“You must be able to make a commitment to yourself. Promise yourself that, no matter what, you will give it your very best. Day in, and day out. From one second to the next. What ever they may be, your dreams are absolutely beautiful. Don’t allow for them to whither inside of you; give them your love, work, and dedication.”
— Nicole Addison @thepowerwithin
“Every second that we live, we have the choice of how we’re going to spend it. So choose wisely. Make good decisions. Time truly is priceless.”
— Nicole Addison @thepowerwithin
“Attract the right kind of people into your life. Those who are uplifting, inspirational, or wise. Those who encourage you, not drag you down. The people who we spend time with have more of an influence on us than we often realize, so we must ensure that these influences are good ones.”
— Nicole Addison @thepowerwithin
Fill yourself up with so much love that it radiates to those around you. Regardless of where you came from or who you may be, you are the most beautiful of sunbeams capable of filling the world with beauty.

“Care, because it is what you do. Care, and be vibrantly alive.”
— Ralph Marston
Dr. Wayne Dyer’s Excuses Begone – List of 18 affirmations:
(Excuse listed first – then the positive affirmation)
1. It will be difficult – I have the ability to accomplish any task I set my mind to with ease and comfort.
2. It’s going to be risky – Being myself involves no risks. It is my ultimate truth, and I live it fearlessly.
3. It will take a long time – I have infinite patience when it comes to fulfilling my destiny.
4. There will be family drama – I would rather be loathed for who I am than loved for who I am not.
5. I don’t deserve it – I am a Divine creation, a piece of God. Therefore, I cannot be undeserving.
6. It’s not my nature – My essential nature is perfect and faultless. It is to this nature that I return.
7. I can’t afford it – I am connected to an unlimited source of abundance.
8. No one will help me – The right circumstances and the right people are already here and will show up on time.
9. It has never happened before – I am willing to attract all that I desire, beginning here and now.
10. I’m not strong enough – I have access to unlimited assistance. My strength comes from my connection to my Source of being.
11. I’m not smart enough – I am a creation of the Divine mind; all is perfect, and I am a genius in my own right.
12. I’m too old (or not old enough) – I am an infinite being. The age of my body has no bearing on what I do or who I am.
13. The rules won’t let me – I live my life according to Divine rules.
14. It’s too big – I think only about what I can do now. By thinking small, I accomplish great things.
15. I don’t have the energy – I feel passionately about my life, and this passion fills me with excitement and energy.
16. It’s not my personal family history – I live in the present moment by being grateful for all of my life experiences as a child.
17. I’m too busy – As I unclutter my life, I free myself to answer the callings of my soul.
18. I’m too scared – I can accomplish anything I put my mind to, because I know that I am never alone.

“There is no heart God cannot conquer. There is no life He cannot change. There is no past He cannot forgive.”

“Every effort that you make towards a better self is one of great beauty. This transformation won’t happen over night, however your better self still awaits you. As long as you keep your mind and heart set on the destination.”

“Are you currently living the life that you want? Or is this the life that someone else wants? You only deserve to live your own, wildest dreams. Not your neighbour’s.”

I had a reminder from the Holy Spirit saying, “if you want change, start with your heart”
It's sooo fun having a short hair. People has a lot to say to you. Hahaha
"Nang gewa?!"
"P*ta, makanyan ka itsura"
"Lupa kang lalaki"
"Kalupa me i apu mu"
"That's my tomboy!"
"Uy, bagay mo"
"Uy, nagmature ka"
"Buti pa ikaw binata ka na"
"Ikaw nalang boyfriend ko, ligawan mo nako"
"Presko no?"
Siguro others would find them offending pero para sakin, hindi e. I have set this as a challenge to myself and I'm really happy I made it. I'm proud of myself for overcoming it.
I decided to have this haircut done because I wanted to know if it would fit me. I've been wanting to try super short haircuts even when I was still in College. Sooo, I'm really happy I got the courage it finally requires. Hahaha
At first, I was not satisfied with my hair. It was tough not recognizing yourself in the mirror for split seconds but it was really fun. Adjusting takes time and a lot of rationalizations. And when you finally become adjusted, that's when you become strong. You get to accept yourself for the way you are. You accept that's how you look pala when you do that and that's totally fine.
For me, the highlight of my adulting time is figuring out what works for me and not. I'm discovering what's out there for me. I love to try new things and discover that it's something I'd love to consistently do or to have.
Now, when random words of people come, be it good or bad. I don't get very affected anymore. I just find them funny because that only reflects their thought process e. That reflects how they think of you. That's not necessarily you.
Once you've come to accept and understand your choices and stand up for them, you will feel a whole lot better. You won't get offended by naysayers because you've got a solid ground to stand on. You're unbreakable.
I'm actually grateful I decided to try this. It brings out a lot of fun moments that I would never have if I stuck to my usual hair. I'll have wonderful memories to look back.
