8. What keeps your muse up at night?

Lyrics to potential songs. Notes to them too sometimes but it’s always when you want to sleep that the muse hits.

34. What was your muse’s happiest birthday?

Back when it was just me and my Aunt. She’d let me spend the day at a music store of some kind then we’d come home and stay up all night watching movies and eating cake.

“Wow no pressure or anything. Good thing that sounds like a no brainer. Blood orange rum punch. I feel like that’s more likely to appeal to everyone. Martinis are usually more of a feminine drink and apple cider is pretty overdone.”

51. 🍋 do you consider yourself an emotional person?

Yes. I don’t think I could write the songs I do if I wasn’t. Maybe I don’t want to always express them to others but yes I’m an emotional person.

42. 😊 what do you like to do as hobbies?

Do random bar fights count? I guess some people would call my career a hobby. I don’t but it’s one of those things that is one for most people. I really enjoy traveling. Other than that I guess I just do whatever I feel like during my free time.

What is your biggest fear?

That I’m not worth loving.

“I actually found her wandering around outside of my apartment building after the storm, no collar and no chip. I’ve considered keeping her but with how much time I spend at the bakery I’m not sure this is the best place for her to be.”

“Well whatever you decide I don’t recommend a shelter. Black cats are the least likely to be adopted and more likely to be killed. I mean if all else fails I’ll take her off your hands to avoid that. I too was least likely to be adopted in my youth which gives us something in common.”

The minute she grabbed onto the bottle was when he forcefully pulled it away from her grasp with narrowed eyes. “Well, go play fucking hero somewhere else ‘cause I don’t need it, and I don’t really care much for impressing you or anyone else. So truth is, the only one causing any problems here is you if you don’t give me back that bottle right now, Blaise.” 

The jolt forward surprised her but she didn’t let go of the bottle seeing as it was easier for her to move quickly than him. She wasn’t drunk. “Oh look at you tough guy. What are you going to do if I don’t let you have it? You gonna try and hurt me over a bottle? Go ahead and try me, Serge. Lay a fucking hand on me and see what happens.”

“I’m minding my own damn business and not playing hero, what the fuck are you yelling for,” Serge brushed her off without care as he finally stood up from where he was. “Go ahead and start praying then.” 

“I’m raising my voice because you’re being an asshole to a kind person trying to help,” Blaise retorted her body moving with him as he stood. She reached out and grasped the bottle he held. “Give me the alcohol and fuck off. I’m not praying. I guess that means I am playing hero. I don’t know what’s wrong with you but I’m not impressed. Go play alcoholic rockstar in the corner and stop causing problems.”

“I said I’m fine,” Serge slurred out, clothes soaked with a whiskey bottle in hand and the other wiping at the bloody split lip he was sporting. “Get your fucking hands off me, I don’t need to be checked.” 

“Hey! Hey,” Blaise snapped as she placed her hands on either side of his face. “Get your shit together and stop being an asshole. Put the bottle down and sober up damn it. It’s not the time for this. People are in danger, Serge. What the fuck are you doing?”
