Dimension 20: City Council of Darkness (2026) Episode 14: An Undead Denouement
a party of adventurers that are all equally convinced that they are in completely different forms of media
the mage keeps giving smug glances in the direction they assume a camera is in. the fighter keeps getting indignant about missing attacks because of "bad dice rolls." the rogue is doubtful that a villain is gone for good because "nobody ever stays dead in comics." the paladin attributes fortune to "good rng." none of them have even considered that "tumblr post" was an option
Serious thoughts time but can't believe the worst disassociation/depersonalization of my life so far is being caused just by the stress of dealing with an insurance company after a car accident 🫠
Vox Machina WHY would you start Season 4 out with a forced kiss 😭 Like the CR cast got the criticism of Vax just kissing Keyleth without permission so why did they have Pike do that for jokes
Nom nom nom….
This is fantastic 😂

they've already got a guy! you know it!
(based on a cover of "Go For It, Nakamura!")
Zac as Zaeth Bondana speaks to the one horse in this town
"Wow.
I'm just jealous of what you have.
A life where you can...
The path forward is a straight line.
You run, and I wish I could."
This whole monologue is presented to a Brennan who is doing his best to play a horse that isn't laughing at the comedy sniper Zac Oyama.
Something that I really like about the Barbie movie is that while there's this dialogue about how Barbieland is the real world in reverse, it's clear that the Kens don't have it as bad in Barbieland as women do in the real world. Yes, it's an unequal society which leaves Ken unsatisfied, but he doesn't face the sexual violence and danger that Barbie does in the real world. And I like it because there are so many movies or books where matriarchy is described as terrible and oppressive and just as bad as patriarchy, as if women in power would treat men the same way men have treated women for millennia. And the Barbie movie subtly interrogates that - like yes, the Kens not having power in society does block their self-realization, and it would be better for them if society was truly egalitarian, but in the meantime, they get to sit around on the beach all day and go to fun parties. Barbie under matriarchy does not wield the same oppressive power as real men in the real patriarchal world, showing that the problem with our world isn't just that men hold more political and economic power, but how they wield that power to terrorize women.
And an excellent way of doing that is to have female judges, female lawmakers, and women in the roles that involve designing the judicial process. Y’all have got to stop letting left wing men make you self-conscious about women taking positions of power; those men do not have our best interests at heart.
I said "that alone won't fix the problem." This was not some sort of uwu conciliatory post for leftist men. Like I said, you have got to deal with the violence that the patriarchy enforces and rebuild the system, not just put women in power to tweak it.
I keep seeing people call Taylor Frankie Paul's violence towards Dakota "reactive abuse" and it makes me... uncomfortable. It has the same vibes as a man hitting his wife for "mouthing off."
Dakota is manipulative and scummy to women. But if Taylor is the one who escalated the violence, is that really reactive abuse?? Especially since she literally could at any point stop entertaining his nonsense.
Actually allow me a moment of being a vocally decolonialist Jewish person on the side blog.
I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but question or recoil at the idea of landback in the United States.
I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but do not engage with and support their local Native and Indigenous communities.
I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but question the idea of granting Hawai'i, Puerto Rico, and US occupied land in the Caribbean sovereignty. Who go on vacation to the "US Virgin Islands" and Hawai'i.
I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but ignore the way our government actively starves and kills the people who live on reservations.
I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but do not think about repairing the damage done by our own genocides, our own ethnic cleansings, on the land we currently reside on.
If you are a non-Native, American goyim who claims the title of antizionist can you name the peoples who stewarded the land you live on before settler colonialism murdered and displaced them?
Israel's ethnostate and genocide against the Palestinian people needs to end. Palestinians deserve peace, and prosperity, and reparations for the atrocities committed against them. But have you also looked in your own backyard recently? Because you are actively living in Isreal's end goal.
Wipe out the "inconveniences" and "prosper" for so long your own descendants hardly feel the aftermath beyond the "boons" while the descendants of the people you attempted to wipe out struggle and suffer under the effects of your colonization for centuries.
Question and rally against your own government's homegrown atrocities too because if you're not, you might just be looking for a convenient avenue for your own antisemitism instead of being genuinely anti-colonialist. If you really were against settler colonialism and the long term effects of genocide and ethnic cleansing you'd be rallying behind your Native neighbors too.
The comma between non-Native and American is intentional. I do not mean "non-Native American" as one adjective — they are two separate adjectives I am using to describe one particular kind of goyim.
Antizionism is not inherently antisemitic but treating Zionism as the sole cause for all the world's ills is dubious.
Zionism is a 19th century invention and imperialism, racism, and xenophobia existed long before it and will exist long after Palestine is free. Some folks would do well to remember that.
