i am so accustomed to drawing quick shitty ballpoint pen sketches that i am more comfortable drawing in ballpoint pen and that means that all my good pictures are in ballpoint pen on tiny printer-grade paper and not in pencil on something that can handle mixed media and this is not a great habit when you want your art to actually look good
I can't believe I'm legally required to make a custom portrait for Rogue Trader before I can do my Official Canon Playthrough this is bullshit and I'm going to hurt myself
Really Big Coin Skrekkøgle
This is our Really Big Coin. It is big because it makes other things look small when photographed next to it. Actually, it is a 20:1 replica of the EUR 50-cent, you see it being milled out here. We needed to do quite a bit of sanding, lacquering and smudging to obtain the desired look and some climbing to get into required shooting position (you need to get up real high to take good pictures). The result is a short series of photographs, attempting to visually scale down real-sized objects.

Marazhai is so funny because at first you're like "wow what a comically evil guy to have in my retinue" and then you start paying attention to what the rest of your companions will blurt out just as part of their idle chatter and you'll be like "Heinrix that's really fucked up why would you say that" "Argenta what is the matter with you" "Jesus Christ, Pasqal"
writers and artists everywhere all the time
collab with @joyfultorture (she did the lineart, i coloured it) 🫀
The larger piece this was supposed to be a thumbnail for never materialized, but I still think it makes for a cute little doodle
Had this idea to do some fan art of my RPG protagonists to help shake off the art block.
Other idea was to make a big production out of every piece I make, which feels less necessary. I think the real solution is probably to be less precious about it.
This is Mab, troll Street Samurai (really should have been Adept, by the time I realized that was the class for killing people with your bare hands it was too late and I had to do a last-minute pivot towards guns). Made for Shadowrun Returns.
I think it's kind of silly to have an art blog that I don't even really intend to use, so I am going to move the like. two art pieces i want to keep over here and then delete it
My Rogue Trader has a feature where if he kills someone with a critical hit he then proceeds to shoot at the nearest enemy as a bonus action. Unfortunately it seems to register allied NPCs as enemies (can't recall if this was warned of in the ability description or not...), so I keep. I keep shooting my own team members...

And I will add some old arts I drew with RT characters c: Heinrix! Well, that's all with humans right now, haha :DD
All right, all right, let's hear what they're whispering about us, hmmm?
I am genuinely moving on and enjoying myself again but if there's one thing that playing Rogue Trader has really made me feel quite strongly about it in Dragon Age 4 it's that we should have had the fucking ship
