I was very happy to wake up this morning and be able to do some lovely Christmas morning knitting with my family while we watched a Christmas movie!

Once again ignoring the Christmas gifts breathing down my neck and starting a shirt for me, oh well 🤷‍♀️.

It’s a self drafted top out of this nice linen wool mix I got from a hand dyed yarn shop near me.

I’ve finished the neck ribbing and started the raglan increases, photos featuring my amalgamation of stitch markers

I made myself a lovely bright top for this winter, I love the yellow color. This is the forest breeze top on ravelry, and it’s made in ice yarns alara in the color yellow.

Starting on a new Christmas gift since I’ve finished all but one that I had already started on! This is the in a whirl scarf on ravelry. And it’s being made in cascade yarns heritage in limestone, silver grey, and black. I quite like the pattern so far, it’ll be a nice repeatable, mindless project

We made Christmas cookies today, plenty of gingerbread men, hearts, stars, and Christmas trees to go around.

On the road again and enjoying a beautiful sunset, I’m excited for the upcoming break but also sad about what I’ll be missing

I’ve had so much time to work on my projects today so I’ve made a lot of progress!! I’m on the last pattern section which is alternating x stitches and like a tapestry treble crochet. I’m excited to finish it because I’m going to block it and seam the sides together and I’m also choosing to close off all the ends by braiding them together down the seam which I haven’t done before and should be really fun (fingers crossed)

Another Christmas gift! This one is fun and kind of a challenge because I am a huge color lover but this person prefers plain colors and more texture in the things they wear so I’m trying to come up with some fun designs :D

I’m speed making a hat for a date I have in a few days! It’s going to be a like a cat ear beanie with ties at the bottom that also kind of covers my ears

I finished my blue sweater! I really like the sleeves I made on it, they’re just really fun. I definitely wan to remake a similar sleeve because when blocking it grew a lot and there’s not as strong of a silhouette as intended. It’s a super comfortable sweater though and I am loving the cuffs!

I finished my sweater!! All that’s left is blocking :D if anybody has any hacks about wet blocking something in a small space with limited material please please share :)

I made my first real snowball the other day, it’s all snow and doesn’t even have any large chunks of dirt or grass in it. I also nailed my target so it was a big win for me

I went to a fun little painting night put on by my school and was able to make a nice painting and a cute little two sided ornament

I went to a group knit night last night. It was so fun! I was able to cast on my second sleeve and am a little over half way on it. I’m so close to having a finished sweater :)
