bj in an unbuttoned uniform… now wait a minute
i opened photoshop to gif this shot of margaret and charles because i like it a lot
but upon rewatching the scene i think this moment where she shoves him so abruptly his coffee spills is more important
not immune to bj arm OR bj back
new shipping trope: third wheeling so hard that it turns into a polycule (insp.)

mike laughing so hard he falls over and takes the table with him - and they still talk about that moment to this day.
don’t touch me i’m emotional
mike farrell read the original script for preventative medicine where they rehashed that exact same s3 scenario and said “RIP to trapper but I’m different” and was singlehandedly responsible for some of the best scenes of the show as a result. folks we really have NO CHOICE but to stan
I’ve always found this scene very fascinating. There’s no laugh track and the characters play it seriously. I don’t really like the idea of Frank being gay because of how horrible that is for LGBT people’s representation, but I still find it interesting how the show decided to include this in the episode.
A part of me feels like this is supposed to further cement the fact that Frank is “morally bankrupt” (because homophobia was even more extreme in the 70s- being gay was automatically considered bad) and that makes me a little uncomfortable.
I’m not sure how I feel about this. Anyone want to discuss?
