Announcing: Vampire Emmy and the Garbage Girl!

Emmy is a vampire, but she’s past all that brooding, Ann Rice stuff. She just wants to kick back, watch Netflix, and eat some bloody cheese fries. Annabelle is the new trash collector on the block…tall, strong, and with shoulders to die for. They meet over a garbage bag of the aforementioned cheese fries, and the rest is history.

Vampire Emmy and the Garbage Girl—created by Pat Shand and Roberta Ingranata (Robyn Hood, “Anonymously Yours” in Dates)—is 22 pages of gorgeous art, snappy banter, and heartwarming story. The book will debut at Heroes Con, but look for it online in early June! And, of course, stay tuned right here for updates as the book comes together.

I went to the MET during my stay in new york and stared a lot of paintings for a long time! I really wanted to try out some of the techniques and looks I saw on the paintings and so I did this when I got back :D then sadly I got knocked out by the flu LOL so I had to stop working for like 4 whole days… I am still not anywhere near recovered but at least I have the strength to work again. I think the amoutn of time I had to wait between looking at paintings at the MET and drawing made my initial hopes of learning from those paintings even harder. it’s probably best for me to do studies on those paintings if I want to learn anything from them rather than trying to skip that step _(:3」 ∠)_I am not too happy with the outcome compared to what I wanted, but at least it came out pleasantly, and I’m sure you can tell which part i enjoyed painting the most as always LOL. hope you guys like it!
