if i ranked the saw films i’d get bashed so much because saw IV is my favourite

i fucking hate how art was literally put in TWO traps for doing his fucking job. like yes, he defended some pretty bad people like ivan, but that’s literally what he made a living off. we obviously saw that he’s a nice person, being friendly to john and reassuring eric that he shouldn’t worry about him, and he won’t hurt him. when john rudely told him to get out, he kindly left. he was a great person who made a few mistakes, but hasn’t everyone??? he was an amazing person who deserved so much better. he was great at his job.

regarding him defending people like ivan (serial rapist) and rex (abuser), what else was he supposed to do when these people came to him for help? say no? he obviously didn’t have a choice. he did his job well. i guarantee he regrets defending them.
