Stefan Appreciation Week 2016 Day 04: Favorite ship(s)
character moodboard —– juliette banner & verse 006. ( ft. @bloodysaviour ).
that feeling when all your drafts are done
She’s heard before that she supposedly knows him better than any —- at least, according to the other men in their company. Likely she’s accused of such simply because of their near constant proximity — Juliette was very rarely further than shouting distance from the other, & for good reason. She was a vital asset in this war, a power piece, & as such, an all too obvious target. It wasn’t that she was incapable of protecting herself, but rather, that he was far more capable of protecting them both. So it’s lucky, really, that they possessed such a natural chemistry with one another – else they’d have tired of each other long before now.
❛ — that sounds nice. Cozy. ❜ comes a soft commentary, the doctor listening all too intently as she tends to dinner. Despite what the others said, she never felt like she knew him well enough ( or at least, as well as she yearned to ). & so she hangs on to every word, though in doing so, is far from oblivious to the way his tone changes, before words are deflected elsewhere entirely.
She knows better than to push ( even if she knows he’ll let her get away with it to some degree ).
❛ My father taught me the recipe. Brought it back from a family he stayed with, doing freelance medical work outside of Menmari, in West Bengal. ❜ she explains, sprinkling garam masala into the pan, the spices tickling at her nose. ❛ He wasn’t home much. Spent a lot of time working out in rural Asia, the South Pacific islands. I used to resent him for it. Though lately … well, I guess all it took was a pandemic to help me understand his way of thinking for all those years. ❜
A pause — sigh exhaled. She doesn’t speak of him, much. Hadn’t even before the outbreak. She loved her father, more than anything. Perhaps why it was so difficult to speak of him as though he were a stranger, little more than a memory to her, now. He may as well be a ghost.
Cognac hues flicker upwards, catch his gaze. Juliette offers a smile, shaking her head just so. ❛ ——- I never had any siblings. Always used to beg my mother to bring one home for me. ❜
It was true, what some of the men were saying. Juliette did know him better than anyone. After losing his family, Stefan had become a shell of who he’d once been. Gone was the optimistic, tender- hearted person the Salvatore had been before the outbreak. In that man’s place, the realist, no-bs soldier stood in his place.... until Juliette had entered his life.
She made him want to care again, want to be that tender, optimistic person, if only to show Juliette that this wasn’t impossible. That they could get through this and bring the world back to its former glory. And so, Stefan had let her in, spent more time talking with her than he had with anyone else at the base. Even if she couldn’t tell, Stefan had told her more about himself and had been more open, more willing to being open anyway, with her. And that was saying something.
The soldier offered her a small, understanding smile, knowing what that was like. “My...my father still consulted in international affairs, with the government. So he was away a lot too.” he replied. Stefan knew that his father wasn’t the best role model. In the last year or so, Stefan thought that his father was probably cheating on his mother. And he’d gotten rougher with he and Damon than he’d ever been on the twins but, as long as all of them were happy, ignorance was bliss. Besides, it didn’t matter now...
“He’d always bring us back something, dolls for the twins, jewelry for my mom, books for me, and music for Damon before he’d hop on another plane...--Is your father still...?”
“They can be a handful, especially younger siblings but...they’re great, really.....Does your father like being a doctor?”
Lead Me into Temptation// Stefan & Elena
♚ The mere sight of seeing her noble knight so broken, so shattered had the princess nearly crippled. Rage, sorrow, relief. Several emotions were running through her veins, wanting to pull her in different directions. This was supposed to be a grand new start, not a terrifying end to the best thing that she had ever known. She could get her vengeance on the king at a later date. What was important now was getting Stefan to the safety of her own kingdom before sunrise, to her father. As she grabbed the key she had realized just how much trouble she had caused for the people that she swore to always honor and protect. When she told her father about her own sins, there was no doubt that he would disown her in an attempt to rebuild some sort of alliance with the king. She had single-handedly destroyed everything between two kingdoms and that was something that was going to weigh heavily on her conscious until she knew everything had subsided. Pushing herself to her feet, she practically stumbled over to the wall. Wrapping her fingers around the small metal, she rushed back over to Stefan’s side. Her hands were shaking from the anxiety of it all. She could barely get the key in the lock. At this rate the knights were going to come back and find them both. No. She couldn’t let that happen. Once both locks were open, she tried to inspect his injuries. “Put your weight against me. I can help you until we get to the stables. This will be over soon, I promise. I’m sorry for dragging you into this nightmare. I will make it all up to you.”
This was not what was supposed to happen. Stefan was supposed to be the one whisking her away from this place, saving her from the king that would never really love her the way Elena deserved to be loved. But after their last kiss? All of that had changed. The king had found out from a guard who had spotted them no doubt, and they’d brought him down here where the guards had been ordered to beat him until he was near dead. Not dead, mind you. The king wanted to deliver that blow himself.
But now here they were, the princess unlocking the chains that bound his battered body to the wall as she tried to get him out of the castle so both of them could escape. He had failed. Failed in getting her here without a hitch, because he had been the hitch. Had failed at making sure their marriage was finalized. He had been the cause of the end of a marriage that had barely even began.
“E---Elena....” his voice was barely a whisper as all of his weight fell on her, biting his bottom lip to keep from shouting out at the pain. “You shouldn’t....you shou---” Stefan was trying to tell her that she shouldn’t be here. That she should go back to the king. Because in this land? What he said, goes. And the last thing he wanted was for Elena to be punished for just trying to save him. He shouldn’t have told her how he really felt; they would never have been in this much trouble if he had. “Y--you have nothing to be sorry for...”
She wanted him. There was a deep seated throbbing at her core and she ground down harder into him with a muffled groan against his lips, trying to satisfy it. A part of her mind, that was small and in the corner, told her she should stop now and wait. Because that’s what good girls did. They didn’t jump the guy they had a crush on the first chance they got, they strung them along until they were sure that sex wasn’t all they wanted. But she was so tired of being the good girl.
For once, she was doing what she wanted and wasn’t regretting a damn part of it so far.
She inhaled sharply at the sudden change in position, her legs locking around him, not wanting to fall in his grip. A sigh of relish when he started to worship her with his mouth. Just feeling him map his way out across her skin with his lips, his tongue, his teeth. Her legs parted to allow him to lay between them. Goosebumps rippled up her skin as he pushed her shirt up and unbuttoned her pants. She wet her lips and nodded, anticipation and lust bright in her eyes.
Bonnie’s nod of approval was all he needed. Stefan pulled her pants down and off, tossing them on the other end of the couch. He bit his bottom lip as he admired her tone legs, panties hugging close to her center. The vampire’s green eyes remained on her as he hooked his fingers into either side of her panties and pulled them down and off, putting them in his back pocket with a small smirk before his lips began to descend.
He pressed a kiss right above her clit, then one on her nether lips. He could practically taste her arousal already. She was already getting wet for him... “Have you ever....done any of this, before?” he asked softly, bringing his thumb to press down on her clit, swirling it in slow, small circles to begin. His eyes fell back on her as hers as he pressed a gentle kiss to her abdomen again, stroking the slit of her core. He wanted to know how gentle or not gentle he could be.
Be My Muse
Charlee thought her enthusiasm might have been too much, and Stefan might think that she was just childish now. But he didn’t. And actually he seemed excited too. Maybe it really was ok to be herself?
She smiled when he came to open her door and took his hand to get out. “Well, you mentioned food? Would you like to get something to eat first?” She suggested.
He grinned and laced his fingers with hers, smiling at how excited she was. At that gorgeous smile on her face. Stefan was beyond glad that he could be the one to introduce her to the wonder that was Coney Island. It would be a fun date.
“Sure. Food first it is.” Stefan began to walk with her down the way, offering her a big smile for a moment before biting his bottom lip. What was it that she did to him? “What do you feel like eating? They’ve got hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders and wings. Some of the best kinds of food you’ll ever taste,” the artist chuckled.
“I…” She frowned, looking away from him, almost embarrased to tell him. “Well we were happy, in a home in the middle of nowhere– and then i got sick, and old and you– well you didn’t.” She said softly, and as quickly as possible. “Is it? I’m glad i help.” She smiled, kissing the tip of his nose. Tilting her head to the side playfully. “Waffles, always waffles, with whip cream, and strawberries.” She said excitedly looking into his eyes. April loved being this close to him.
He listened and a small frown graced his lips, hating that she’d had a dream like that; “Baby....” His thumb stroked her cheek gently. The vampire knew that she wanted to turn so that they could be together like this forever...but there was so much more to it than that. It would change her whole life. And Stefan just..didn’t want her to make a decision just because of him. “You always help,” he replied softly, smiling at the kiss to his nose. Hearing how giddy she was at the thoughts of waffles made his smile grow even more, kissing her gently before nuzzling her nose. “Waffles with whipped cream and strawberries it is, then.”
Clumsy humans.
April grinned, blushing lightly at his words. “Promise?” She asked, everyone always seemed to leave eventually. But she never wanted him to leave. Feeling his hand move into her hair, she let out a soft groan, deepening the kiss. Arching her back as if to try to get closer. Her hands going to rest on his chest. Pressing down slightly as if to grab hold of him. “I. like. you. so. much.” She murmured between kisses. He’s yet to tell her he loves her, and she is too nervous to say it first.
“I promise,” Stefan responded with a smile; he knew that she’d lost a lot of people in her life, but the vampire wasn’t going to be one of them. The hand that was on his hip slid to grip her behind, bringing her closer to him as she pressed down into him. He chuckled softly at her words, kissing her back before he nipped her bottom lip. “Good...because I..I love you.” He’d finally said it. And God did it feel good. “I’m in love with you,” he whispered softly, against her lips, opening his eyes so he could meet her gaze, hoping that she really felt the same way.
Oh my,I’m so...oh hi!
“Well,um..it’s the funniest thing.” Saph said, taking a sip of her drink. She still couldn’t believe her luck that they were both going to the theater. “I’m in the production the theater is working on. People were right saying I’d be a good theater actress and singer…and well, here I am!” She let out a little girl as she grinned. “How about you?”
“Really?” he asked, stunned honestly because there was no way this was a coincidence now. “I’m going to be in one of the theatre’s productions too.” He knew that Saph had been an amazing actress in some of the plays the school had put on, and he wasn’t surprised that she was doing well in the profession now. “This is crazy. What part are you playing?” he asked with a soft chuckle, opening the theatre door for her once they got there.
she wanted to see stefan, really she did. but honestly, she didn’t know where her and lissa were going to end up. they didn’t usually stay in one place too long. lissa’s family had a lot of enemies and they all wanted to use lissa to get to them.
“i don’t know, stefan. i’m constantly worried about her getting hurt. unless, you think that being in town there would be people that could protect her.” she’d just thought of it on the spot but where else would they be safer than with a town of vampires that they trusted.
He knew that it was hard for Rose and Lissa to stay in one place since their enemies were hounding after them left and right. But that didn’t mean that Stefan didn’t want to try and work something out.
“My friends and I could help, sure,” Stefan responded with a small nod, offering her a smile. “We’ve fought against some of the worst so, it wouldn’t be the first time....--Does that mean there’s a chance that you’ll stay?”
Hey you...
“Hey you..”
Morri settled into to him further as he gave her a squeeze. She turned to him and nuzzled gently. “Me too… You have come to mean so much to me.” Whispering gently as she looks up to meet his eyes. Their future was so uncertain and yet Morrigan knew that they would get through it together. She gently strokes his arm as she listens to his explanation. “Me? Really?” She murmured curiously. “ Well… I hadn’t been thinking about it at first, but… Now… I want to do things. Not sure exactly what and I’d like it very much if you were with me.” Blushing lightly, as she snuggled into him.
Her heart skipped a little bit, before kissing him slowly. “You know, I don’t think I ever told you this but… I am really glad I ran into you that first day in town. If I hadn’t… I don’t know if I would still be here now.” Her smile brightened a little. “What do you say we get out of Mystic Falls when we graduate? Maybe go travelling and see where we end up…”
God she was beautiful. And his. He belonged by Morrigan’s side just like she belonged at his. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for the budding young witch in his arms. She had become his heart, and he never wanted to let what they had go. Stefan smiled and kissed her temple gently. holding her close as she snuggled in. “I will be there for those things, and every thing after that,” he teased softly.
Stefan kissed her back tenderly, resting his head against hers. “I’m glad we met too....I don’t know what I would be doing right now if I hadn’t met you.” His smile always grew when she smiled, biting his bottom lip. “That sounds perfect? We can travel the world, go places we’ve never been to, try things we’ve never done...It would be a lot of fun. Just you and me.”
“I need all the ice cream in the world, Salvatore. Don’t act like you haven’t known me for three years now. You know my needs and wants especially when I’m trapped in this kind of situation with you.”
“Okay okay, all the ice cream we can find, coming up. But you won’t know where I’ll hide it when we get there. And you are not trapped. You said, verbatim: ‘Let’s do something different!’ This is something different.”
Bella let a small smirk grow on her face, looking up as she swept her strands from the frame of her face. “Well I don’t think I can try everything, as you say. But literally, even if I wanted to, I still don’t know where to start. I don’t really know what I like and dislike because I didn’t really let myself get out there after moving out here. It’ll be a process going off to college that I’m not really looking forward to.”
“I meant everything you wanna try smart ass,” he chuckled, shaking his head with a small sigh. “You may not know now but, just wait until you get on the actual campus and start before you start thinking about what you wanna do after college. And college will be an easier transition, hopefully. It’ll definitely be a lot easier moving into a place without all of the supernatural happenings day after day. You’ll be okay Bells. You’re a survivor.”
