Diositareme deleted her game and is leaving the fandom
It’s been a while since I last posted.
Before anything else, I want to clarify that this post includes a brief mention of the personal impact this situation has had on me. I’m sharing this only for context, not to seek sympathy, and I ask that it not become the focus of the discussion.
Over the past weeks, I’ve been trying to rest and recover. I’ve received death threats nonstop, and while I usually try to ignore them, there are moments when vulnerability makes even small things feel overwhelming.
Regarding the document...
I’m fully aware that the document isn’t perfect. I know the translation could be better, and that the organization may not be what some people expected. I sincerely apologize for that.
Despite its flaws, the victims themselves are satisfied—not only with the document, but with how everything has been handled overall. Knowing that genuinely brings me relief and happiness, because their voices and well-being were always the priority.
Updates regarding Diositareme (this is the most important topic)
Diositareme’s game “Locked Love” has been deleted from Itch.io. This is a relief. She was repeatedly asked to take it down out of respect for Gatobob’s explicit wish that her characters not be used in fangames. Unfortunately, the game was not removed because of Gatobob’s wishes, but rather due to the harassment Diosita herself has been receiving.
Shortly after, Dreme posted a tweet on X stating that she had heard “many rumors” about Blueberry and Berry being groomers. Blueberry is a close friend of mine, and I can say with certainty that she is not a groomer. These accusations are entirely baseless.
In the same tweet, she referred to my best friend Cyr, one of her victims, using the pronoun “she,” despite fully knowing that HE is a trans man. In fact, she was one of the first people Cyr came out to.
As detailed in the document, Diosita not only traced Cyr’s art, but also doxxed him, mocked him for taking medication, and deliberately used personal information to harass him for his identity.
And I do not want to hear the excuse of: "But she's a Spanish native speaker!". So am I. Half of the victims are as well. Cyr himself is a Spanish native speaker. We all understand the basic distinction between she/her and he/him. Additionally, Diosita is fully capable of writing in English; she has repeatedly offered to translate things for Cyr, even though she knew he was fluent. This misgendering was intentional.
Working on this document took a significant toll on me. I’m not in my best mental state, and the stress led to serious consequences: I relapsed into s3lf-harm, cried constantly, lost my appetite, and struggled to sleep.
I’m sharing this only to explain the toll this situation took on me (not to seek sympathy) and I am taking steps to care for myself. I was fully aware of what I was getting into when I chose to speak up.
At the end of her tweet, she states, and I quote:
“Anyway, I hope the people who remain in this fandom have a better experience, especially when it comes to finding genuine friendships, not two-faced people.”
This strongly suggests that she is leaving the fandom, which, honestly, is a relief. I’m aware this may bring more hate my way, but I can live with that. I’m glad I was able to help the victims, and I’m grateful that there are still people who refuse to defend her actions.
Thank you to everyone who supported me, offered kind words, and chose to believe me. I don’t know how many people will see this, but to those who stayed until the end: thank you.
