his own
Bits of wiring and armour plating surrounding him on the floor
Along with the pink flames of your energon that had ignited as it hit the burning debris
He doesnāt quite remember what happened next
All he could recall were flashes of the bodies of other autobots as he tore them apart
And he found himself sat in the medbay, glaring unfocused at the metal floor
And now, in his berth room eons later, he still finds himself staring at the floor
Feeling as useless as the glass case that sat upon his shelf

Chapter 1 (First Part) - First Part of the Chapter 2 You are here!
Oh! In case I missed it... this happened after the barrier that trapped the monsters was broken... obviously on a pacifist route ;>
This part is just a short summary of the event, so sorry if it's too fast and short xd I just hope it's easy for you to understand the idea of what happened...
The thing about dying, you discovered, was that it was simultaneously more dramatic and more boring than you'd expected.
There were machines beeping, bright lights overhead, people in scrubs moving with purposeful urgency. Very medical drama. Very exciting.
But there were also long stretches of nothingāwaiting for test results, waiting for doctors, waiting for your heart to decide whether it was going to keep beating or just give up entirely. That part was boring. Tedious, even.
You drifted in and out of consciousness, catching fragments.
"āsevere dilated cardiomyopathyā"
"āwhy wasn't she on a transplant listā"
"āGuardian? We need to contactā"
"āBruce Wayne, apparently, but no one's answeringā"
That tracked. Of course no one was answering. It was gala night. The Waynes had more important things to do than answer calls about their dying daughter.
Except they didn't know you were dying, did they? Because you'd never told them. Because Bruce had kicked you out of his office. Because no one had cared enough to notice.
"We'll keep trying," someone said, and you wanted to laugh. Good luck with that.
At some pointāhours? minutes? time was weirdāyou surfaced enough to find a doctor standing by your bed. She was older, South Asian, with kind eyes and tired features.
"Hello," she said gently when she noticed you were awake. "I'm Dr. Kaur. You're at Gotham General Hospital. Do you remember what happened?"
"Bus bench," you croaked. Your throat was raw. "Couldn't breathe."
"You had a cardiac event. A very serious one. Your heart isā" She paused, choosing her words carefully. "Your heart is very sick. You have dilated cardiomyopathy. Were you aware of this diagnosis?"
"Yes."
"And you were being treated?"
"Was. Ran out of medication."
Her expression shiftedānot quite anger, but close. Frustration, maybe. Disappointment in the systems that had failed you. "How long have you been without your medication?"
"Day and a half."
"And before that? Were you taking it regularly?"
"When I could afford to refill it."
Dr. Kaur's jaw tightened. "You're sixteen years old. You should not be managing a life-threatening heart condition on your own." She pulled up a chair, sat down like she had all the time in the world even though you could hear the chaos of the ER beyond the curtain. "We've been trying to reach your father, Bruce Wayne. We've called multiple times, butā"
"He won't answer." Your voice was flat. "He's at a gala tonight. Important people, important causes. He won't answer."
"We'll keep trying. You're a minor. We need parental consent for treatment, and we need medical history, andā"
"I can consent," you interrupted. "Emancipated minor laws. If my guardian is unavailable and it's an emergency, I can consent to life-saving treatment. I looked it up."
You had, actually. Months ago, when you first got diagnosed and realized you were on your own. Just in case.
Dr. Kaur looked at you for a long moment, something sad and angry warring in her expression. "You're sixteen," she repeated, softer this time. "You should not have to know those laws."
"Yeah, well." You tried to shrug, but moving hurt. "Here we are."
"Here we are," she echoed. She pulled out a tablet, started pulling up screens. "All right. Let me tell you what's happening. Your heart is functioning at about thirty percent capacity. That's dangerously low. We've started you on IV medications to help support your heart function, and we're running tests to determine the full extent of the damage. But I need to be honest with youāthis is very serious. You should have been in treatment months ago."
"I was trying," you said, and hated how defensive you sounded. "I went to a clinic. Got diagnosed. Got medication. I was taking it. I justāran out."
"Why didn't you get a refill?"
Because you were alone. Because you had no money. Because asking for help meant admitting how bad things were, and you'd been so sure you could handle it yourself.
Because you were tired of being a burden no one wanted to carry.
"Complicated," you said finally.
Dr. Kaur's eyes were too understanding. "I'm going to keep trying to reach your family. In the meantime, is there anyone else we can call? Other family members? Friends?"
Your friends. God, your friends. You were supposed to be at Dani's house right now, eating tamales and watching movies. They were probably wondering where you were.
"My phone," you said. "Where's my phone?"
"The paramedics brought your belongings. Hold on." She stepped away, returned with a plastic bag containing your waterlogged phone, your wallet, your keys. The phone screen was more crack than glass now, but when you pressed the button, it miraculously turned on.
Seventeen missed calls. Thirty-four texts.
Dani: where are you???
Marco: yo you were supposed to be here an hour ago
Jas: this isn't funny anymore. call us back
Dani: im actually worried now. please respond
Marco: if youre dead im going to kill you
Jas: we're calling the police
Dani: no wait marco found your location. your phones at gotham general. WHAT THE HELL
All three: OMW
The last text was from fifteen minutes ago.
"My friends are coming," you told Dr. Kaur. Your voice cracked. "They'reāthey'll be here soon."
"Good. That's good." She made a note on her tablet. "I'll let the nurse know to send them back when they arrive. But sweetie, we really do need to reach your father. There are decisions that need to be made, andā"
"He won't come." You said it with certainty, with the weight of sixteen years of evidence. "You can keep calling. But he won't come. Not for me."
"Let's try one more time." Dr. Kaur pulled out her phone, dialed the number the hospital had on file. You could hear it ringing on speaker.
One ring. Two. Three. Four.
"You've reached Bruce Wayneā"
She hung up, tried another number. "Is there an alternate contact? An assistant, maybe?"
"Alfred Pennyworth. He'sā" What was Alfred, exactly? Butler felt reductive. Guardian felt inaccurate. "He takes care of things at the house. He might answer."
You didn't have Alfred's number. You'd never needed it. But Dr. Kaur got it from the hospital recordsāapparently it was listed as an emergency contact, which was more than Bruce had managedāand dialed.
It rang once before a familiar, cultured voice answered. "Pennyworth speaking."
"Mr. Pennyworth, this is Dr. Kaur at Gotham General Hospital. I'm calling aboutā" She glanced at you, and you nodded. "About yourāabout Miss Wayne. She's been admitted with a cardiac emergency."
There was a beat of silence. Then: "I beg your pardon?"
"She collapsed earlier today. She's stable now, but her condition is very serious. We've been trying to reach Mr. Wayne, butā"
"He's at the gala. They all are. I'llāgive me ten minutes. I'm on my way."
He hung up. Dr. Kaur looked at you. "He's coming."
"Yeah." You felt something loosen in your chest. Alfred was coming. It wasn't the same as your father, wasn't the same as the family you'd wanted your whole life, but it was something. "He's good like that."
"I'll be back to check on you in a bit. Try to rest." She paused at the curtain. "Your friends are lucky to have you. I hope you know that."
"I'm lucky to have them," you corrected.
She smiled, sad and knowing, and left you alone with the beeping machines and your failing heart.
You closed your eyes, just for a moment.
You woke to the sound of barely contained panic.
"ājust found her like this? On a bench? In the rain? What the actual fuckā"
"Marco, you need to calm down, they're going to kick us outā"
"I don't care! She could have died! Sheā" His voice cracked. "She almost did die, Dani."
"I know. I know. But she didn't. She's okay. She'sā"
"She's awake," Jasmine said quietly, and three faces swiveled toward you.
They looked terrible. Dani's eyes were red and puffy from crying. Marco's jaw was clenched so tight you worried about his teeth. Jasmine's usual composed mask had cracked, revealing raw worry underneath.
"Hey," you said weakly.
"Hey?" Marco's voice pitched up. "Hey? You almost die and that's all you've got? 'Hey?'"
"Marcoā" Dani warned.
"No! No, she doesn't get to justā" He was pacing now, all nervous energy and unleashed fear. "We've been terrified! You sent that textājust 'help,' that's it, that's all we gotāand then nothing! Your location showed the hospital and we thoughtāwe thoughtā"
"I'm sorry," you said, and your voice broke. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."
"What happened?" Jasmine asked. She'd pulled a chair up to your bedside, was holding your hand like she was afraid you'd disappear. "The truth this time. No deflecting."
So you told them. About the diagnosis three months ago, about the medication you'd been managing alone, about running out of pills and not knowing how to get more. About trying to tell Bruce and being dismissed. About the texts from the mysterious stalker. About collapsing on a bus bench in the rain.
By the time you finished, Dani was crying again, and Marco had stopped pacing to grip the rail of your hospital bed so hard his knuckles were white.
"You should have told us," Jasmine said. Her voice was steady, but her hand was shaking. "We could have helped."
"How? You're seventeen, sixteen, and seventeen. What were you going to do?"
"Literally anything!" Marco exploded. "We could haveāI don't know, helped you pay for medication, or made you go to the doctor, or told your family, orāsomething! Anything would have been better than you handling this alone!"
"I didn't want to be a burdenā"
"A burden?" Dani's voice was sharp. "You thinkāGod, do you really think that's how we see you? As a burden?"
"You have your own problemsā"
"So? Everyone has problems! That's life! That doesn't mean you have to face everything alone!" She was crying harder now, ugly-crying in a way that would have been embarrassing in any other context. "You're our best friend. You matter. You matter so much, and the fact that you don't know that isāit'sā"
"It's fucked up," Marco finished. "It's completely fucked up. Your family doesn't see you, fine, they're emotionally constipated billionaire vigilantes, whatever. But we see you. We've always seen you."
"You're not invisible to us," Jasmine added quietly. "You never have been."
Something inside you broke. Not your heartāthat was already broken, literally and figuratively. Something else. Some wall you'd built to keep yourself together, to keep the pain manageable.
You started crying, and once you started, you couldn't stop. Great, heaving sobs that made your chest hurt worse but felt necessary, like lancing a wound. All the fear and loneliness and exhaustion you'd been holding in for monthsāyears, reallyācame pouring out.
Your friends held you. Dani on one side of the bed, Jasmine on the other, Marco standing at the foot, all of them anchoring you to the world, reminding you that you weren't alone even when it felt like you were.
"I'm scared," you finally gasped out between sobs. "I'm so scared. My heart isāthey said it's really bad. And I don't know what's going to happen, and my family doesn't care, andā"
"We care," Dani said fiercely. "We care so much."
"We're not going anywhere," Marco added. "You're stuck with us."
"Even if you want to get rid of us," Jasmine said, attempting lightness. "Especially then."
You laughed, wet and messy. "I don't want to get rid of you."
"Good. Because we're going to be super annoying about this. We're talking daily check-ins, medication reminders, doctor's appointment escortsāthe works."
"You don't have toā"
"We want to," Dani interrupted. "Let us be here for you. Please."
You nodded, not trusting your voice.
A nurse poked her head in. "Sorry, visiting hours are technically over, butāoh." She took in the sceneāyou crying, your friends clustered around, all of you holding onto each other like lifelines. "I'll give you a few more minutes."
"Thank you," Jasmine said.
The nurse left, and you settled back into the terrible hospital pillows, exhausted from crying but feeling lighter somehow. Less alone.
"Did they reach your family?" Marco asked after a moment.
"Alfred's coming. He should be here soon."
"And your dad?"
"At the gala. Won't answer."
"I'm going to key his car," Marco announced.
"You don't even know which one is his."
"I'll key all of them. Every single Batmobile or whatever the hell he drives."
"That's the Batmobile," you corrected automatically. "His regular cars areā"
"Don't care. Keying them all."
Despite everything, you smiled. "I love you guys."
"We love you too," Dani said. "So much."
"Even when you're being stupid and self-sacrificing," Marco added.
"Especially then," Jasmine agreed.
You closed your eyes, feeling their presence, their warmth, their fierce protectiveness. Your family might not have shown up, but your people had.
That had to count for something.
Alfred arrived twenty minutes later, and the change in energy was immediate. He swept into your room like a force of nature, all British composure on the surface but with worry radiating from every line of his body.
"Miss," he said, and his voice was rough in a way you'd never heard before. "My dear girl."
Your friends stepped back, giving him space. He took Jasmine's vacated chair and immediately took your hand in both of his, studying your face with those sharp butler's eyes that missed nothing.
"I'm okay," you said automatically.
"You are decidedly not okay." He glanced at the monitors, at the IV in your arm, at your pale face. "How long have you been ill?"
"Three months. Diagnosed, I mean. Probably longer than that."
His expression did something complicatedāpain, guilt, anger, all carefully controlled. "And you didn't tell anyone."
"I tried. Bruceā" Your voice caught. "I tried to tell him. He was busy."
Alfred's jaw tightened. "I see."
"It's not your fault," you added quickly. "You have so much to manage. I didn't want to add to it."
"My dear child." His voice was gentle but firm. "You are never an addition to my burdens. Never. Do you understand? You are part of this family, whether they remember to act like it or not."
"They're at the gala," you said. Stating the obvious, but it felt important somehow. "All of them. Together. Being the perfect Wayne family."
"I will call them immediatelyā"
"Don't." You grabbed his hand tighter. "Please don't. Not tonight. Let them have their gala. I'll still be here tomorrow."
"This is a medical emergencyā"
"I'm stable. The doctor said so. And if you call Bruce now, he'll be angry that I interrupted his important event. He'll come because he has to, not because he wants to. I don'tā" Your voice cracked. "I don't want that. I'd rather be here with Alfred, who actually cares, than have Bruce show up out of obligation."
Alfred looked at you for a long moment, and you saw the war in his expressionāduty versus compassion, protocol versus your obvious pain.
"Very well," he said finally. "But first thing tomorrow morning, I will inform them. This cannot continue."
"Okay."
"And I will be staying here with you tonight."
"You don't have toā"
"I am staying," he repeated, in a tone that brooked no argument. "End of discussion."
You nodded, too tired to fight.
He turned to your friends, who'd been watching the exchange with interest. "And you three must be the friends she speaks so highly of."
"She speaks about us?" Marco looked surprised.
"Occasionally. Usually when she's trying to avoid discussing her own wellbeing." Alfred's expression softened. "Thank you for being there for her. For seeing her when others did not."
"She's our best friend," Dani said simply. "Of course we're here."
"Yeah, you couldn't get rid of us if you tried," Marco added.
"I have no intention of trying. In factā" Alfred pulled out his phone. "I would like your contact information, if you're comfortable sharing. Someone should know how to reach her support system."
They exchanged numbers, and you watched through heavy eyelids, feeling a weird sense of worlds colliding. Alfred and your friends, the two parts of your life that actually cared, coordinating.
Maybe tomorrow would be terrible. Maybe Bruce would show up angry or indifferent. Maybe your brothers would be uncomfortable and distant. Maybe this whole thing would just reinforce how little you mattered in the grand scheme of Wayne family dynamics.
But tonight, you had Alfred and your friends, and you were alive, and that was enough.
Dr. Kaur returned, ushering your friends out with promises that they could visit tomorrow. They hugged you goodbyeācarefully, mindful of the wires and IVsāand left with backward glances and worried expressions.
"I'll text you," Dani called from the door.
"Constantly," Marco added. "Like, annoyingly often."
"We'll coordinate a schedule," Jasmine said, ever practical.
Then they were gone, and it was just you and Alfred and the steady beep of the heart monitor.
"Rest," Alfred said, still holding your hand. "I'll be right here."
"Don't you need to get back? The galaā"
"The gala will manage without me. You will not."
You wanted to argue, but exhaustion was pulling you under. "Alfred?"
"Yes, Miss?"
"Thank you. For coming. For caring."
"Always," he said quietly. "I am sorry I didn't see this sooner. I am sorry you felt you had to face this alone."
"Not your fault."
"Perhaps. But I should have looked closer. Should have noticed. That is my failure, not yours."
You wanted to say more, wanted to absolve him of guilt he didn't deserve, but sleep was claiming you. The last thing you heard before you drifted off was Alfred's voice, quiet and determined:
"I will make this right. I promise you, my dear girl. I will make them see."
Warnings: Mentions of wounds/Violence, this chapter is mostly fluff.

Bruce Wayne is used to being the epitome of courage, but he does have fears, being one of them his own thoughts. He felt like any of these days his mind would eat the life out of him. Looking through the window, the sky was grey with clouds filled and ready to lash out the storm it was held in, in his mind the image of his blood covered daughter, her body sagging as if she had already given up on life. Throughout this all his body felt numb, from the moment he picked up her body, to asking Gordon to give the staff an excuse and prepare everything so his daughter could be admitted to the hospital and lastly handing her body to the doctors, seeing her sight vanishing through the corridors.Ā
He was mad.
It felt like fire growing on his stomach and getting hotter as close to his head it got.
I'm going to kill them.
His head was a mess. A shuffle of thoughts he would never have had in a right mind.
Damian hadn't slept, he was anxious. Not about your condition, though it was bad he knew you wouldn't die, you are a Wayne after all, and Waynes are stubborn even to death. His anxiousness came from the fact that now you were here, his only blood sibling. Despite not admitting, he loved his siblings and the dynamic between them, but Damian craved closure and bond, and now he had the opportunity to have it. Turning his eyes to his bed frame, he saw the clock marking 2AM.
The visitation starts only at 8AM⦠Tsk.
Getting up from his bed, Damian decided he was too energetic to wait without doing nothing. With everyone being in their own rooms, nobody saw when the teenager went to the kitchen and definitely didn't see how he prepared food from scratch for his sister.
āYoung Miss, What are you doing?ā
Despite Alfred's calls, you stayed there. In front of you, a big glass with Robins uniform, your eyes staring unfocused in the memorial plaque.
āI made brownies, Jay likes themā¦ā- you said eerily calm, still not looking at Pennyworth.
Bruce and Richard entered the cave quietly, both tired from a case that made them work together despite the awkward relationship. Your father was the first to notice the weird atmosphere in the place, having Alfred alerted him prior about your inability to cope with Jason's death, he could grasp what was happening there.
āI don't like this, Alfie.ā- You pointed at the plaque.- āA good soldier⦠He wasn't only a soldier, he was a good brother, a good son⦠But it seems father only values usefulness.ā
āY/Nā- His voice came like thunder, walking towards you with harsh steps.- āYou donāt get to act like you know what my child means to me.ā
Your eyes hollow and unfocused, you were under a manic episode. He knew it wasn't fair to try to argue with you at a situation like this, but your harsh words stabbed his chest with more force than he could ever admit.Ā
āI guess I don't, you never treated me like one of them to begin with.ā- The slap came fast, his hand connecting with your face with a force that wasn't supposed to hit a child but one of the many villains he fought with. Your head hitting the glass of your brother's memorial.
You felt Richard embrace your body, while Alfred yelled at Bruce. The sequence of the arguing was not registered by your brain, a few words like āI don't want her hereā and āwellness campā passing through your ears. That was how you left.
A cold hand pressed into your forehead and you unconsciously leaned into it, slowly opening your eyes and you saw Alfred fond smile. The man had spent the night there, nursing you -despite not having much to do-, he asked how you felt and at this point he didn't expect an answer. Alfred had seen a lot of things in his life, and your silence wasn't new to him, he had seen it before in soldiers too traumatized, in people that had seen things that would never get washed from their minds. So, the older man content himself in only being heard, caressing your hair while at it.
Outside the room you heard a small muttering, as if the people arguing were trying their best to keep it down. Soon Alfred approached the door and opened it, revealing Jason and a boy you didn't know, the arguing stopped when both saw Alfred with a raised eyebrow giving the boys a dirty look.
āLook at this guy Alfie, it's 6AM and he's here alone.ā- The younger one dividing his look between Alfred and Jason, occasionally sneaking a glance at you.
āYoung Master, If I am not mistaken, the hospital is open to visitations only at 8AM.ā- The boy looked like a deer caught in the headlight, his eyebrow furrowed trying to maintain a tough act.
āI just made my way in, nobody took notice of it.ā- He said like it was not a big deal, giving a sigh and shaking his head, the butler made space so the boys could enter the room.
This time, Damian directed his gaze solely to you but it ended as fast as it began, as the boy seemed a little shy from it, which took a rich laugh out of Jason and a small chuckle from Alfie. Having been caught on his rather adorable demeanour, Damian elbowed Jason's ribs with the latter one barely flinching at it.
āSo, what are you doing here, demon spawn?ā- Todd circled his way to your bed, giving a small shuffle on your hair making Damian look at him as if he had grown two more heads.
āTsk⦠I've brought foodā¦ā- He muttered, looking everywhere except his siblings and Pennyworth.- āHospital meals aren't good.ā
Bringing the pot to the nightstand, the smell filled the room.
āWell, I guess the young miss could benefit from a homemade meal.ā- Alfred said and started to adjust your bed for you to be able to sit.Ā
āIt is Mujaddara and is vegetarianā¦ā- The boy mumbled the words, barely looking at you.- āI am Damian, by the way. Iām your brother.ā- He introduced himself while pushing the dish to your lap, along with cutlery.
The smell hit your nostrils, you looked at the dish in front of you and also looked at the teenager. Damian⦠Bringing your eyes to Jason, the older sibling kept his eyes on you.
āYou can eat it, Dami is family.ā- With Jays words, your trembling hands held the spoon weakly and brought food to your mouth. On your other side, the youngest tried to keep composure, but he couldnt hide the faint flush on his cheeks.
It felt strange. You had never eaten this before and yet it tasted more like home than ever.
8AM sharp, Bruce Wayne was in front of the hospital. His expression somber as ever, the eyebags showing that the man didn't sleep at all. He was supposed to see his daughter already, but the receptionist said the doctor wanted to have a word with him. His other children left him alone and went to your room.
āMr. Wayne, first of all I would like to say, the child did not need any surgery. Fortunately her wounds were most superficial, but that doesn't mean her condition is good either. When the officer Gordon filled me with the situation, I expected something bad, but not like this.ā- The doctor sighs, frustrated.- ā The child is filled with scars, almost all of her bones have been broken and regenerated wrongly, because of that the she might need a cane to walk correctly. We are doing our best to ensure she can go home soon and while at that I think it would be wise if you could make a few modifications to receive her at home, Mr. Wayne.āĀ
Nodding at the doctor, Bruce took his time to digest the man's words. Before finishing the conversation and getting out of his office, the doctor advised him to also look for a therapist. Now the only thing for Bruce to do was to see his daughter, which had already woken up according to the nurses. His steps were slow, afraid to come face to face with the child he hurted and neglected so much.
The door to her room was open and soon her presence filled his eyes, this time not covered in blood, but almost the same as when she left the manor -except for her hair color-.
Her white hair was due to the constant stress she was under.
Looking a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people in the room, she barely noticed her father, but soon their eyes connected and the pain in his daughter's eyes was enough to break his ground. He couldn't delay anymore, reaching for her his arms held her body close, face to his shoulder while his hands caressed her hair and his lips left small pecks on her head.Ā
She is alive. She is here. My daughter. My precious daughterā¦
I donāt know if I liked this chapter, it felt kind meh. Idk

Ch.5 Skylight
....
He hasnāt felt a single thing since you disappeared.Ā
He didnāt even know if he was allowed to feel something. He had a team that depended on his good judgement and sanity to keep things in order.Ā
But right now, could he be allowed one moment of weakness?
Maybe this is something he should discuss with you. He wants to hear your opinion on this and he wants to see his sparkling, see how they are doing.Ā
But where are you?
Where is his sparkling?
He wants to see you both. He needs to. If he doesnāt then this aching in his spark wonāt ever stop.Ā
He wants to hold you, to know that you are safe. That his sparkling is still strong and growing inside of you. That it will soon come to this world and greet him.Ā
Where are you? Where is the sparkling?
Where?
Where?Ā
Where?Ā
Where?Ā
Where?
Where?
WARNING: PROCESSOR UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND LOSS. UNABLE TO KEEP ONLINE. LOCATE SPARKMATE IMMEDIATELY. SURVIVAL CODES ACTIVATED.Ā
From a distance, he can see you. Carrying his sparkling in your arms and singing lullabies to him. A field of sunflowers surrenders you. You and his sparkling bask in the light coming from the sky. Thatās exactly what the two of you were to him. The light that brightens his darkest hour.Ā
āOptimus.ā
Ratchet looks at the berth where the Prime rested. Unconscious and immobilized. His body had given up and after the groundbridge explosion and unable to locate you, he had gone into shock.
āHow is he doing?ā
āStable but in a deep sleep.ā
Arcee approached the doctor. Concern in her faceplate to watch the leader in such a state. Everyone had been able to get out of the bridge safely, the ground bridge explosion had sent them to their wished destination. But you were the only one affected. Ratchet had mentioned that due to you being an organic and the sparkling having Cybertronian features, the groundbridge wasnāt able to locate you properly, sending you somewhere else. Or maybe ā¦
No, she couldnāt think like that.
If you are gone, everything is gone. Inside you was Cybertronās first sparkling in eons, you had become a symbol of hope for everyone. Even the Decepticons, in their own twisted ways. For Optimus? He simply couldnāt live without you.Ā
āWhat are we going to do?ā
Arcee asks the medic to which he only turns to look at her.
āWhat do you want to do?ā
Ratchetās doesnāt sound hopeless but assertive. He is waiting patiently and thatās when Arcee understood what he was trying to imply.
āI canātāā
āBumblebee is too young, Bulkhead canāt think quickly and I am certainly no leader,ā Ratchet says as he looks at the Prime on his medic belt. His vital signs are steady but the signals in his processor were showing distress as if he was having a nightmare. āYou need to step up ⦠for all of us. Especially if thereās a chance they are still alive.ā
āIs there?ā
ā... Cybertronians emit unique frequencies. They are our version of human fingerprints,ā Ratchet started working on his computer, pulling files after files. Data that Arcee didnāt even bother to try and understand. āI was able to make a registry of Optimus and (Reader)ās sparkling and tried locating them using Earthās satellite and found nothing.ā
āDoes that mean ⦠theyāā
āNo,ā Ratchet says and Arceeās faceplate immediately relaxes.Ā
āI input the frequency into our database system and made a universal search. I couldnāt find anything. A sparklingās spark wouldnāt disappear into nothingness, it's pure energy. It cannot be destroyed. It would return to the Well of All Sparks and even so, I would have been able to track it.ā
āMeaning?ā Arcee wished that Ratchet didnāt gave out so many explanations but even she knew she had to listen to all of it before deciding what the next step would be.Ā
āMeaning that (Reader) and the sparkling are alive but are not in this universe. The groundbridge explosion must have sent them into another dimension.āĀ
Then, Arceeās processor started to make connections.Ā
āThen, if we input the sparklingās frequencies into the ground bridge ā¦could it take us to where they are?ā
āPossibly but we are going to need a vast source of energy to repair the groundbridge and the quantum physics to travel across dimensions will take some time to decipher.ā
āLeave the energy gathering to us,ā Arcee quickly says. The idea of dimensional travel doesnāt sound so crazy after what happened with Dreadwing. āStart the preparations. Do you need anything else?ā
āBring Rafael on the way, Iāll need an extra pair of .. hands.ā
āYou go it,ā before she left, Arcee takes another look at their Leader. Who, against all odds, always keeps pushing forward. Because he was hope reincarnated and all she could do was to follow those steps.Ā āLet us know if there are any improvements on Optimus' status.ā
āI will,ā Ratchet looks at Optimus, his old friend, so vulnerable and yet, he doesnāt give up.Ā āBut donāt expect much.ā
.
.
.
āThis is a daisy ⦠and this is a sunflower ⦠this a rose.ā
You didnāt expect to be spending so much time with Jetfire.Ā
āAnd this one?ā
āOh, thatās a mushroom, that's a totally different species.ā
Yet, here you are.Ā
You would have never figured out that Nemesis Prime had a private garden of his own. Around the size of a football field and with an open ceiling, it was your favorite place to be. You could forget for a moment your situation.Ā
It's not like Prime had you captive, he allowed you to go anywhere ⦠as long as Jetfire went with you. He had become sort of a bodyguard to you.
āI canāt believe it,ā Jetfire was in disbelief, his optics widened as a sudden realization hit him. āYou, the plants, the animals ⦠your kind cannot live without one or the other ⦠your entire ecosystem ⦠all of it is just one big creature. Everything is connected.ā
āDoesnāt Cybertron have an ecosystem?ā you ask as you sat in the grass, you gathered a couple of flowers to make flower crowns.Ā
āCybertronians are ⦠and invasive species. We can live at any place as long as there is energon we can mine,ā Jetfire looks at you with curiosity. Wondering why you would take the life of such beautiful flowers. āUnlike your species who can only live on Earth, we donāt depend on one and other to survive.ā
āIs that why ⦠Maybe Cybertronians have such a hard time creating meaningful connections?ā you ask, thinking about how even their way of speaking is formal to one and the other. āNever asking for help, living for millions of years, not having the necessity to reproduce either to continue the species ⦠kinda solitary, right?ā
āCorrect,ā Jetfireās voice is sad as much as it is gentle. āAndĀ between Cybertronians, the creation of another Cybertronian is not an easy task either.ā
āAnd yet, it was so easy for you,ā he looks at you with so much wonder and excitement. You never thought how easy it was for humans to reproduce and create new life. To Cybertronians the creation of life was a complete miracle. To you? An everyday thing.Ā āHow does it feel?ā
āWell ⦠It's actually kicking right now ⦠do you want to feel them?ā
Jetfire reaches a servo towards you. You can see that he is scared by the way he is slow and his servo trembles. Wanting to make him feel comfortable, you put a hand on his servo and guide him towards your belly.Ā
He puts the servo on your belly and waits. When suddenly he feels something move underneath him.Ā
He quickly moves his servo and moves a few inches away from you.Ā
āSorry, did it scare you?ā
āA little ⦠I understand now why Nemesis wants you guarded all the time. You are too valuable. If the wrong individuals were to find out, they will try to capture and keep you and the sparkling for their own benefit.ā
This sparks your curiosity and from making your flower-crown, you look at Jetfire.Ā
āWait, wrong individuals? I thought the war was over.ā
āMy apologies, I have spoken too much.ā
āNo, youāā
Out of nowhere, Jetfire receives a call from his comm-link and quickly answers. You wished you could hear what he has been told but by the look on Jetfire's face, it must be a call from Nemesis Prime.Ā
āUnderstood,āJetfire finishes the call and looks back at you. āPrime wishes to see you. He has requested that you shower and use luxurious fabrics to decorate your body.ā
āHe wants me to get dressed? Do you know why?ā
āNot certain,ā he says. āBut do not worry, I donāt think Nemesis would want to procreate with you while you are still with sparkling. Although I am sure he is making his preparations for after you give ... birth.ā
āHe wants another sparkling?ā You didnāt want to show your real emotions. You tried to act as calmly as possible but the thought that you might have to bed Nemesis scared you. He was Optimus but it wasnāt your Optimus.Ā
āWell yes, everyone wants you to have as many sparklings as possible,ā From curious, Jetfireās voice now sounded optimistic.Ā āWe havenāt seen a sparkling in millenia, so everyone is excited. It has lifted our morale.ā
āOh so thatās what you want me to do? Breed me like a cow until I am no longer of use?ā
āWhat is a cow?ā
You sigh heavily.
ā¦
Itās been a long while since you took the time to dress up. It was hard and you had many questions. Where did Nemesis get all of this fabrics from? And did he expect you to just wrap them around your body? From what you knew, fabrics in Cybertron were rare. Only those in the high class could afford buying fabrics and only wore them around certain parts of their bodies.Ā
So you tried your best to wear the fabric around your body, the white silk wrapped across your curves and you feel like a Roman. But thankful for wearing something clean. You feel your sparkling move inside you, probably sharing your happiness.Ā
āExcited to eat Energon, little one?ā you ask your sparkling as you rub your belly. āI just hope I get to eat some human food. I donāt think I can live off Energon.ā
Now you sit at a large table.Ā
Waiting for Nemesis to show up. Trembling hands and feeling cold. You didnāt know what to expect.Ā
You couldnāt believe that there exists a version of Optimus that lost the Matrix of Leadership by merit. That he didnāt care about this planet and its inhabitants. To the point that it can no longer host humans?
What kind of evil monster ⦠is Nemesis Prime?
And what kind of thing was able to break the unbreakable Optimus Prime?
The doors of the main room open only to reveal the one you were thinking of.Ā
Standing tall and carrying a silver tray. He walks towards you. You didnāt break eye contact, feeling that he will attack you the moment you take your eyes away from him. Noticing your discomfort, Nemesis began to walk slower.Ā
He makes sure to be close enough to you and delicately puts the silver tray in front of you.Ā
Nemesis didnāt mass-shift, still standing at, around 32 feet tall. Yet his movements were all measured. As to not scare or harm you. He takes a few steps back, giving you space to finally guarantee you some sense of safety so you could take a look at the tray before you.
It was kinda like a charcuterie board. With many fruits and vegetables. Edible plants and breads. A tray that was too big for you and definitely something that you will never be able to finish eating even if you had three extra lives.Ā
Your mouth waters and a part of you wanted to jump and start eating to your heartās content.Ā
āI made it myself.ā
He finally spoke to you.
And the shock was so great that you stopped your actions and immediately looked back at him.Ā
āMy apologies, I shouldnāt have spoken.ā
Nemesis looks down, his optics showed something but what you only thought would be embarrassment.Ā
āI am thankful that you have finally decided to speak to me,ā you say, trying to be gentle with your words. Although it wasnāt your Optimus, you had missed his voice. āCould you please ⦠get closer to me?ā
You couldnāt be scared forever and you knew that if you wanted to make any progress, you needed him to get on his good side. That was the only way you could get back to your dimension.Ā
Nemesis does as he is told and slowly gets closer to you. You can tell that he is nervous by the way his optics try to look at you but suddenly looks away.Ā
But this time he is more courageous and dares to look at you longer. He analyzes your body and in his collected data, he identifies a peculiar sound. Two heart beats. One belonging to you and the other sounding similar to a spark.Ā
It was constant, gentle, kind. His sparkling was alive. You were alive.Ā
Nemesis lets out a heavy ex-vent, his voice glitched as he released his breath of pure relief.Ā
āI had prayed and dreamt of this moment. Are you certain that this is not an illusion? A dream perhaps?ā
āI am very much real.ā
āYou have to be,ā he says. āOtherwise Iāll kill whoever dares to wake me up.ā
āYou are very different from my Optimus,ā you thought how the word ākillā would never come out of intake. āHe wouldn't dare to say something like that.ā
āYou donāt belong to him anymore. The past shall not repeat itself by endorsing foolish ideologies of the past.ā
āI never thought your ideologies were foolish,ā you say, not breaking eye contact. āI loved that about you.ā
āLoved?ā His voice glitched and for a moment you saw him again. Deep down on his yellow optics, he was there.Ā
āMy Optimus and I are not on the best of terms. He had broken up with me and then a lot of things happened. MECH was looking for me so I decided to stay with the rest of the Autobots until the baby is born. Iāll be relocated to a new place when the sparkling is here.ā
āIt ⦠hasnāt happened yet.āĀ
āI am sorry?ā
āMy apologies, I am just talking to myself,ā Nemesis breaks eye contact and then points at your silver platter.Ā āPlease enjoy your meal. I wish for our sparkling to grow strong.ā
Feeling like the atmosphere was calmer, you decided to switch the topic to a more intimate one.Ā
āJetfire mentioned that you would like to have more sparklings,ā you didnāt know how long youāll be here so you had to ensure your safety. But you had to be smart about it.Ā
āYes, when the time is right.ā
āI donāt want to,ā you simply say.Ā āI donāt want to be here just for that.ā
āI shall never do something you do not wish,ā there was desperation in his voice. Something that looks odd coming from such an intimidated mech.Ā āIf you so wish, Iāll even swear to never speak another word to you. Your wishes are my sole reason for existence.āĀ
āJust please, allow me to be the one to full-fill every single of your needs and wants. That shall be enough for me. Allow me to be yours and please be mine.ā
You have to be a fool to fall for words like that.Ā
And oh,how stupid you are.
You take a moment to look at him. His blue and red paint had rusted away. Only leaving black and grey colors. He had stopped caring for his appearance and you can tell by the amount of dent and scratches on his body. His broken windows and his battlemask that he wasnāt taken off.Ā
You wonder if it's uncomfortable for him and you also want to see him. All of him.
āCan I see your faceplate?ā
And then ⦠An explosion.
Debris everywhere. Nemesis used his entire body to protect you from the falling ceiling and yet you were still dizzy. Disoriented. The magnitude of the bomb was that enough to hurt any Cybertronian.Ā
Nemesis falls to the ground, his injuries were too big for him to withstand.Ā
You couldnāt do anything when a figure came down and grabbed you by the waist. Taking you away as Nemesis stretched out an arm towards you, his pleading optics begged for you to be returned to him. Only for his injuries to get the best of him and make him succumb to his pain.Ā
You closed your eyes, your body unable to stay awake.
.
.
.
You wake up only to find humans looking down on you.
ForĀ a moment you were thankful. Seeing humans meant that you were back home, right? Maybe everything was just a bad dream.
āSebastian, run analysis.ā
A human male quickly gets close to you. His human eyes suddenly turned blue. Similar to that of a Cybertronian. This took you off guard, and immediately you backed away.Ā
Seeing your reaction, a female human grabs him by the arm and pulls him back. She looks at you tenderly.Ā
āItās alright, you are safe now,ā she says. āSebastian just wants to make sure you or your sparklings donāt have any injuries.āĀ
Her gentle voice calms you down, but unconsciously places a hand on your belly.Ā Sebastian, learning from his previous mistake, kept a more comfortable distance. His blue eyes let out a scan light, your body basked on it. It did you no harm.Ā
āThe sparkling is healthy but she is malnourished. Pure organics canāt live off Energon. I recommend giving her a proper meal.ā
āMaya, could you prepare her something?āĀ
Another male asks. He stands in front of you and everyone looks around him.Ā
āCopy that, boss,ā Maya stands up before giving you a smile.Ā
The male, who seemed to be the leader of the group, stands up as well.Ā
āAlright, letās get back to work,ā he says. āIāll take it from here.ā
.
.
.
The base was hidden in a cave, on top of a mountain where a waterfall covered the entrance.Ā
There was as much metal as there was organic materials. With walls made with nails and steel, and flowers where bees were free to feed from.Ā
But what surprised you the most, was them.Ā
These humans were not completely human.Ā
āYou werenāt the only one who had a relationship with a Cybertronian.ā
You had yet to ask his name but from what you could tell, everyone respected him. He is the captain of whatever movement this was.Ā
āAfter Nemesis Prime called the rest of Cybertronians to come to Earth to conquer it, many formed sentimental relationships with other humans.ā
The two of you passed by a station, Sebastian was ārepairingā the hand of another human. His entire hand, made of circuits, bols and metal but the rest of his body was made out of bone and flesh.Ā
āThatās Sebastian, designation, Bluewind,ā the boss waves to the two and they return the gesture. āHe is our medic, his mother was one of the few Cybetronian nurses. His father was a pilot.āĀ
āThe other guy sitting down is Malik, designation, MoonBlazer,āĀ
You noticed how Malik turned his hand into a modern, alien-like gun.Ā
āOur weapon expert. His mother was a farmer and his father a Cybertronian smith.āĀ
You had many questions. But you waited for the leader to finish talking, to first explain his position.
He shows you another section. A woman with scientificĀ tools and strange liquids in her section. Her table was filled with books and notebooks, written in a language you couldnāt read. Plants all around her and even some insects.Ā
āThis is Shadi, designation RoseStorm, our scientist,ā the leader points at a green liquid on her desk. āSheās trying to create some type of synthetic-energon. We donāt really need it since we can also eat organic food but it will create a great negotiation with the other side if she does pull it off.ā
āWhy are you showing me all of this?ā You finally dare to ask, no longer having the patient even though you enjoyed the introductions.Ā
āBecause we are The Resistance and you are a very valuable asset to our cause,ā he says.Ā āWe have a few Cybertronians on our side, one of them being JetFire.ā
Jetfireās name made you remember the time spent with him. He had always been kind to you and there was always a curious aura around him. He treated you delicately and the way he discussed nature made you wonder what kind of bot was Jetfire before the war. You can see him as a scientist, always curious, always wanting to learn more.
āHe had been loyal to Nemesis all this time until he met you,ā the leader's voice is strong and somehow still gentle. Although it didnāt sound mature, you didnāt expect it to be, after all, he looked to be young.Ā āHe contacted us and told us about your situation. Groundbringe explosion, interdimensional time-travel, you carrying the sparkling of Nemesis Primeāā
āOptimus Prime is the father of my child,ā you immediately cut him off.Ā āNot Nemesis.ā
āWell, Nemesis is what he is now, and he destroyed this world, to the point that it's no longer habitable for humans.ā
There was a sharp pain in your heart. He reminded you of the harsh truth and yet you didnāt want to accept it. You couldnāt believe nor wanted to. Your Optimus, had become that which he hated. And yet, on Nemesis yellow optics, you can see a faint light of who he used to be.
āBut you guys are here.ā
āWe are not completely human,ā the leader looks around and so you do. Noticing how everyone used their transforming abilities to accomplish their jobs. āWe are hybrids. We age slowly like Cybertronians do. Some can transform certain parts of their bodies. Some more than others. And others like me ā¦ā
He makes a pause and puts a hand on his chest.
āWe canāt transform at all,ā he says.Ā āNemesis Prime took my transformation cog the day I was born.ā
You will never fully know that feeling. There was a time when Bumblebee was unable to transform for a couple of days. He described it as feeling empty. Like a void. Like you know you are born to do something. One simple thing. But you canāt. Its like having a constant craving to draw but you are unable to pick up a pencil.Ā
āWeāve been attacking from the shadows, gathering our strength but eventually, weāll show ourselves to the rest of the world.ā
And now, Jetfireās words made sense. The war wasnāt over but it had just started it.Ā
āNow that you are here, it is our time to rise up.āĀ
Unconsciously, his words ran a shiver down your spine. Strong enough that you were sure your sparkling felt it.Ā
āWhat are you planning?ā
āNemesisā dismantlement and governmental surrounder. Right now, I am sure he has his entire Army looking for you. This is the perfect moment to strike. If we take Icon City, we can sneak into the Hall of Records.ā
āAnd thatās important becauseā¦?ā
āBecause there we can find the location of the AllSpark,ā he simply says as he walks towards another station. You follow closely, wanting to hear more about his plan.Ā āAnd if we find where Nemesis is hiding it, weāll have all of New Cybertron at our disposal.āĀ
āAnd after that, weāll help you get back to your dimension,ā he reaches a desk where he picks up a cowboy hat. Now that you take a closer look at him, he doesnāt have a fashion sense at all. None of them do. Itās not like you could blame them, they donāt have any idea of how humans used to dress.Ā
Ā āYou donāt hold any responsibility for Nemesis actions nor does your sparkling.ā
You stay quiet and look around you one more time. Everything looks so alien to you. It feels off, you know you donāt belong here but you are afraid of how long you have to stay. Your mind drifts to your friends. Are they worried? Is Optimus going crazy? How will you even get back?
āMy father used to tell me stories of how great Optimus Prime used to be,ā his voice breaks your thoughts, it was comforting.Ā āSo I am glad that in another dimension, he has his happy ending with you.ā
You are curious about him. Wondering about the story of the cogless boy that became leader of the resistance.Ā
āWho was your father, if I can ask?ā
āOh, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I am the son of Megatron, Leader of the Resistance,ā he says as he puts on the cowboy hat.Ā
āMy human name is Sam, designation, Skylight.ā

Answering Questions you all may have:Ā
Why do the Cybertronians stay on Earth if they have the AllSpark?
Earth has the biggest source of Energon in the galaxy, however, Nemesis knows it wonāt last forever, they have to expand eventually. The AllSpark, is what creates new Cybertronian Life. But in this fanfic canon, the AllSpark can also take lives. Nemesis plans to build a weapon of destruction by using the AllSpark in which he would be able to destroy organic lives in an instant without suffering.Ā But this idea is still in the works.Ā
Cybertron can never be habitable again due that the Matrix of Leadership is gone and is needed for the production of Energon.Ā
How come Megatron is Samās father if in Nemesisā letter, he admitted to killing Megatron?
While Optimus was going on a rampage, Ratchet was able to resuscitate Megatron. (Since the letter to himself was written from his point of view, this wasnāt mentioned) Ratchet tells Megatron to leave and disappear. But as he was to leave the MECH building, he heard the sad chirping of a sparkling. Left in an ammunition box (Probably left behind by a human nurse who felt pity for the baby and wanted to save him from dissection.) And when Megatron picked up the baby, he noticed his transformation cog had been missing.Ā
Meg thought he had given Optimus the sparklingās spark chamber but turns out, he actually gave him his transformation cog! He was the first human-cybertronian sparkling so his anatomy was completely different. This one didnāt have a spark but a heart.Ā
Megs thought of returning the sparkling to Optimus but seeing that Optimus was drowning in madness and grief, he didnāt want the sparkling growing up nor seeing his father like that. So he took him under his wing. (I should written a chapter about this with Megās POV but its too late for that now lol)
This is why Sam sees Megatron as his father figure ⦠Megs disappearance is surrounded in mystery.Ā
And yes, Sam is Optimus and Readerās sparkling.
ā¦ā¦.
⦠If any of y'all have any more questions, let me know! Honestly, and I mean this seriously, DO NOT expect any kind of well-thought writing in this fic. This was supposed to be a one-shot fanfiction that got turned into a multi-chapter fic due to popular demand. And this is the fic I least worry about. I think it has good ideas and has the potential for more but I definitely donāt have the patience nor time.Ā
So, this story will conclude in the next chapter ⦠at MAX, in two.Ā
Now, I have two possible endings for this fic and I want you guys to help me out on deciding which ending I should go for.Ā
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD, DO NOT READ ONLY IF YOU WANT TO HELP ME OUT TO FIGURE OUT THE ENDING!!!!!
Ending 1: Nemesis realizes his wrong doings and makes the ultimate sacrifice. He is given the ultimatum. Save the world or let his son (Sam) die. Nemesis chooses to save the world and Sam dies, proving once again that he is worthy of the Matrix of Leadership. He accepts the burden and he will atone his sins by continuing living by doing whatās good until the day of his days.
Optimus and Reader return to their dimension and they live happily ever after.Ā
Ending 2: Sam makes a sacrifice and he is given the Matrix of leadership. Along with Optimus, he defeats Nemesis. But they let him live. After learning that Sam is his son and that Nemesis almost kills him, Nemesis sacrifices himself to save the world. Ending the story. Finally fulfilling your dying wish ⦠to protect your sparkling.Ā
Optimus and Reader return to their dimension and they love happily ever after.Ā
Which one do you all prefer or anyone got better ideas?
END OF SPOILERS!!!

Request: Coriolanus snow x fem reader: itās when the attacks happen the reader gets hit and becomes unconscious but instead of snow looking for her (his gf?) he more worried about Lucy gray and he doesnāt realize that the reader is their next to him in the wing until after he knows Lucy is okay. Maybe the reader is in a very bad condition and had to undergo a surgery.
Pairing: Coriolanus Snow x Fem!reader, Coriolanus snow x Lucy Gray
The arena was supposed to be magnificent. A grand display of Capitol ingenuity, a carefully designed battleground for the spectacle that would begin tomorrow. Coriolanus had walked its perimeter with quiet satisfaction, taking in the towering structures, the hidden traps, the layout that would decide the fate of the tributesāand, in many ways, his own.
The mentors had been given this final chance to inspect the space before the Games began, an opportunity to strategize, to prepare their tributes for what was to come. He had moved through the arena with purpose, eyes sharp, mind already working through every possible scenario that could unfold.
And you had been there, walking just a few paces ahead, your attention locked on your own tribute. The District 7 girl was, forgettable to most. Maybe a year or two younger than yourself, and the girl had found herself unable to stop crying.Ā
Though despite this rather obnoxious roadblock, you had taken your role seriously, whispering something to her in hushed tones, offering reassurances Coriolanus doubted would matter once the bloodbath began.
He had watched you, distracted for a moment by the sight of you in deep focus. Her eyes moving around the arena to try and come up with some plan for your tribute. With some plan to get her to survive and win. You were always so determined, so certain of yourself when it came to these things.
You caught him staring and raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of your lips. āAdmiring the competition, Snow?ā
He scoffed, rolling his eyes, but there was something playful in his voice when he responded, āHardly. Just wondering how you plan to keep her alive when she looks like sheāll be the first to fall.ā
Your smirk widened. āOh, sheās tougher than she looks.ā
That confidence, that unwavering belief, was something he had always found⦠compelling about you.
And yet, his mind was elsewhere.Ā AlwaysĀ elsewhere.
His gaze flickered to Lucy Gray. She was a little farther away, tracing her fingers lightly over the rough edges of the arena walls, humming something under her breath. Coriolanus clenched his jaw. He needed her to survive. She was his tribute. His way forward. His future.
A future that had no room for failure.
Then, the world shattered.
Coriolanus Snow stood frozen amidst the chaos, his heart pounding wildly in his chest as smoke and dust filled the air, stinging his eyes and burning his throat. The world around him was a blur of destruction, the crumbling remnants of what had once been a pristine arena.Ā
What was meant to be an ordinary scouting mission of strategy had turned into something far worse. His mind raced, but everything felt heavy, slow, as if he were trapped in a nightmare.
It had all gone wrong so quickly.
Coriolanusās breath left him as the explosion rocked the arena, tearing apart the walls, shaking the very ground beneath his feet. Rebel activity, he thought. It had to be. His mind struggled to make sense of it, but the ringing in his ears drowned out everything.
The Capitol had never been prepared for this. This wasnāt just a Gameāit was something far darker, far more violent. Rebel bombs had torn through the arena, and the deafening sounds of explosions still echoed through his skull, each blast another reminder of the destruction.
The screams of tributes and mentors filled the air, a cacophony of terror. The acrid stench of burning flesh mixed with smoke, overwhelming his senses, turning his stomach.
He stood motionless for a moment, his gaze scanning the devastation, trying to find something familiar, someoneāanyoneāalive. His chest tightened, panic rising within him, squeezing the breath from his lungs.Ā Where are you?
His eyes darted over the ruins. His heart pounded so loudly in his ears that it drowned out the sounds of chaos. Dust and debris clouded everything, but thenāthere, amidst the rubbleāhe saw you.
You, the girl he loved.
A chunk of concrete had struck your head in the explosion, and another piece pinned you to the ground. Your body lay motionless in the wreckage, blood pooling beneath you, staining the earth. Your chest rising and falling in short shallow breaths.
The sight of it made his heart stop. His breath caught in his throat, and for a moment, the world around him seemed to vanish.
No. Not you.
His legs felt weak as he stumbled forward, but before he could reach you, his name was called.
āCoriolanus!ā
He whipped his head toward the sound. It was Lucy Gray, his tribute. She was trapped beneath a heavy beam, her face twisted in pain, but her eyesāthey were wide, frantic, desperate, looking directly at him.
Lucy Gray needed him. She needed him alive, she needed his help, andĀ heĀ needed her. Everything, his future, his plansāthey all depended on her surviving this. She was the one who could carry him to victory in the Games. She was the one who would secure his place in the Capitolās grand design.
His heart stuttered in his chest. Lucy Gray was alive.
But youā¦Ā His eyes flickered back to you, and for a moment, everything in his body screamed to go to you.Ā You were the one who mattered. You were his world. Youā¦
But there was no time. The explosions were still echoing in the distance, the arena was collapsing, and Lucy Gray needed him. He couldnāt think. He couldnāt hesitate.
In an instant, he made his decision. He turned from you and rushed toward Lucy Gray, his breath coming in sharp, shallow gasps.
His hands grabbed the beam pinning her leg. His muscles screamed as he heaved, pulling, fighting against the weight of the debris. His mind raced, his body strained against the growing panic and fear.
āHold still,ā he commanded, his voice more forceful than he felt, though it quivered slightly. Lucy Grayās eyes met his, silently acknowledging his presence, her gratitude shimmering through her pain. She didnāt cry out as he slowly lifted the beam, inch by inch, her breath shallow but steady.
When the beam finally came free, Lucy Gray wobbled but didnāt fall. She still couldnāt stand on her own, but she was alive. She was breathing.
Coriolanusās heart hammered in his chest as he helped her to her feet, steadying her against him. She leaned into him, her head tilting back slightly, her eyes half-lidded, but her grip was firm. She whispered a quiet, āThank you,ā her voice soft but laced with something much more powerfulāgratitude, reliance.
His chest tightened, the weight of his actions pressing down on him. He had made his choice, and though part of him ached, he couldnāt focus on that now. He had to survive. They had to get out of here.
He turned, helping Lucy Gray limp through the wreckage, but as they moved, his eyes flickered back toward you. He hadnāt forgotten youānot entirely. His heart ached, his mind tortured by the image of you, lying there, blood staining the ground. But the explosion was still ringing in his ears. He had to keep moving.
Then, the ground beneath them trembled once more.
Another bomb.
The force of the blast threw Coriolanus and Lucy Gray apart. He hit the ground hard, his body slamming into the dirt with a sickening thud. His vision blurred, the edges of the world darkening. A heavy piece of concrete landed on him, pinning him down, the heat of it searing through his skin. Metal rods from the shattered arena pierced through the rubble, burning against his body.
āLucy Gray!ā he shouted hoarsely, though his voice was barely more than a whisper beneath the increasing roar of chaos around him. He wasnāt sure if she could hear him, but he had to try.
Through the thick smoke and swirling dust, he caught sight of herājust a flash of that rainbow dress she woreāmoving toward him. She was limping, struggling, but she was coming.
But everything else blurred as the pain in his head intensified. He couldnāt focus. He didnāt know if it was the blood rushing to his brain or the bombās force, but his vision swam, his head spinning, and everything around him seemed to slip away.
Lucy Gray was reaching for him, her hands shaking as she tried to pull the concrete off. Her hands, torn and bloodied, failed to move the heavy wreckage, and Coriolanus could see the desperation in her eyes. But before she could try again, a Peacekeeper appeared, pulling her away from him.
āCoriolanus!ā she shouted as they dragged her back, but the sound of her voice faded as everything around him went dark.
āāā§āāāāāāā§āā
When Coriolanus woke, the world felt distant, hazy. His head throbbed, his limbs ached, and his vision swam as he tried to focus. The sterile scent of antiseptic filled his nose, mingling with the rhythmic beeping of monitors. Everything was too bright, too sharp, yet his mind was dulled, struggling to piece together what had happened.
āHeās awake,ā a voice murmured, familiar yet strained.
Blinking against the harsh fluorescent lights, his gaze landed on Sejanus, who stood at his bedside, his face drawn with worry but tinged with relief. Just beyond him, his cousin Tigris sat stiffly in a chair, her usual composed demeanor softened by something unreadable in her expression.
Coriolanus swallowed, his throat dry and raw. āWhereā¦ā His voice cracked, the words foreign on his tongue. He tried again. āWhere am I?ā
āThe Capitolās medical wing,ā Sejanus answered gently. āYou were caught in the explosion. A piece of concrete hit you. Youāre lucky to be alive.ā
The explosion. The arena. The rebels. It all came back in fragmentsāfire and smoke, screaming voices, the ground shaking beneath him. Lucy Gray. His heart stuttered, his thoughts sharpening with sudden urgency.
āLucy Gray,ā he rasped. āLucy Gray, is she⦠is she alive? Is she alright?ā
Tigris gave a small nod, her expression solemn. āSheās fine. A few bruises it seems nothing serious. Look,ā she said, nodding to the tv mounted on the wall.
And as Coryo looked to the tv, there she was, his tribute. His songbird, Lucy Gray, singing to the Capital. The last efforts to get sponsors for the games.
She was alright. She was alive. She could still win.
Relief flooded through him, loosening the tightness in his chest. The words echoed in his mind, steadying him. But something still felt off. There was an unease curling in his stomach, a gap in his memory that made his skin prickle.
His brows furrowed. āAnd⦠the others?ā He glanced between Sejanus and Tigris, searching for somethingāhe wasnāt sure what.
Sejanus hesitated, shifting uncomfortably. His gaze flickered away for a brief moment before he met Coriolanusās eyes again. āCoryo,ā he said slowly, carefully. āYou donāt remember?ā
The confusion deepened. āRemember what?ā
A heavy silence hung between them before Sejanus sighed. āY/Nā¦ā he said quietly. āShe was with you when the explosion hit the first time,ā
The words sent a strange jolt through Coriolanusās chest. His lips parted slightly, but he said nothing.
āSheās just two beds over,ā Tigris cut in, āShe made it, but⦠she was hurt. Badly.ā
Coriolanus turned his head slightly, but the motion made his vision tilt. He couldnāt see past the curtain dividing his bed from the next. His mind scrambled for the last clear image he had of you.
Then it hit himāyou, lying motionless in the dirt, blood pooling beneath you, trapped beneath debris. He had seen you. He had almost gone to you.
Almost.
His throat tightened. āSheās alive?ā he asked, though his voice was barely more than a whisper.
Sejanus nodded, but his face was grim. āShe is. But she had severe injuries. Internal bleeding. Concussion. They needed to operateā¦ā He hesitated, his voice dropping lower. āThey donāt know if sheāll wake up. Theyāre just waiting now,ā
Something cold settled in Coriolanusās stomach, seeping into his bones. He felt⦠off-balance, like the world had shifted under his feet.
Coriolanus swallowed, his throat tightening as the weight of it all settled over him. You were fighting for your life, just a few feet away, and yetā¦
Yet, he didnāt regret it.
Guilt curled in his chest, but it wasnāt the kind that consumed him. It was distant, like an echo of something he should feel more strongly. But regret? No. He had done what heĀ hadĀ to do. Lucy Gray was his tribute. His future. His way forward. His way out of poverty and back into the good graces of Capital Society.Ā
You⦠you had been his girl. But what could he have done? He had needed Lucy Gray in that moment, needed her to survive. For both of them. For all of you.
He exhaled slowly, forcing the tightness in his chest to loosen.
Tigris was watching him closely, as if searching for something. He met her gaze and gave a small, careful nod.
āSheās strong,ā Tigris repeated, as if reminding him, āIām sure sheāll be alright, Coryo..ā
Coriolanus didnāt respond. He turned his head slightly, his gaze flickering toward the curtain that separated him from you. He didnāt move. Didnāt speak.
He had made his choice.
And he wouldnāt take it back.
Because in the end, when everything had been falling apart, he had made his choice.
summary: due to Bruce distancing himself from reading and seeing other women - batfam has to watch their mom willow away.
For the twenty-five years, Bruce and Name have been married together - Alfred has never seen Name so withdrawn - so detached . He watches every morning how Name's frail body maneuvers around the kitchen making her own breakfast -
God knows how many times he's asked that stubborn woman to allow him to cook for him but she has always refused him with a quiet smile and a wave of hand. He watches her glide around the kitchen- a woman of once poise and grace reduced to her fumbling with simply holding a cereal box.
Alfred could never pin point where it had all went wrong in their marriage - they were both high-school sweethearts- their marriage was beautiful- he'd know because he had honored it himself. To see them so distant aches his heart.
Alfred knows Bruce has a mission - to save Gotham- a mission that seems ever lasting - a mission that had consumed him entirely to the point it took him over . It took away his relationship with his kids and his own wife .
Alfred would always shoot him disapproving looks when he sees Bruce being too flirty with Talia and Selina - he blesses Name's heart for loving Damian all the same like she has with all her other kids but Alfred notices since then she is virtual never in the same place with Bruce.
She no longer goes to galas anymore , no longer makes public appearances - maybe its because Bruce always had a different arm candy every other night. It's gotten so bad that even the kids started realizing this - Damian , upon realizing his birth had broken down in Name's arms one night - pleading with her to love him - that he's sorry for being born.
Alfred remembers Name cradling the young boy in her arms all night and assuring him he's the best thing Bruce ever made and that she would never blame him for Bruce's actions. Since then - the young boy has always stuck to Name - every morning, he'd affectionately hand her daily medicine and would always help her wrap a shawl over her shoulders.
Tim and Bruce began arguing - particularly because Bruce starting leaving the massive work of W.E for Tim to handle- it came to a head one night when Name and Bruce argued for two hours straight. He remembered how raw her voice was when she yelled at Bruce for overworked her poor son - that he's young and deserves to live and experience his teenage years.
Bruce had argued that Tim had wanted this - that this was what being Robin was about. Jason- god knows Jason and Bruce doesn't get along - ever since what happened to Joker but they argue even worse when it boils down to Name .
Jason was a child primarily raised by Name - she taught him to trust and showed him everything he knew - down to ironing his shirt to tying his shoelace - Name was the mother Jason never had and God could damn for all he cares but couldn't stand to watch Bruce treat her like she was an option because she wasn't - not to him or his brothers.
Jason always made it a point to call Bruce out for his own hypocrisy, himself and Damian always teamed up against him, especially when he was being too flirty with Selina or some random eye candy.
" I suggest you back off harlot , my mother might not kill you, but I will " - Damian when Bruce and Selina were flirting together on patrol.
" I don't give a fuck if ma begs me not to put a bullet in your head , the next damn time I see you talking about her like that I won't hesitate to skin you alive " - Jason when he caught some arm candy bragging to her friends how the 'Bruce Wayne' took her out on a date in front of Name.
God if anyone argues more with Bruce in this household was Dick - Dick was their first child and a child whom lost everything and yes Bruce may of made him robin but name made him dick grayson - bless that woman's heart for having to deal with his tantrums and outbursts when he was younger -
But that woman despite not birthing him was his mother - the woman who literally hugged him everynight to go to bed , the same woman who made his suit for prom by hand and also the same woman he goes to for advice and comfort - safe to say when he heard what Bruce was doing - they argued non stop-
" For god sake, Bruce, you're destroying us - you're destroying our family, and you don't even care." - Dick when Bruce had called you useless because you couldn't walk up a stairs anymore.
Someone from the outside might think they're dramatic, but ever since Bruce started distancing himself from Name and going out with God knows who , Name has fallen into a deep depression - a type of depression that ensnared them in their deep claws and deprive them of what little happiness and energy they have left.
Most days , Name sits on a swing outside and just exists- barely eats , barely talks anymore - how can they ? How can one fathom to be happy when their own spouse is out cheating on you with different people and to make matter worse the public condones it - even more so enables him.
Always publishing some new article of which new model or actress can become worthy of being Bruce's wife as if she doesn't exist. Alfred swallows as he watches her tonight - they're sat stiffly in a velvet love seat , a faint smile on her face, Damian is resting his head on their shoulder, showing them his latest art piece while quietly talking about his day.
Behind her, jason embraces her in a backhug , head resting on her head - his hands sometimes play with the loose strands. Tim quietly sits beside her , his hand holding her free hand - now and again he'd squeeze it . Dick is sat next to Damian on the love seats' arm rest as he prepares her nightly medicine.
Even if the public and her own husband loathes her, name still has the love of her kids and Alfred as always. Suddenly, the large oak doors of the living room are pushed open - the vibrant warmth interrupted as Bruce steps inside .
Damian quiets - everyone looking at Bruce except for Name - she has taken it to state at her hands. " It's time for patrol" Bruce says grufly . No one responds but reluctantly leaves Name side , Jason side hugs her one last time before leaving .
" Yeah, whatever you say, geaser," He says as he shoves Bruce out of his way to go to the cave . Damian glares at his father , " Hopefully, things are taken seriously on this patrol " he insinuated- knowing eyes glaring right at his father disapproving.
Bruce ignores them and stares at name, " Make dinner before we leave " he orders before promptly walking away. Name says nothing - too numbed out a long while to even react. Dick and Alfred himself curses him while Tim is glaring at the closing door harshly .
" Ma I'll order us something don't stress yourself " Tim assures her while ordering Uber eats for them on his phone . Name doesn't say anything but sends him a small smile. " I can't believe I raised that boy," Alfred murmurs as he shakes his head in disappointment .
Bruce may not realize it now but it's too late to fix anything - too late to pull his wife back in and live the happy life they once had - its too late to repair their broken family since the glue that's stuck them all together is fading away .
