Tol is choosing to enter a time loop for the sake of his love of Tin. He is choosing to step into a fate that many would consider worse than death in order to not just save the one he loves but to create their love in the first place. He is taking the weight that Tin has carried onto his shoulders and he only knows part of the issues that are in his way, only the very surface of what haunts the dreams of his lover. But he knows that he must take this on himself for the sake of their love and he will do anything for that love. Even if it means watching Tin die again and again, even if means dying again and again.

Tol is making a choice that Tin never got to make. Tol is taking by choice what was forced onto Tin, he is reaching out with both hands to grab this chance at love no matter what kind of pain it might mean, no matter how trapped he may be.

Tol is choosing love, Tol is choosing Tin, Tol is choosing them over any future he might have had.
