under the cut because this one got long.
SAIKAI.
when i was young and lost.
you showed up.
you showed up, and had my doors unlocked.
like thread, petals unfold.
you have shown me that i am still capable of caring for someone else.
i still bear the same innocence inside.
'cause now i know.
now i know that pain cannot define the past.
pain cannot define the past.
we are built to overcome endless mishaps.
you know, it's not so bad.
it's not so bad when you are with me.
you know, it's not so bad when you are with me.
cherish as long as we last.
s is not for sayonara.
let memories play back.
i knew i must step up.
you deserve the world and more.
the truth is that you'd rather spend our limited time together.
protection alone is not enough.
providing cannot fill an empty cup.
providing cannot fill an empty cup thirsting for love.
i questioned myself a lot.
what do i know about love?
how can i recreate what i've never had?
all i know is that i must keep you thriving.
if nutrients are what you lack, i will water you with every drop of blood i have.
i will water you with every drop of blood i have.
sacrifice is the easy path.
my absence cannot ever change the fact.
i wanted the very best for you, believe me.
our threads in red can never be cut.
will you forgive me at last?
SALT, PEPPER, BIRDS, AND THE THOUGHT POLICE.
bamboo basket, reflector, working brakes.
never forget your helmet.
see ya, i'm off to the morning market.
thirty-three lemons, a healthy-looking chicken, and a dozen free-range eggs.
thanks, keep the change.
i'm home.
what a perfect day.
i hanged the sheets out in the yard.
thinking about you, mother.
to recite her famous words.
all you need are salt and pepper.
all you need are salt and pepper to taste the happiness of life forever.
men in black kicked down my front door.
hey! who? what? why?
you violated act six seventeen.
you're under arrest.
you shouldn't have been born the way you are.
we began to sing.
they can never take anything from our souls.
they shaved off my hair.
i'm alive.
i still remember all the people i love.
so come at me, and do your worst.
as the morning came and went.
the people stayed and went.
the earth went 'round and 'round.
the stars never looked so kind.
every night, i was invited to watch.
i was invited to watch a theatre played by moonlit birds.
a theatre played by moonlit birds.
they spread their wings.
carrying our silenced voices.
singing our historic songs.
letting everyone in the future know that we existed.
what a perfect night.
i felt the urge to read a book.
i started to write, poems after poems.
we're finally free.
i picked up my bicycle.
riding home to mother.
writing my delusion world.
i saw a version of heaven where i sat in the yard.
i saw a version of heaven.
reading a paperback print of my book.
children lying on the grass.
singing to poems written by me.
PEACH PIT AND CYANIDE.
bitter and almondy.
darling, consume it all.
flavor is love.
mine is the most pungent.
juicy and savory.
filtering out the pulp.
pour me a cup.
pour me a cup, let's make it the end.
let's make it the end.
you peeled off fuzzy skin.
carved out a piece.
and fed your flesh to the mouths not mine.
the sweetest smell still lingers.
the sweetest smell still lingers on the unwanted peach pit you left behind.
so i took a bite.
let it chip away and grind down.
the future i fantasized.
the flavor's kind of nice.
darling, let the cyanide become our spice.
i wonder when i stopped fighting.
i wonder when i stopped fighting against this version of you.
this version of you who's kind to everyone except for me.
if we can't go back to where it all started, i'd rather enjoy my time.
seeing you by my side.
feeling sorry as i cried.
let it sting and paralyze.
my people pleasing mind.
i too know what love tastes like.
sweet cyanide.
TO YOUR OBLIVION.
open your eyes, dear damocles.
tell me, what's tied to my ceiling?
i've got everything.
i've got plenty of the good.
plenty of the worst.
all seemed splendid served on a silver dish.
all seemed splendid.
with each great power comes a great terror.
that's what they say.
that's what they want us to believe.
so what if these dreams i tried reaching out to are light years away from this reality we knew?
mirror, mirror, who's my living proof?
so what if i skipped my daily spoonful of virtue?
it's not like being nice will bring me closer to you.
closer to your temporary throne.
closer to a world i can call my own.
i know, your pride begs to disagree.
i earned it, claimed the blessed.
if i filtered out roses from your view, will you finally see there's a sword for me too?
it doesn't suit you at all.
so what if failures today make me a fool?
persistence always pays off in a decade or two.
mirror, mirror, show me someone new.
hey, what if i said that i never want to be you?
so why don't you step down from that throne?
so you can see me like the way i see you.
YEAR N.
hear my thoughts flow out like rivers.
pot of charcoal ink, paper weights, friction on the page.
hoping it would finally reach you someday.
like the distant lights in lunarscape.
embracing you always.
year 1, i learned your name.
year 10, we were always together.
year 100, i left you.
year 1000, i missed you.
so we start another journey.
by the time we reached our happy ending.
if our hearts remain lonely, will you make a promise to me?
will you make a promise to me?
let the spring blossom.
let summer dance.
let autumn sing a song.
winter yawned, it goes around and 'round.
with you, i sang along.
each and every flower in me lights up tiny fireworks.
i'm naming the stars after us.
i know we're determined to let go everything, anything.
first, it was sweet.
then it felt heavy.
since when did we start building happiness upon sacrifices?
despite all the good memories, it is time to face our reality.
sometimes goodbyes are necessary.
letting time repair our wounded beliefs.
if our hearts remain loving, will you break a promise with me?
will you break a promise with me?
and if our hearts remain beating, will you keep the promise to me?
will you keep the promise to me?
without you, i carry on.
i picked up the quill, filling out the pages.
our stories untold.
LIFE WE SOW.
sunny days over gold.
we walk upon the soil.
dragging down on the plow.
here is the life we sow.
tiny raindrops.
dance, bouncy new leaf.
children of the sea.
children of the land.
children on the hills.
children in the sand.
chasing over happiness.
i have travelled all the way to here.
being happy means to eat, and grow, and sleep.
do you see?
under the silver moon, we picked the ripened fruits.
sweetest ones for my love inside a wooden box.
SLEEP TALK METROPOLIS.
i'm building my muscles.
i make my own bentos.
low waste and responsible.
i'm learning to be minimal.
i wish to be hired to pay off my student loans.
i wish to be hired.
enjoyed being alone.
don't want to be alone.
i wanted my own home.
i needed a new phone.
i wanted to travel.
the times are different, did you know?
the times are different.
did you know?
we're living in a dream.
spilling our time on repeat.
we're living for the dream.
is it a sign?
i am in a race of one.
i wanted a child someday.
tell me it's not too late.
i'm dreaming of a sunny balcony.
so don't say yours was better.
PAPER BOUQUET.
loop through a silky ribbon, my pretender.
hide a scarlet letter.
manuals in hand.
we paint the world a bit redder.
bury my new friend, means to an end.
dress up in the mirror i am cinderella.
if the future needs a billion samples of flowers, i'm your reaper.
i'm your reaper.
i've no color.
so the least i can do for you is endure.
i'm here in familiar dark.
though sometimes i wonder.
where is my resetter?
faster than the speed of light.
shining bright, falling into our eyes.
we are sapphires.
we are sapphires, laying on sand.
the world now tastes a bit saltier.
is the future set in place?
is it not too late?
too late to be a good girl today?
dress up in the gutter i am snow white.
what strange words.
it all matters.
every piece we made is my treasure.
we walked down the aisle unexplored.
remaining strangers.
RTRT.
hold up, mister.
how about some retort, a pouch of curry?
but you're rather picky.
well, i'll make you something else.
don't need to show me how.
since i'm the mad scientist, proclaimed by myself.
no matter which one you pick i'll get it done.
delivery or takeout won't beat my retort pouch.
you're loving my retort.
i'm loving your retort.
you're my only retort.
you stretch your arms out asking for a hug.
hidden under your talisman is your practiced smile.
come here, mister.
that's when i realized we've became family.
i'll stitch you back up.
SIDESHOW DUCKLING.
i pray for a night of no end.
spinning around and around.
the ducking ceased her smile.
not enough.
not enough to be awarded love.
ladies and gentlemen.
here comes your fakest swan.
on my shoulder stood your heavy dream.
i took a leap.
i hate how every time i look to you.
step on their tongues.
badder than the devil.
i'm enough.
i'm enough to win my own approval.
goodbye.
goodnight.
i hope your dreams are sweeter than mine.
no matter how many pieces i lost and found.
some parts are always the same.
i killed the dawn you long desired.
that's enough.
that's enough to make me feel much better.
here comes your favorite swan.
burn me with your fire.
i understand, i already know.
i understand.
i already know.
you hate yourself more.
you hate yourself more than you have ever hated me.
that's right! i'm opening roleplay graphic commissions!
there are multiple reasons that i'm doing this, but mostly because of the fact that i currently do not have a job. i am physically disabled, and while i have filled out an application for goodwill in my town, i'm still not sure if my body is physically able to keep up with the workload. i can't get disability because social security is dumb and i apparently "haven't worked enough" to qualify for it in my state.
right now, i live with my partner and their parents in an apartment that was not meant to house 4 people. i want to be able to help out in some way, whether it's for saving up for a bigger apartment, or an apartment for just my partner and i. i'll eventually go back to work, but i'm just not ready for the change. so i want to help out in some way, shape or form by earning some money of my own for once.
prices for those who can't read the graphic (all prices are in USD):
dash icons: $5
banner (header & pinned) w/ psd: $15
100x100 icon pack: $10 / 100 icons, + $5 for every added 100 icons
icon borders: $10 per border
psd: $10
i will not accept comms for viv.zie.po.p media, h.arr.y p.ott.er, or a.tta.ck o.n t.it.an. i also have the right to deny any commission request sent my way.
i can only accept payment through p.ay.pa.l. all sales are final.
if you can't help, please at least reblog this post so it can gain traction!
I have not broken your heart — you have; and in breaking it, you have broken mine.
I cannot make you understand. I cannot make anyone understand what is happening inside me. I cannot even explain it to myself.
Since we're all going to die, it's obvious that when and how don't matter.
When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where the madness lies?
To dream the impossible dream, that is my quest.
When we set the carriage afire, her flesh will be roasted, her bones will be charred: she will die an agonizing death.
What isn't part of ourselves doesn't disturb us.
I have been and still am a seeker, but I have ceased to question stars and books; I have begun to listen to the teaching my blood whispers to me.
The bird fights its way out of the egg.
I have no right to call myself one who knows.
We who bore the mark might well be considered by the rest of the world as strange, even as insane and dangerous.
I have no idea whether parents can be of help, and I do not blame mine.
At one time I had given much thought to why men were so very rarely capable of living for an ideal. Now I saw that many, no, all men were capable of dying for one.
I will not make a gift of myself, I must be won.
Examine a person closely enough and you know more about him than he does himself.
One cannot apologize for something fundamental, and a child feels and knows this as well and as deeply as any sage.
The tree does not die. It waits.
Fate and character are different names for the same idea.
As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.
A man sees in the world what he carries in his heart.
All theory is gray, my friend. But forever green is the tree of life.
I am not omniscient, but I know a lot.
Everything transitory is but an image.
One mind is enough for a thousand hands.
Man errs, till he has ceased to strive.
Words are mere sound and smoke, dimming the heavenly light.
But you will never know another's heart, unless you are prepared to give yours too.
The Devil's in the house and can't get out.
Men's wretchedness in soothe I so deplore.
To go wrong in one's own way is better than to go right in someone else's.
It takes something more than intelligence to act intelligently.
Your worst sin is that you have destroyed and betrayed yourself for nothing.
When reason fails, the devil helps!
A hundred suspicions don't make a proof.
The man who has a conscience suffers whilst acknowledging his sin. That is his punishment.
The fear of appearances is the first symptom of impotence.
Break what must be broken, once for all, that's all, and take the suffering on oneself.
Have you ever heard of 'a genius who had been stuffed and preserved'?
Every day I am fated to die.
All the activities of life seem unbearably dull to me and I have renounced them.
If you would be nice to me, I would gladly die for you this moment.
Having made an utter failure of my life, I found myself one day in the midst of my poverty and wretchedness, thinking about the female companions of my youth.
So, surrender to sleep at last. What a misery, keeping watch through the night, wide awake -- you’ll soon come up from under all your troubles.
Man is the vainest of all creatures that have their being upon earth.
There is a time for making speeches, and a time for going to bed.
For there is nothing better in this world than that man and wife should be of one mind in a house.
I swear by the greatest, grimmest oath that binds the happy gods.
Few sons are the equals of their fathers; most fall short, all too few surpass them.

chapter one: april showers bring may flowers.
' yes, i've made my decision. '
' yes, sir... ' '
mind your tongue. [he/she/they] can still hear you. '
' i thought [he/she/they] disliked being among people. '
' ahh, as i thought. you can see them. '
' what is your name? '
' there. you may open your eyes now. '
' this is my home. as of today, it is your home as well. '
' as of now, you are an apprentice mage. '
' we are a dying breed, fading from this world. but i, at least, intend to hold on until the end. '
' welcome, [name]. '
' there is no god. '
' i totally forgot to ask for a real explanation. '
' look! an adorable human! '
' if you're doomed to be a mage, we'll gladly do all that we can to help you. '
' you... adore me? '
' um... is it true that you can use magic? '
' you will be a magnificent mage one day. '
' after all, you're practically family now. '
' this adder stone comes from a riverbed, where the hole wore into it naturally. '
' i think that's enough for one evening. let's call it a night. '
' care for a nighttime stroll with me? '
' ahh, foolish child. '
' well, this should be a good lesson. '
' it's so bright out here! '
‘ what do you mean...? '
' perfect! the way's even open! '
' but there's nobody there. no one's waiting for you, sweetie. '
' i'm not going. '
' i have to go back. '
' it would seem my little puppy has learned where [his/her/their] den is. '
' be gone. '
' i'm sorry. '
' as my apprentice, you can rely on me for such things. '
' it's easy to get lost in these woods at night. i will carry you back to our home. '
' all right. '
chapter two: one today is worth two tomorrows.
' you want to know? '
' i thought you weren't interested in any of that. '
' i don't like pain. '
' how very prudent. '
' ha! i run a business, you know. '
' you do realize that if you don't deny it quickly, i could be in very deep trouble...? '
' did [he/she/they] really propose to you? '
' oh, i suppose i haven't introduced myself. '
' well, there's consequences . '
' i have no idea where to start. '
' want to give it a try? '
' the truth is... i'm not even sure i have a favorite flower. '
' why didn't you tell me? '
' don't be so upset. '
' i'm sorry for making such a mess... '
' what good is a master who doesn't teach his apprentice anything?! '
' oh, so you weren't joking? '
' is she your mistress, then? '
' why must you twist the knife? '
' shut up!! both of you!!! '
' that was awfully blunt. '
' whatever led you here, your past can't change the fact that you're with me now. '
chapter three: the scale distinguishes not between gold and lead.
' i waited outside for two whole hours, you know. '
' i'm but a poor little lamb cowering before the great and mighty mage here. '
' die. '
' that was cruel. '
' three? that's quite a few. '
' payback for the trouble you're causing me. '
' isn't that covered by some commandment from your god or his son? '
' you ask too much of them. '
' is this trouble because of me coming here? '
' a mage's medicines are effective and easy on the body. '
' wait, that really wasn't a joke?! '
' my, my. we have a visitor. how unusual. '
' my apologies for the rough greeting. '
' ah! you were quicker this time. '
' how long will you hide in her shadow? '
' i was politely waiting for you to finish your stories, old coot. '
' i see your penchant for toying with others hasn't changed in the last three centuries. '
' gracious, you're drenched right through. '
' what are you smirking about? '
' it's just adorable to see the little boy playing at being a father. '
' don't be fooled by his appearance or childish pranks. he's even older than i am. '
' done talking yet? we wanna play! '
' has there been trouble here lately? '
' it isn't going to hurt, is it? '
' you are a kind child. '
' all things taste the joys and sorrows of life... and all will know the loneliness of death. '
