To see into The Future

This is a spell to allow you to gaze into a possible future. Its super simple too!

You will need:  - A Candle  - A quiet space  - Yourself  Go to your quiet space and light the candle. Close your eyes and begin to meditate, do not open your eyes. Count down from 100, with each number you slowly detach yourself more and more from your body, until it feels as though you are not even in it anymore.      Open your eyes and look at the flame (you can also look just below or above the flame), visualize a huge tree. Its trunk moving up into infinity with branches that spiral out for miles. Find your branch, and where you are on this branch. This branch will expand outwards for a long time, just find the present. Once you have, pick a direction (As in, another branch extending off of the one you have chosen), and thus a possible future. At this point, stop visualizing, and let the visions come to you.    If you fail at this, don’t sweat it, your fine. You may wish to try just before bed, or have assistance similar to flying ointment.

The absolute fucking WORST trend Americans had latched onto in the past few decades is a supposed “return to nature” movement that is literally anti-science and anti-medicine, and extremely dangerous for individuals and the general population at large. I’m not saying modern life doesn’t have its share of problems, but please, if you want to partake in some sort of “back to nature” ideal, go camping or something, don’t skip on fucking vaccinating your kids. I was born in a country that had a lot of rural areas where people didn’t have the means or resources to keep up with important medical necessities like vaccinations, and you know what usually happened? Polio. Polio happened. You know what happens to people who drink “raw water?” Cholera. Average Americans are extremely sheltered and are very, very lucky that shit like herd immunity is a thing so that their kids aren’t getting fucking smallpox in 2018 or some shit.

Part of the reason I’ve stopped sharing recipes and spells?  Because I’ve shared enough instruction and examples on here that those who have been reading along should be able to create their own.  There has to be some point where you come to the realization that each spell is catered to someone’s specific craft, be it their bioregion, their background, their tradition, or their history. The minute you start asking about substitutions, it’s because the recipe has been taken out of its original context.  Study your local flora and fauna. Get to know it and immerse yourself in it. Read your local folklore.  Take your heritage into account and their folklore. Let your tradition, if you have one, guide you.  Then craft.
