The issue I have with writers doing a "plus-size reader being insecure, so sex is the solution" trope is that it just sexualizes us. Insecurity can also stem from sexualization, just like it can from rejection. Plus-size people face objectification every day, and you're a part of it. It's also so unrealistic; if I'm feeling insecure about my body, the last thing I'd want is someone groping my naked body. Imagine if you were really thirsty and instead of someone giving water, they spit in your face and say, "Well, it's a liquid." That's what y'all are doing with those fic tropes. You're saying, "Oh, you have insecurities? Here's a fic about you getting your puss ate." Also, 99% of these authors who write plus-size characters like that are not plus-size themselves. So, instead of doing research or even talking to a bigger person, they write a crappy, half-assed fic that they think is so different. They praise themselves like they're fucking Liberace. I can give you a quick outline of these fics.

•reader is insecure
•character comes in
•reader cries
•character and reader have sex.
You're like everyone else who treats us like we are not more than our bodies, you're just doing it in a performative way. You're not different, nothing you're doing is new, and if I'm being honest every insecurity->sex fic I've seen has been fucking trash.
The fact that this is something I've been wanting to address, but was too nervous in posting because of how normalized it is and I didnt want to be seen as overreacting is, I feel proof of this. I used to actively seek out those fics in order to have some type of comfort when going thru an episode of body dysmorphia, but I soon learned that is was more hurtful than healing. The sad thing is that when we try to talk about stuff like this people dont care to take it seriously. And ik that the authors of most of these fics arent poorly writing this scenario maliciously, its just that ignorance on this topic has been so widespread and consistently regurgitated in the same format for decades. Unless youve experienced it, unless you're already aware of how damaging it is to immediately think sex is the "fix-all" for insecurities; then you simply write out what u've seen from previous fics. The same formula OP laid out. And then you (author) sees it as an accomplishment, cross it off their to-do list and moves on. Ultimately these requests are always seen as smth that they have to do, the boring ask, the "sweet touchy feely I can make this person feel better" ask.
Well it doesnt. I cant recollect a fic ive read where i felt sufficiently comforted, instead it was uncomfortable, I was left wanting, and most of all, ik without a doubt that the author hadnt ever struggled with the complexities of being plus-sized. There is a difference between experiencing body insecurity and being plus sized. Theres outside social comments added onto the already mounting comments in your head. Theres things that your restricted from being able to do, by just existing. Theres the assumption deep down that that compliment was mixed with pity, that that guy isnt staring cuz he likes u - its cuz you're overweight. Its the feeling that there will always be this invisible wall separating you and "everyone". I dont need to be told by my fav character that I'm "a tight fit", " so damn hot", or (my personal hell) that my "soft squishy thighs are nice to hold".
When I used to search out those fics, I was looking - yearning, for someone to be able to voice what I was feeling and then for my comfort character to just.... love me. For there to be lil things that they do that show that they arent blind to my size but doesnt see it as an inconvenience.
Thats the problem in general with most plus sized characters and how they are written, fanfic or original work. The writer always spends such a long time focusing on the size that eventually that becomes the characters personality. And even tho this happens with both men and women, I see its prevalence in women characters so so much more.

But soon he would be able to be complete even tho he knew that without her , he will never be .
After all that he went through, not feeling whole like something is missing inside of him and a voice in his head that wanted him to be finally a hybrid and eventually led him to a Doppelganger in mystic falls that his brother was conspiring with to kill him and they all will be happy but he was not . Sometimes he thought about dying so he can get a chance of seeing her , some other times he was dreaming of what could their future together, drawing her or even sensing her but looking for her and finding nothing he thought that he was going crazy , he didn't know what he actually felt for her .
After gathering all of the ingredients for the spell . The doppelganger, the witch , the vampire, the werewolf, he had so many backups for the backups , he was paranoid and after Damon's confession of getting back Tayler Lockwood and Caroline Forbes.
They headed to the clearing, the trees some tilting with age and some cut and that's where his witch waited for them to start the spell , trapping them inside of circles . Jenna ( Elena's aunt ) in place of Caroline . Jules which was a wolf in place of Tyler and Elena the doppelganger so they couldn't escape and leave . The sacrifice began Klaus dropped the moonstone in the bowl when the first killing happened the wolf . Removing the circle from around her Klaus ripped out her heart and brought it above the witch's bowl and squeezed it so the blood dropped and pooled in which it reminded him of how he did that with his own blood for the woman that now hunted his dreams , moving to the next . Jenna which tried to run away but he caught get just in time and drove a stake in her heart . Elena's screams and cries filled the place and then . It was Elena's turn to die , as the circle disappeared and Klaus approached her something switch on the air , looking around he didn't notice her, his obsession watching him , again turning back to Elena ready to drain her off of her blood someone spoke .
The same authoritative voice echoed through the forest. Everyone froze. Klaus’s head snapped toward the sound, but he already knew who it belonged to. the witch's chanting stopped clearly sensing the power radiating out of her that overwhelmed her .
" Nicklaus Mikkelson, my little soldier, the anxious and hurt kid " she said and there was the slightest hint of affection in her words. Klaus' s eyes widened in shock and admiration his face showed embarrassment but that didn't last long .
" We met again..." An moment of silence and then he continued. "I am not that boy you saw the last time ! Respect me ! " He said getting angrier by the second
" I know , it's great you are about to complete your true self and form , I was waiting for decades for this and I have came to watch this happen " the smirk on her lips deepend .
" Who are you ?" Elena said suspicious and terrified but no one spared a glance at her
" Please continue, don't let me ruin your plans little Nicklaus " gestured at Elena and almost instantly his fangs tored on her skin and her blood flooded in him as her screams filled the place .
After that he let her body drop limp on the floor, he was happy and fulfilled . There was banging , turning around he saw both Salvatore brothers , his own brother banging on a invisible wall with anger and despair on their faces.
" Oh that is a little gift from me " the woman spoke almost laughing as Klaus turned to her and after he heard smiled and walked towards her with a huge smile on his face , behind her the three vampires looked shocked " I wouldn't let them ruin your plan to fulfill your true self! After some rather inconvenient moments in the past decades " said and her annoyance evidend on her face and a shrug.
" Yes indeed unfortunate events happened so thank you " he said with a smile. The next moment his bones started snapping and breaking , looking up at the sky with yellow glowing eyes , black veins under them and fangs , he transformed into a wolf , the woman dropped the veil and let him get out and run wild , as Elijah tried to run to try and get to him she broke his neck with a glance and the Salvatores ran towards Elena's lifeless body crying and with a shake that showed disapointment disappeared out of thin air wanting to go and sleep * she loved sleeping * at her home .
As Klaus ran away from the clearing he was relieved as a piece of the puzzle finally came into place . He even saw the woman that he loved the most other that his sister Rebekah . Running wild , eating everyone that came into his path finally being free and wild , his black and shining fur waving at the wind . The only thought in his mind was only her ,Y/n . She helped him make his wish come true by not letting the other vampires interrupt them . He knew she was powerful, there are so many books of her that now dissed to exist only because of the witches that tried to erase her existence only because they feared that she will destroy the universe and everyone on it .
After two days he woke up , still in the forest , dirty , naked , his blond hair messy with a few leafs on it and his brother beside him holding clothes for him to wear .
" You found me ... How long was I out ?" Klaus asked his brother
" How could I not find you ? I followed the trial of bodies here . It's been 2 days ..." Elijah replied
" Fantastic I can turn on demand " he yet again replied and laugh softly at the jab from his brother about the bodies.

A friend who could snap his neck with her mind? he said and after that he started walking away from his brother to their home and he followed his last statement with a sentence that made Elijah dropp everything that he thought of and speed up to the pace of his little brother .
" Come on Elijah, we have our siblings to wake up " his voice gave away that he was smiling but his brother too was smiling with the thought of their siblings being reunited again after so many years .

Ester and Mikael moved to the now known as mystic falls to protect their children from illnesses and everything that was going on in the world and as already losing a child she became more adamant to protect them and make them immortal but before the plan came to mind Klaus hiding from his father's rage in the woods found a tomb like building and went inside not even thinking and hide for a few hours but getting bored soon he searched it and deep inside found a statue of a woman , she looked like an ordinary woman not anything special her skin cracked everywhere and a little voice in Klaus's mind told him to take his knife from his pocket and cut himself and dip it on her bowl and he did , because as if he didnt have any control of his body at all and as the drops of blood pooled on the bowl she had in her arms her skin cracked all the way through and as if she came alive and started to wake he walked backwards and found a wall and stayed there not moving , his words dried up in his throat .
When her eyes opened she found a boy with blonde long hair Infront of her and she smirked .

While he was dead he saw her again Infront of him , she didn't spoke to him no matter what he tries to do or say , she just looked at him with white eyes and stroked his cheek with such affection which he did not know what to do because he haven't felt this way before and then he woke up

At first when you met Damon was at school , he came to see / watch his brother just so he can know more about him and Elena , they just got into a relationship and he isn't feeling his best .

I want you alive for now so you will not tell anyone about this and I mean anyone and you are gonna have to cover up your neck for some time so no one knows and you are gonna keep coming with me and you will say i am your boyfriend if anyone asks " his pupils dilated and moved away from you and you got out of the trance of his compulsion
You regained strength so you got up , found your purse and pulled out the cigarette pack and your lighter and moved to his balcony and light up one of them and put it in your mouth, after a long drag you pulled it away and rested your hand to the balcony railing and exhaled . He came beside you and took the cigarette out of your hand and led it to his mouth , after it was done you went to his bed and slept without a word .
The day after, at school it was the same old , going to the classes with your friends they didn't say a word about the scarf around your neck , hanging out at the breaks and eating together at lunch but ever since the first period you felt eyes on you at all time but couldn't locate them so you thought nothing of it and continued your day as normal not seeing the gang ( Elena , Caroline , Bonnie and Stefan ) watching you until the last period which again was history and you hated it , you didn't like it nor the teacher so you were a little miserable and when you got a text from Damon you smiled wide , he wanted to take you after school back to his house and you texted back that you agreed and now you didn't miss the glances they gave you that made you uncomfortable. The bell rang and gathered your stuff in your back bag and went outside to look for Damon when they both cornered you outside as you were smoking a cigarette while waiting for him and that made you jump with surprise .

After that every time you were together they would try to ruin it by being there but you two were unfazed , you also allowed him with his special ways to feed on you and you did it Infront of the others , you lifting your wrist upwards and close to him and he will just bite into it and feed until he is satisfied , you also did it when you were intimate, both finding enthriling and a mayor turn on .
You did things together like driving around the city , shopping, eating out together , eating you out go on adventures if your parents allowed it and if it was on the weekends where you didn't have school.
The group tried to *save* you from him but you were in love with him and you just ignored them sometimes when you were at Damon's house you would hang out together at the living room and they would be there too so occasionally you spoke to either Caroline or Bonnie but not with Elena , you knew she had fellings for Damon and you would get close to his side and that made Elena angry and jealous and lash out to her friends and everyone even if they are asking something simple which they didn't like it and ignore her , Damon's fellings for Elena long gone didn't help her at all and didn't like that very much because he wouldn't jump up to solve her problems or defend her , to that you were happy about and loved to see every interaction with them and laugh inside .

A book with a pretty cover grabbed his attention and took it off the shelf, upon further inspection he understood what it was , a book about a goddess ? They weren't really religious, also not learning it at school got him thinking that maybe it's fictional.
He did decide to buy it though just so he could see what it was about he had a proclivity towards it , a weird attraction like a magnet of sorts.
He delivered a powerful soliloquy reflecting his choice of buying that book which most likely will be left to collect dust in a shelf where all of his books were stored.
After he was done with the errands that holded him up from reading the heavy book that weighted his bag down and returned home , it was lunch time , helping his mum with the food they all it as a family and everyone separated to do their own thing and he did too .
Opening his new book he found that the pages were old , wrinkly , brown and a little torn up just enough so you will be able to read the contents of those pages , just because he had the day free of everything he sat down and read the book starting to believe in the goddess that the book was talking about , there was directions on how to find her , it was rumored that he brought luck , success and granted logical wishes at a cost .

Driving for f1 is not easy but also trying to stream every week or even every other week is much harder but somehow every Friday that she is not racing or even on racing week she religiously she will stream on twitch with her friends in a horror night.

You decided to test it out with your boyfriend on three years, you just returned from work and sat to fix dinner for both you and your boyfriend, the reason why Charles couldn't cook was because he doesn't know how to and also he went to the gym for a bit last minute training.
You decided to cook a long time favourite of your tiki masala for protein still following him diet but not on the dot it was rice with chicken with a sauce a bit simple but still tasteful .
You were finishing when your boyfriend Charles came into the kitchen with wet hair and no shirt on, he just got home and showered.
Kissing your neck softly and speak to you in French and making small conversations you told him to sit on the table and you were coming, plating the food you headed to the table with two plates the one filled to the brim with rice and chicken and thee other very visible less rice and two pieces of chicken.
Setting the on the table you pushed the full plate towards him where he was sitting and the other in your place and sat down, Charles looked up from his plate and sang praises to you for how nice it smelled and how hungry he was and finally his eyes settled down to your plate and he looked at his plate and then yours, that happened a few times and he got an idea
" baby can you do me a favour?" he said softly to you looking deep in your eyes and smiled sweetly

" could you go and get me a bit of breed baby?"
he said, you looked at him confused as to why he would want to eat bread with rice but you still nodded and got up and into the kitchen.
He was looking when you disappeared into the kitchen and looked to your plate and took his fork and started to put a few spoonfuls into your plate and still looking if you were coming which alerted him your slippers on the marble floors that you are coming and he settled down pretending that he was swallowing a mouthful of food and smiled at you, you set the bread you were asked to get and went to sit down on your chair but he again interrupted you and said
" oh mon amor! I am sorry! But I need a bit of cheese too! Can you go get it?"
"uh yeah sure" and off you went to get cheese he repeated the same thing taking food of of his own and into yours until he is satisfied with the portion and started to eat and waiting for you to come back and you did with the cheese.
He took it from your hands and put on a bit and started eating again and looking up at you yo check on you with his beautiful green eyes that make fall in love more and more everyday for those three years.
" baby why is your food so little? I thought I put on more!, wait take some from me! It's important for you to eat!"
You said fussing over him once you realised what he did
" oh non mon bébé ! You eat i am not that hungry so you eat! This is so good! You have to make it more! " he said while smiling and leaned to you and kissed your cheek.

Learning languages was always fun for her she loved communicating with people in their native languages and so she started learning from her teenage years, picking up phrases, sentences, words and expressions from local in every country she was traveling to almost every other week.
Growing up with next to zero friends, not knowing how to make any, always getting separated for being the only Greek driver in any grid either f4, f3, f2 it all changed when she joined f1, first making friends with max which was most expected because they were teammates in red bull and then one by one the other drivers jointed them and formed a huge friend group and having fun with each other on and off the track.
The once shy and socially awkward girl became a woman that simply didn't care, never again the doormat for anyone

That was the title of the video
It was media day, you had a love - hate relationship with your media duties, there are days you like being there but there is also days that you did not want to be there.
Today you loved it because you and your teammate Max Verstappen and Checo Pérez .
You would be doing a video with alpha tauri well technically visa something but you refuse to say it like that.
The video's idea was to line you up with your teammates and the two drivers. Yuki tsunoda, and Daniel Ricciardo.
First was Danny, then yuki, Checo, max and then you. The idea of the video is for the world to see some words in different languages and since it was the Las Vegas Grand Prix the words were inspired by it
The first word was Casino which Danny said then

The media crew came to tell you about the rest of the day what activities you had to complete like driving the floating cars ( or something I don't know what it is) in the sdame place in the desert.

After picking up lando from his hotel we headed out towards the boat that the party is held taking empty wide roads to really drive the thing, drifting and doing a few donuts in an empty parking lot just for the thrill of it but making sure to actually arrive in the boat party you both got out of the car talking and laughing entering and finding Martin by the dj booth.
Greetings were exchanged talking and laughing until the second round of drinks that started to kick in hopping around, dancing and sings to the rhythm being surrounded by the Dutch men.
You two weren't fazed by the phones recording your every move because you were having fun and a little tipsy, not that you would admit it both to anyone that in fact you were drunk continuing with the drinks and having fun and just as you were getting drinks you got elbowed in the face not really hard but enough to cause a little mountain the next hour not really noticeable.
Lando in the other hand just as you were nearing him again was hit or something because his nose was bleeding you drank both of them quickly and ran up to him while near you can see the bloody roll down in this lips and teeth he smiled at you teeth bloody, you started to laugh at the situation. Someone had a first aid kit and you cleaned the wound putting a plaster on the cut and a bandage wrapped around his head loosely because you were drunk it was going to be messy.
When you finished you started to laugh again at his stupid look he looked like a mummy but who cares? You two didn't nor did the men around you so you both continued dancing, bouncing, shouting lyrics and drinking again. You weren't piss drunk you could think and walk straight and so was lando, playing some songs with martin lando djing for a bit so will could take a break, talking to you laughing and gossiping about news lately and having fun and creating the mood for the actual club that Will, Lando and you will be going to after the pre party in the boat. You were sure you will regret going to another club but current you don't care about it, future you maybe.
You weren't a light weight by any means, starting drinking from a young age and in your teenage years going out drinking almost everyday drinking made it hard for you to get drunk so you were good by half of the actual party in the club but you wouldn't say lando was the same...
Cutting your night in the what you seen fit as to lando wouldn't start throwing up but you could see he was ready to do anyway calling a taxi and telling him the directions of your hotel so you won't drive while drunk.
Taking him by his bicep and wrapping one hand around his shoulder and the other in his arm you payed for the drinks you ordered and left, waiting for the taxi to arrive he was talking to you, whispered things, making sentences up that made no sense, talking gibberish almost falling in his face while you were laughing and loose the grip around him and quickly regaining strength keeping his upright the taxi finally arrived.
Getting him inside and going arout the car so you could take care of him he laid his head in your lap while you slowly and softly graced your hand through his brown curls and stroking his cheek softly while he closed his eyes smiled and opening one eye to look up at you periodically while you made small conversations with the driver which was a fan of the sport and you learned his daughter's favourite driver was you from a young age looking up at you and asking for a photo with you, he wanted a photo with lando but he was asleep so you decided against it, when you arrived you took his phone got a selfie with him and one alone from a high angle so he was visible but not his face just his hat and hoodie that he got out with, you paid the driver and slowly got out of the car and went around the car again opening the door taking his hand waking him up a little so he can get out but he feel asleep again on you as you closed the door.
You again wrapped a hand around him and holding his other firmly you opened the hotel door and getting inside the building, the receptionist was eyeing you but you didn't care you were determined to get him safe and tugged in, heading in the elevator you waited for the doors to close and pressing the button of your level.looking at the mirror you see on your dress a bit of blood from lando's nose you looked a bit disheveled with your eye sparkly eyeshadow somehow under your eye, the lipstick long gone now in its place your lip pencil a bit smeared around the corners of your mouth, in your forehead a little knob and in lando having his head buried in your neck seamingly asleep by his slow rhythmed breathing that was hitting your neck practically hugging you, the elevator pinged letting you know that you got to your floor you started trying to wake him up to stop hugging you but he didn't budged you decide to just carry him to your door which was easier taking out your card key which luckily you took out of your wallet in the taxi and opened the door.
Upon entering you left him to the bed trying once again to gently wake him up so he could change, you left the club at 4 :30 and now you read the clock it said 5 : 30 so you did all of this in an hour and in heels... He is gonna pay fro this but for now you laid a hoodie that you had oversized and long shorts again oversized that you knew that would fit you took your pj's and headed to the bathroom, you washed your face to get rid of the make up and changed out of the dress and heels.
Going again the the bed you saw lando's clothes messily tossed around the side of the bed he was occupying and in your clothes, the hoodie was one of your merch with a red bull logo in the back and you are not gonna tell that to him, wanting him to walk out with it, he was lying in your bed the covers covering most of him but his back and head out you took a picture and tugged him in and walking to your side of the bed pulling up the covers and getting in falling asleep almost instantly, felling a pair of hands wrapping around you and a head to your neck going closer to lando cuddling up on you and falling asleep peacefully

Waking up in the morning was a struggle, you wouldn't say it was really a morning but evening waking up at 1pm by calls on your phone. Lando still asleep but starting to stir awake too by the annoying ringing of your phone you took your phone from the night stand you answered the phone without looking who it was

Max lower your voice... I have been sleeping what do you want? I am in my hotel room rn sleeping

Omg max can you interrogate me later? Let me sleep man...( a raspy voice could be heard in the background : stop talkinggg and then a sigh) shut up. Anyway I will call you back lat-

I said and hand up the call not waiting for max to reply and rolled over now cuddling lando and falling asleep again for a few minutes then waking up by lando leaving the bed.
After he got a shower he came back and by then I dressed up to get food because I was starving waiting for lando you go together. We did you got a few pictures with fan and got food.
After that you called max and explained everything at some point max came with us to a few stored and hung out together and took max's plane and went to Monaco each to their own homes.
