i love the fact that in the webseries adam drags the chicken around in the tiniest circle. like he understood the use of chicken on a string but completely failed to realize that you're meant to circle it with like a mile radius

michael socha (tom) in the cage
damien molony (hal) in two weeks in august

aidan turner (mitchell) in rivals
jason watkins (herrick) in dirty business
sinéad keenan (nina) in how to get to heaven from belfast

shuffling forward really shy and gay opening palms slowly..... tom mcnair x pinkpantheress edit.. did anyone order this..
annie didn't even know this about herself but she would be such a great cuckchair fujo. ultimate fulfilment. literally s1 e1 she asks to watch george transform, aka asks to sit in on an extremely private and emotionally loaded thing that he does naked. mitchell says it would build character and helps her goad george into agreeing. fujo cuckchair strike numero uno. in s2 she spends a lot of time messing w other ppl's lives and interfering specifically w their love lives bc she thinks she knows best. not a fujo moment but major cuckchair director energy so this is the second strike. the third ofc is that in s3 she came up w the idea of watching her boyfriend have sex w a stranger so she could get hot and bothered by it (she ended up mostly bothered and it wasn't really hot for anyone involved in the end bc these ppl are first and foremost messy bitches but that's irrelevant it's the thought that counts) and of course, she wrote a fucking script of "sexy lines" to get mitchell in the mood. that woman was meant to backseat drive as their live in roommate fucked her boyfriend. need I say more
Are they bi?
Tom McNair from Being Human UK (TV)
Yeah, he's bi!
I could see it
No, but he is queer
Nah, he is straight
Gimmie the results
Propaganda:
I very much struggle to enjoy much of US being human but what i will say is that they ACED it on the casting of Josh, the George analog. God he is so pathetic puppy who gets naked wayy too frequently. And Nora? SUPERB cast for American Nina. So mature, self sufficient. Do I like any of their plots? Uh.
Sally thoo, she is RAD. Significantly different energy than Annie, but her character has a different purpose and much different relationships to the other characters. But I LOVE Sally and her energy, and her ability to be a total freak with weird shit going on.
second revelation this is further proof of the official werewolf criteria of 1) sad sopping dog who 2) gets naked like it's a hobby: TOM MCNAIR!!!!!
gonna start wolfblood posting soon… why is it so barren

Renata Sketch Mashup! Thought it'd be cool to share these as part of "The story behind Werewolf Rage"! Which page did you like the most? 🐺
Newly-turned werewolves who start isolating themselves and becoming hermit-like (because wolves are naturally suspicious of humans) unless/until they surround themselves with trusted individuals, making them happier and more well-adjusted.
Newly-turned vampires starting out as amicable and charming (to effectively lure in prey), but over many years lose the ability (and the patience) to relate to and build trust with human beings, and move/are pushed further and further into the outskirts of society. Eventually, they mainly prey on people who are alone or have slipped through the cracks.
being human more like being bisexual
It’s been years and I still keep seeing meta in Being Human (UK) tags about Annie not needing love plotlines, and people framing this take as feminism. And I understand where this opinion comes from. Had Annie been a white woman, this opinion would’ve been fair. But the thing is that Annie Sawyer is not a white woman. She’s Black. She’s a Black female character in a TV show that came out in 2009 – at the time when Black women on TV (and movies) were mostly delegated to a desexualized BFF Mammy roles or a disposable Black girlfriend trope.
And here’s a thing, I love Being Human dearly, but also can admit that it’s a product of its time – there’s not much diversity here, only one gay character in s2 and he’s there for only one episode (though, they did kind of the unburied your gays with him and later gave him a HEA in the added bonus material) and only two significant Black characters in the entire 5 season run – Annie being one of them (Milo from s4 is the other and they did him dirty by not bringing back for s5).
It’s also very unlikely that the writers were intentionally trying to be progressive or something. They were simply writing her as they would’ve had, had she been played by a white actress (the pilot!Annie was played by Andrea Riseborough). But despite or because of that Annie’s writing was progressive from the standpoint of the writing for Black female characters at the time. Annie's writing was great for a female character in general.
Annie was the main FC, she was fully rounded, not a stereotype. She went through the full scope of a character development from the show pilot to her exit episode – from a meek and abused girl, who thought that she’s week and powerless to the strong young woman who saved the world. She wasn’t fridged for MC’s manpain, in fact, she was the last of her original cast of trio to leave the show, outlasting her male costars. She wasn’t sidelined by the plot to fade into the background – she was loved by the MC and cherished by her friends. She had her independant plotlines. And, frankly, she’s the only BH character out of the main six that got her full HEA – as much as this show allows HEAs (the fake HEA in 5x06 doesn’t count). Like it or not but Lenora’s Annie was always the girly girl type of a character who loved romance, girly things, wanted a loving boyfriend/husband/family of her own, she wanted to be a mother, and in a way she got all of these things.
It was progressive that Annie wasn’t a strong Black woman that needs no love interest trope. I’m not saying anything new here – many Black BH fans were saying this through years.
