kurt has always been shy, from being a shy kid to an akward grown up. it never really changed. when you joined nirvana in 1990, kurt was the sweet but quiet dude who smelled like the coffee shops in amsterdam and coconut body wash.
he was especially shy around you at first because you were the only girl. he used to hang around girls in highschool but that’d been so long ago that now he didn’t really know what to talk about with you. there were a few akward occasions where he would try to joke around with the guys and include you, but the jokes didn’t fully land - that made him even shyer.

kurt never really initiated physical touch, even if it was his love language, he knew it wasn’t yours, yours was acts of service. so when you went in for a hug, or grabbed onto his arm it meant the world to him.
the first time you got high was in the studio with the rest of the guys, krist was always very open when he was high. and so he just randomly asked you if you were a virgin. from your reaction it was obvious you were, you all just chuckled and moved on.
you two would always sit next to eachother in the car, dave and krist thought kurt drove like a granny, so you two were almost always in the back. leaning against eachother and falling asleep with his gameboy still in hand.

he whimpers and whines alot. always trying to act like he’d be a dominant man in bed but one happy pat on his legs and he’s literal mush next to you. you truly didn’t know what you were capable of.
