" I almost got killed, because of you." She responded bitterly.
"Welcome to Dauntless, sweetheart."
"Then why are you talking to me?”
" Because you owe me an apology."
Enyo laughed. "Do I now? For what?"
{♚}—;; Perhaps this time she was wrong. Though deep down, the woman highly doubted it. There was no way she had this wrong… No, she had been over and over the formulas, spent days taking notes, monitoring the subjects reactions to the serums. It was inconceivable that she was wrong- there had to be something else. Yet still, as she sat at her desk, papers stacked to near falling, vials standing in holders, Jeanine Matthews was slowly coming to the realization that she was going to have to try something { n e w }. Lips pursed tightly, hands clenching into tight fists upon her desk, the paper held within only moments ago had been pristine, perfect- now scrunched inside her palm, tearing at the edges; fraying, not unlike Jeanines nerves. With a sigh, the Erudite pushed back from her desk, throwing the scrunched up piece of paper in the vague direction of the trashcan before placing her forehead in her hands; a frustrated scream threatened to break from her lips, but she clenched her teeth, determined to not break… No, she was better than this. She would figure this out, if it was the last thing she did. Standing, she made her way towards the large window overseeing the square down below- the hustle and bustle below provided her with a distraction from the frustrations that sat only inches behind her. A sigh slipped from pink lips, side leaning against the thick glass as eyes fell closed. “What a mess—”
Enyo didn't make a habit of frequenting the Erudite compound -- faction before blood and all that fun stuff. However, waiting in the atrium of the main building, she wonders why she really left; Erudite suited the calmer sides of her mind. Thumb running over bruised, scarred knuckles, she gives a small grin to herself and knows that nothing could be better than her Dauntless life. A little lackey comes back and says Jeanine isn't busy -- at least, no one else has been in her office for the past half hour. He doesn't quite meet Enyo's eyes and she wonders, briefly, why he's even employed under Jeanine if he's this pathetic in the company of a Dauntless. Standing quietly outside Jeanine's office, she waits until the weakling leaves until she knocks on the door. Upon hearing the muffled comment she opens the door and forces a peace-making smile onto her lips before closing the door behind her. "How is the research going, Ms. Matthews?"
"Depends on what rules you’re going to change today."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
yeah take that number and multiply it by 8356982374924587821846285 and then you’re about an eighth of the way there.

{♚}—;; ”You’re late. I hope you have a good excuse.”
"I'm so sorry, ma'am. My -- parents . . ." were being ridiculous? difficult? completely unmanageable? "Weren't letting me out of the house."
dark starter sentences
some yandere, some angst, some rivalry, but no happy stuff on this list
"You actually thought i cared about you?"
"I wonder how loudly i can make you scream in agony?"
"You're a monster!"
"It would be a shame if i had to damage that pretty face of yours."
"You're all mine now."
"How could you do this to me!?"
"I trusted you!"
"Is that supposed to scare me?"
"Put the knife down."
"You're scaring me..."
"You look so sexy when you're all bloodied and bruised like that~"
"I wonder how many volts it would take to kill you?"
"Why are you pointing that gun at me?"
"Let me go!"
"You're so cute when you struggle like that~"
"Your blood smells wonderful."
"Who did this to you?"
"You're in my way."
"I thought you were dead!"
"Help me!"
"Long live the king."
"What did they do to you?"
"What have you done?"
"Maybe i should carve a pretty picture in your flesh?"
"Don't worry, I won't do anything fatal, I just need some information."
"I don't care what you do to me, I'll never tell you!"
"Stop it, your hurting me!"
"They'll kill you!"
"I hate you."
"The only reason I chained you up is to show you how much I love you!"
"If you keep struggling like that I'll have to punish you~"

"Is that what you do? Throw anyone who resists even a little bit to their death?" Of course, it had been threatened before, but Enyo had a way of making it real. Maybe she’d gone a bit too far this time, but it wasn’t like she could just shut up and back out now—that would be showing submission (which, in retrospect, might have been a good thing). “I don’t think that’s very brave of you. In fact, it seems a bit cowardly.” She’s so close to Enyo that she has to tilt her head slightly so that their noses aren’t smushed together, and she can feel the woman’s breath on her lips.
If the question phased Enyo, it certainly didn't show. "No ---- not everyone. Just the annoying little brats." She grins again, seeming to relax. "Like you," she says in a singsong voice -- it doesn't sound terribly pleasant coming from her. She doesn't step back, despite the uncomfortable closeness they now share. Stepping back shows weakness. She'll let Griffin shove her away.
"Why don’t you come over here and prove it?"
"Prove what, sweetheart?"

"And what if I think your orders are bullshit?" Grif knew she was taking a risk—a stupid one, really. She should just shut up and do what she was told, but since when has she ever done that? She wouldn’t lie—she was kinda scared. However, she wouldn’t back down. At least, not yet.
"What if they find your body at the bottom of the Chasm tomorrow morning?" she hissed, grin disappearing just as quickly as it came. If it were possible, Enyo crowded further into Grif's personal space, pressing her hands flat against the rock behind her. "Because you wouldn't be the first person to 'jump', Griffin."
