What's your opinion on teens writing taboo or dark topics as an outlet to their more extreme thoughts?

I think it’s cool. a lot of teens are out there doing drugs, having sex and getting involved in other things that are way more extreme than writing. so them indulging in creative writing is always great. doesn’t matter what they write about. creative writing is art — and art is art, no matter if it’s taboo and macabre or sunshine and rainbow. art is awesome.

Anyone else find it difficult seeing the artists you admire open up commissions and you’re trying to think of what characters and/or scenes to have them commission/draw but you’re an artist yourself and your brain says “you could do that…” “you could draw those characters…” like… thanks brain but I like THEIR art and THEIR STYLE plz pick something you want and it’s like… no. We can do it

Whumpers who casually manhandle the whumpees, as if doing so is completely natural. They don't even think twice about it. Whumpee is trying to crawl away? Oh, just grab them by the ankle and pull them back. Whumpee's head is pointed in a suspicious direction, as if looking for an escape? Pull them by the hair so their eyes are forced away. Trying to yell for help? Put them in a chokehold, without so much as a change in expression.

Just little things that reinforce the power dynamics and show how helpless Whumpee truly is. For them, it's Hell on Earth. For Whumper, it's Tuesday.

Xie Lian gets bored at the Gamblers Den. So in a bid not to bother Hua Cheng at work, he ends up becoming a beloved bartender. He makes cocktails that could kill you (they burn like fuck going down, it’s basically an endurance test). The citizens love him because he is already the unofficial granduncle of the city, but now they can actually can talk to him and see how sweet and pretty he is plus he will just chat to you about your day. He also watches the bar like the martial god he is and protects everyone at the bar and will throw people out literally by chucking guys out a window if he has too, Hua Chengzhu is also out on the floor more often to see his Gege which means ghost city gets to watch their favourite romantic soap opera play out in real life.
