I'm here from tiktok looking to spin the block on this baddie.
In anticipation/preparation for the possible ban, I've downloaded enough apps in the last 24 hours to make my phone sweat.
Why we leave here again?
Help me recall.
On #Moondays I'm pretty introspective.
Even more than my generally #Aquarian nature requests.
I schedule time to consider + curate experiences that are sincerely just for me + my well being.
I tend to rise early + move through my waking practices followed by time to connect w/ others on their route to the(ir) BIG SELF)
Today, I left the house to complete past due tasks/errands + went to #FreedomPark to do this care work.
I read #yogasutras, drank lemon water, participated in a deeply affirming+ inspiring #meditation @thesanctuaryinthecityclt
with @johnwlovejr who reminded me (in these words more or less) to "look in the direction of my/the absolutely fabulous."
This sentiment was particularly useful as I'm currently approaching a building wave of life where I'm looking for/magnetizing new housing while participating/collaborating in a # of magical, artistic, entrepreneurial + soul expanding offerings for the #charlotte community + beyond.
Issa bunch to consider.
In the midst of it all I can say my vision has been short sighted at times, if not completely blind to solutions because of #triggers/#traumas from the past.
John's reminder bolstered a benevolent knowing I have w/in thats been buried under a spicy dash of anxiety/fear +delightful anticipation of the expansive + just right new upcoming.
Look in the direction of the absolutely fabulous, conjure w/in yourself the feelin you desire in the middle of a thought or perspective thats less aligned w/how u WANT to feel. THAT'S how u manifest. THAT'S how you magnetize. Feel the good.
This messaging reminds me of the yogic concept of #PratipakshaBhavana.
Pratipaksha bhavana- the practice of substituting a positive thought form for disturbing, negative ones.
2day I'm grateful 4 breath, yoga, community, love, alignment w/my BIG SELF

Quick spell from my grandma that was passed onto her from her mum and however many generations…
Lost something?
Stick a pin in your sofa and it’ll return to you.
Why does this shit work? No clue, fam. But mum and grandma swear by it and I’ll be damned if it didn’t work for me today
Thank you for this! It works unbelievably well! I needed to find my hard drive and just didn’t know where I had placed it, so like you mentioned I took a pin and stuck it into my sofa quietly asking to find it. Less than 5 minutes later BAM! I found it!
Thanks fam! I will be using this

Being abused made me such a “good kid.”
I was
Always polite
Never acted without permission
Never spoke out of turn
Always did what I was told
And it’s shitty that I was considered mature and praised for those things, and all of those characteristics have translated into me being an immature, “bad adult.”
Now I
Have difficulty making a keeping friends
Can’t act without permission/am dependent on others for direction
Am terrible at communicating
Have no agency/personal compass
It’s a really difficult thing for people who were abused as children to grapple with. What made us good children make us bad adults.
This is Important
THIS IS MY LIFE WOW
Conversely, while 90% of the time we’re kind and polite and accommodating, we get super fucking angry and have major outbursts when we feel threatened Which is not a good look either
Wow. This is an eye-opener
I literally have just made the connection between how being an obedient child has ruined the way I proceed as an adult. And everyone makes me think Im blaming my childhood trauma for everything
So apparently last year the National Park Service in the US dropped an over 1200 page study of LGBTQ American History as part of their Who We Are program which includes studies on African-American history, Latino history, and Indigenous history.
Like. This is awesome. But also it feels very surreal that maybe one of the most comprehensive examinations of LGBTQ history in America (it covers sports! art! race! historical sites! health! cities!) was just casually done by the parks service.
This is really great??
