AT-RT: The All Terrain Reconnaissance Transport, or AT-RT, was a scout walker used by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. These walkers could hold one trooper and could run very fast with high mobility. AT-RTs were often used by ARF clone troopers for scouting missions. They were also used during many battles, such as the Battles of Christophsis, Umbara and Kashyyyk. When the Clone Wars ended and the Republic was transformed into the Galactic Empire, AT-RTs were redesigned into the new Imperial AT-DPs and AT-STs, both of which were upgrades to the AT-RT... . . . #starwars #clonewars #lego #clonetrooper #theclonewars #revengeofthesith #legos #afol #legostarwars #legoset (at Kashyyyk) https://www.instagram.com/p/COZNhGWJf4E/?igshid=j3peq2u4fw3f
Dwarf Spider Droid: The DSD1 Dwarf Spider droid was funded by the Commerce Guild to fight for the Separatist Alliance during the Clone Wars. Before the war, the Commerce Guild used these droids to punish their clients who did not pay the guild. During the war, dwarf spider droids used a long blaster cannon as its main weapon to combat Republic artillery. They also had a heavy blaster cannon, were amphibious and could self-destruct if necessary. Dwarf spider droids were present at the First Battle of Geonosis, the Battle of Teth, the Battle of Kashyyyk and other battles until the end of the war, when the entire Droid Army was shut down and decommissioned. . . . #starwars #lego #lucasfilm #afol #attackoftheclones #legos #revengeofthesith #separatist #droid #legostarwars #legofan (at Geonosis) https://www.instagram.com/p/COTlh_fpR6-/?igshid=kejcsbeaj6wd
Mandalorian Speeder: Designed and manufactered by a Mandalorian company, these Mandalorian speeders were very similar to those used by Death Watch (in my previous post). Different Mandalorian factions would paint their speeders unique colors to represent their own faction. The speeders themselves included a powerful engine, very powerful for its size, that allowed incredible ease of control for the driver. When produced as stock, these speeders included no weaponry. However, many Mandalorian factions equipped their speeders with twin cannons. This would allow Mandalorians to use the speeders as patrol vehicles... . . . #mandalorian #battlepack #lego #starwars #mando #afol #legostarwars #legos #lsw #legostagram #starwarsfan #legofan #mandalore (at Mandalore) https://www.instagram.com/p/COJT4eOproY/?igshid=1u752tpsgitpm
Balutar-Class Swoop: The Balutar-class swoops were also commonly known as mandalorian speeder bikes. This was because they were widely used by many mandalorian factions. One such faction was Death Watch. During the Clone Wars, Death Watch mandalorians used their blue mandalorian speeders to aid in their quest to retake Mandalore from Dutchess Satine Kryze’s pacifist regime. They eventually lost, and were overtaken by Darth Maul’s Shadow Collective, but the speeders lived on. Even after Death Watch, these mandalorian speeders were used by other mandalorians, often painting them different colors to match their own factions... . . . #clonewars #legostarwars #lego #theclonewars #mandalorian #legos #afol #legostagram #starwars #starwarsfan #legofan #tcw (at Mandalore) https://www.instagram.com/p/COEnQgUpeTD/?igshid=1tkwcmb1f6ka4
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ep2): The assassination attempt on Senator Padmè Amidala left Obi-Wan hunting down the assassin behind it. In a drawn-out chase, Kenobi and his young padawan, Anakin Skywalker, captured Zam Wessel to interogate her about fleeing the scene. Before they could speak to her, she was shot and killed with a poisonous dart. Obi-Wan took the dart to an old friend to discover its origins. The dart was traced back to the Outer Rim planet of Kamino, though the Jedi Archives seemed to find that Kamino did not exist. This puzzled Obi-Wan, however he decided to trust his feelings and traveled to the unknown world. Once he arrived on oceanic planet, he stumbled across a clone army, the soon-to-be Grand Army of the Republic. This discovery on Kamino by Kenobi would change the future for the Republic and Jedi Order drastically, more than Obi-Wan could realize... . . . #attackoftheclones #lego #afol #atoc #starwars #minifigure #legos #minifig #legominifig #legostarwars #legostagram #minifigs #minifigures #lsw (at Kamino) https://www.instagram.com/p/CN55q6YJpYR/?igshid=197ynwqfq6rfl
Anakin’s Podracer: The sleek, thin design of Anakin’s podracer was actually custom-built, as was the entire podracer. It was built by Anakin Skywalker himself as he grew up as a slave on Tatooine. He secretly built and completed it at the age of nine, where he planned to race it. Though he had never won a podrace before, he had a good feeling that this would be the podracer to win one in. In fact, the young boy only ever used this podracer in one race, the first and only race he had ever won. Anakin won first place in the Boonta Eve Classic, which paid for his freedom from slavery. He then left the podracer behind on Tatooine as he left to become a Jedi. 41 years later, one of the yellow and blue racing engines was owned by Marshal Cobb Vanth, who turned the engine into a speeder... . . . #lego #starwars #skywalker #thephantommenace #legos #legostarwars #podracer #afol #legofan #legoset #anakinskywalker #starwarsfan #tatooine #phantommenace (at Tatooine) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNqbUF-JQHj/?igshid=cbwm6s8mr9up
Vulture Droid: Droid fighters were often favored by the Trade Federation, which is why vulture droids were their standard starfighters. Before the Clone Wars, the federation used these fighters to enforce their contracts and defend their shipments. During the Invasion of Naboo, vulture droids were used to take the planet and also defend the Trade Federation control ship. These droid fighters were unmanned, so they needed no life-support system. This gave more room for more fire and fuelpower. Vulture droids could also activate “walk mode” and walk around on platforms instead of simply land like other starships. Their goal was to overwhelm the opponent in numbers, so they often appeared in swarms. Once the Trade Federation joined the Separatist Alliance and the Clone Wars began, vulture droids became the main starfighter for the Separatists... . . . #lego #starwars #droid #legoset #legostarwars #thephantommenace #legos #legostagram #legofan #starwarsfan #afol #phantommenace #lucasfilm (at Naboo) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNbBbp1JsZH/?igshid=jhc10lar34sr
Jawa Service Vehicle: Besides having their larger sandcrawler, some jawas had a small service vehicle. This transport could hold 1-3 jawas and also 1-2 droids. It was primarily used to scavenge for droids and bring them back to the sandcrawler. It features twin blasters on the sides, with a large rotating crane in the center to magnetically grab a droid. Jawas also kept some tools on the back of the service vehicles... . . . #legostarwars #jawas #starwars #lego #jawa #legos #legostagram #starwarsfan #legofan #afol #legoset (at Tatooine) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNV2ztnp1Qj/?igshid=100xnqol4yhq
Bantha: These large, hairy creatures inhabited the planet Tatooine, though some were also bred on other planets. Banthas were often seen roaming the deserts as packs, mounted by tusken raiders, or even domesticated by locals. Tusken raiders often used them for traveling and carrying items, and they never killed their banthas. Luke Skywalker had a few run-ins with banthas while he grew up on Tatooine. As he grew older, he came to realize that if a bantha was nearby, then a tusken raider might be as well. Din Djarin also witnessed some banthas on the desert planet. He once witnessed a bantha be swallowed whole by a krayt dragon. Later, to capture that same krayt dragon, Djarin teamed up with a camp of tusken raiders to use a bantha as bait, and pull the krayt dragon out of its den just in time to strikest it. Banthas often served well and were very loyal to their masters... . . . #lego #bantha #legostarwars #anewhope #themandalorian #tuskenraider #starwars #tatooine #legos #legostagram #lucasfilm #legofan #starwarsfan (at Tatooine) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNLscmape0Y/?igshid=1u2bog3xxpzvy
Mandalorian: Mandalorians originated from the planet Mandalore, composed mainly of humans who grouped themselves into clans. Clans were often organized by family, location, or even code. Ancient mandalorians fought against the Jedi for control of the Outer Rim, as some clans eventually decided to conquer other worlds. From ancient times to shortly before the Clone Wars, mandalorians were mainly warriors who fought each other and outside forces for control. Prior to the Clone Wars, the Mandalorian Civil War took place, in which Dutchess Satine’s pacifist movement won and began a new peace era for Mandalore. But this era would not last long, and soon the old warrior ways of the mandalorians would return. Once the Galactic Empire came about, Mandalore was conquered and some clans swore their alligance to the Empire. After the Empire’s fall, mandalorian clans found themselves scattered across the galaxy, however some mandalorians like Bo-Katan Kryze and Din Djarin saw to reunite the mandalorian society, and to recover Mandalore and restore its long traditional history... . . . #mandalorian #starwars #lego #minifigure #legostarwars #themandalorian #legominifig #minifig #legominifigure #legos #legostagram #lsw #starwarsfan #legofan #legomandalorian (at Mandalore) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNBkh5xpmst/?igshid=5gnh8crawuup
Cara Dune: Born and raised on Alderaan, Carasynthia Dune, or simply Cara Dune, joined the Rebel Alliance shortly after her homeworld was destroyed by the Death Star. The deaths of everyone she knew built up resentment in her for the Empire, that of which would never heal. She served as a rebel shock trooper, known by many to be strong and courageous. After the war, Dune decided to leave the Alliance and work as a mercenary. She eventually found herself working with Din Djarin to defeat an Imperial remnant on Nevarro. After helping to defeat the Imperials, once again, Dune returned to the New Republic and served as a marshal, helping the Republic keep peace in the Outer Rim. She also aided one of Djarin’s allies, Greef Karga, in cleaning up the city in Nevarro after the Imperials nearly destroyed it... . . . #caradune #legominifigure #starwars #themandalorian #lego #minifigure #legos #legostarwars #minifig #minifigurephotography (at Nevarro) https://www.instagram.com/p/CM3Q-Y4px2I/?igshid=p1fyxtw0s6s2
IG-11: This IG-series assassin droid was a bounty hunter during the early years of the New Republic Era. He was programmed to follow orders from the Bounty Hunters’ Guild, and had a built in self-destruct system to prevent his capture. On one mission, the droid teamed up with Din Djarin, also a member of the Guild, to track and kill Grogu, a force-sensitive child. Once the the pair found the child, IG-11 moved to kill it, but was first shot and destroyed by Djarin before the droid could fire. Later on, one of Djarin’s allies, Kuiil, found and repaired IG-11. The droid was now programmed to protect Grogu, in which the droid did. He eventually sacrificed himself for the child and Nevarro by self-destructing and taking many Imperials with him. After this, a statue on Nevarro was created for the droid honoring his sacrifice... . . . #bountyhunter #minifigure #themandalorian #legos #legostarwars #minifig #legominifigure #starwars #lucasfilm #legostagram (at Nevarro) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMx7Pzxpnlb/?igshid=p6s3wexvtq0h
Rise & Fall of Jar Jar Binks (Updated)
Jar Jar Binks is often looked at as an additional character added into the Prequel Trilogy of Star Wars. This is mainly to add in the some humor and be for the kids, similarly to the ewoks in Episode 6. The online Star Wars community also enjoys teasing about “Darth Jar Jar”, which is quite humorous but not actually true. In my opinion, every character from Episodes 1-6 has a good place in the Star Wars Saga, including Jar Jar.
In this post, I want to discuss what really happened to him, including his life after Episode 3. How did Jar Jar go from being an outcast in his society to a war general for them? Then, he went to represent them in the Galactic Senate. But after the Senate collapsed and Palpatine took all power, what happen to him? Let’s take a look.
Din Djarin: After his village was attacked by Separatist forces during the Clone Wars, young Din Djarin was rescued by mandalorians who followed the ways of the Children of the Watch. Djarin was raised as a mandalorian, though he believed that all mandalorians acted as his clan did. Once he became an adult, Din began working as a bounty hunter shortly after the fall of the Galactic Empire. Outside of his clan, he was often known as “Mando”. On one mission, Djarin discovered a child of unknown species who was strong with the force. He eventually befriended the child grew to care for him, though he made it his priority to return the child to the Jedi Order. Throughout this pursuit, Djarin came across other mandalorians, including Bo-Katan, who helped him learn more about what it means to be a true mandalorian. Upon returning the child to the Jedi, Din accidentally became the ruler of Mandalore when he defeated Moff Gideon and claimed the dark saber... . . . #themandalorian #mandalorian #dindjarin #lego #minifigure #starwars #lucasfilm #legos #legominifig #starwarslego #minifigs #minifigures #lsw (at Nevarro) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMneLoiJ5gA/?igshid=1avmyj2azwdm9
Klatooinian Raider: Many members of the Klatooninian species, native to Klatooine, became raiders and pirates. Many of them also found themselves serving crime lords such as Jabba the Hutt. One Klatooinian, known as Castas, even became a bounty hunter. But the many raiders that there were often banded together in the Outer Rim and raided various beings and organizations. Klaatooinians got their first apperance in “Return of the Jedi” and were also seen raiding a small village in “The Mandalorian”... . . . #themandalorian #lego #legominifigure #starwars #legostarwars #legos #minifig #minifigure #legostagram #lsw (at Tatooine) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMN7rbRJVLI/?igshid=uclljuz3uq4l
Chief Chirpa: Bright Tree Village needed a strong ewok leader, and Chief Chirpa was just that. He served as chief of the ewok tribe for 42 seasons before the Battle of Endor, and was eventually succeeded by his daughter sometime after the battle. During the Battle of Endor, Chirpa granted General Han Solo and his rebel strike force to become apart of the tribe. After this, the ewoks fully supported and fought alongside the rebels against the Empire. Chirpa announced that the ewoks would fight to remove the Imperials from Endor, and they did just that. After the battle, Chirpa attended the victory celebration at the ewok village with the rebels... . . . #ewok #legostagram #legostarwars #returnofthejedi #starwars #minifigures #minifighub #legos #minifig #rebelalliance #legominifig (at Endor) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMDpveHp0rY/?igshid=1tihaz3qfm3s6
