Love isn’t as hard as people make it out to be but it isn’t as simple either. Loving someone takes depth and a willingness to share without fear and give with no expectation. Time isn’t yours and it isn’t theirs either. The moments are forever shared and intwined and things are rarely left to wonder about but there are still so many things to ponder.
People change even our partners and learning and leaning into the change going with the flow takes strength.
I’ve changed with partners before and seen them crumble to behold the new versions of myself rise and fall with the seasons. Unable to take in the ebbs and flows of my ever changing mind and back and forth way of being. I love intensely but can grow cold without the freedom understanding allows.
I am so grateful for a love that sees the changes and grows with and not against them.
