vesper comes from an alternate reality, but since infancy, they've been raised in a literal sentient void, a strange pitch black dimension called hestra. since their extraterrestrial horror of a mom accidentally tore the matter of her form open, vesper fell out... and crash landed into the sonic world.

despite having some cryptic knowledge that is hard to put into words, vesper is curious about all the things mundane, with a particular special interest in meteorology ("it never rains where i come from!"). they make very little sense of gravity and social cues, and accidentally catching other people's "loud" thoughts doesn't help. they sometimes forget people can't read their mind! even so, vesper is determined to use the powers borrowed from their void-mom to help overcome any challenges that come ahead.

i was SO pissed off that earthspark character heights are not listed like. anywhere. NOT ONLY was the show's finale so jawdroppingly disappointing, but they still didn't get even estimated heights after four seasons. the showrunners just don't give a damn 😭😭

this is probably so inaccurate because i have the unfortunate curse of math dyslexia, but since i needed it for an oc fic i might as well just post it here ☠️☠️ my one contribution to the fandom since last year

holly is the son of the renowned, ruthless anarchist pirate steelbeard. and while holly lies to tells everyone how much of his father's favourite little sailor he is, he spent a year under the ship's floorboards: his father even hid his NRC admission letter from him, and left him to enroll when he had enough of having custody.

holly doesn't know one crucial detail of his origins, however: while he appears to be a magicless human, his mother (that he abandoned for the promised life at the sea...), is actually a fae. holly is also: a pathological liar, a petty thief, and an amputee (thanks, steelbeard!).

i had SO much fun drawing his casual fit. he's twisted from peter pan's captain hook, and i named him after his ship, the jolly roger. i thought it'd be funny if it was like "oh what if a tinkerbell-inspired character and a pirate had a kid and that was him", and i did it 😭😭 ☻ the dorm info template is by yuusimpy on twitter!!

bellamy is that one boy who talks to mice and bugs. he may dress a little strangely, and have his head in the clouds: but that's because he's one of the fae, and one of the godparent fairies!! since his grandmother and mozus trein have been frenemies friends, and bellamy has no other family, his late grandmother has asked for mozus to be his legal guardian. which, for bellamy, means one thing: enrolling into a school!

abhik is an anti-human activist (a polarising political view amongst beastmen), but it's borderline and hidden anthropophobia at this point. he's the type of person who bumps into the queue before a human student, calls them an evolutionary parasite, and takes their portion. he's obviously twisted from shere khan from the jungle book.

i think he'd be REALLY mean to yuu at first, especially that they're technically magicless. when making ocs i always try to make them sound and act in a way that would be organic to the canon characters in that universe, so giving twst ocs names that have the same level of making sense as "epel fermier" (apple farmer) always feels SO silly. ☻ the dorm info template is by yuusimpy on twitter!!

whimzy w. woo ‧₊˚♪

this is whimzy, and he's a transfer student from royal swords academy (which is why he wasn't assigned a proper dorm ... and has to live with yuu in ramshackle 😰😰 scary). his favourite thing to do is harmless pranks on other students, like changing his face into something scary and standing in someone's locker.

in his culture, social status is determined by just how scary insufferable your shenanigans are: that is the main reason he had to switch RSA for NRC. because the woo family isn't the scariest in the 1000 acre forest, whimzy tries to get good education to financially support them!

fun fact, he's second name is also whimzy. it's his father's name, and at home, he's called whimzy junior. he's twisted from the woozles, the de-facto antagonists in the winnie the pooh franchise!! ☻ the dorm info template is by yuusimpy on twitter!!

hello... hi... im a long time transformers fan (as in. I liked the comics and the silly little toys for a long time) and by sheer chance stumbled onto this side of tumblr and it was like all of my neurons lit up at once. didnt even know i was into half this stuff until i stumbled upon your fics.
