"well, love, i'm glad you're okay...but i'd like for you to be more careful next time." though he knew you were completely fine, his tone was still a bit stern. cyno knows your strength, but that doesn't eliminate the worries he carries for you.
"so? are you gonna start watching my every move?"

Wanderer:
- wanderer honestly likes seeing you being independent at times, just watching you do your thing from afar (not in a creepy way, more in a "look at my girl go" kind of way)
- he's not extremely affectionate, so the fact that you can go off on your own and not constantly be by his side is nice for him
- with that being said, you're still his girlfriend, and he wouldn't hesitate to defend you or back you up, but imagine his surprise when he sees you flawlessly stick up for yourself
- wanderer is definitely happy with your strength, he finds it pretty admirable, and he even finds himself learning from you

"sweetheart, you're cold." the scribe stated, pulling you into a tight hug. he engulfed you in his much-larger frame, spreading a familiar warmth through your body as you hugged him back. being on the shorter side, you nestled your head just below his chest, since that's the highest point of his body you could comfortably lean against.
"i always am, 'haitham." you mumbled, snuggling closer to him.
but that was two weeks ago, and since then you found yourself continuously coming back. day by day you were nestled in the scribe's hold, with him simultaneously doing his work and keeping you warm. and while he would find anyone else to be a disturbance, he greatly appreciates your company.
"are you warm enough?" he'd ask.
"hmm, not quite." so, he'd pull you even closer on his lap, pressing his chest to your back. it never failed to make you blush and make you warm inside and out.
Wanderer:

- mount wario would also be on that list if he didn't find it so irritating to race on
- albedo has a pretty good grasp on the game mechanics but he will always let you win, even knocking down the npc's to help you out
Childe:
- definitely mains inkling boy, but sometimes he'll play as one of bowser's kids (because they're all annoying)
- i also think he'd pick combos that fit the current meta, like the inkstriker or biddybuggy
- totally plays it in his downtime and even invites his siblings to join him
- his favorite track would probably be wario's gold mine, it just fits him
- disturbingly good at the game and probably even knows how to dodge a blue shell with a mushroom, a professional player, if you will
- as we all know, childe is very competitive, he will not let you win unless you're in a sour mood
Diluc:
- dilucs a relatively simple guy, so he goes for the full standard combo, which is actually pretty viable for the game
- almost always plays mario, but will use tanooki mario if you ask him to
- i think diluc would like courses that take place during the nightime and don't change where you go every lap
- that being said he despises baby park, he gets shelled left and right and it drives him crazy
- he's another one that only plays when you ask him to, gaming isn't something diluc is too interested in
- he's an alright player and poses no challenge when the two of you play together, he's really just there to have some fun and relax with you :)
Thoma:
- link main. argue with the wall.
- i think thoma would be pretty big on other nintendo games like the legend of zelda, so when he saw he could play link no other characters mattered to him
- i can also see him picking the teddybuggy or biddybuggy, not only because they're good kart options, but he also finds them to be pretty cute
- his favorite courses are most definitely animal crossing and hyrule circuit, the two of you play animal crossing new: horizons together all the time and as i mentioned he loves the legend of zelda
- overall he's a pretty good player, definitely plays in his downtime and loves having friendly competitions with you
- there's an unspoken agreement between you and him where you'll help each other out to win to guarantee getting 3 stars on the cup, it all depends on who wins the first race
Wanderer:
- mains morton because you hate the vile noises he makes while racing, wanderer can't get enough of disturbed expression
- when he plays online he usually plays cat peach to piss other people off (people hate her for some reason)
- he'd tell you he likes tracks like bowser's castle and grumble volcano since there's constant fire and chaos throughout the tracks
- but he secretly loves sweet sweet canyon because it reminds him of you, his sweet girl
- super competitive and loves irritating you by trailing you or sniping you with green shells and bombs
- but if he sees you getting visibly upset because he's making you get bad placements, he'll pick his act up and start helping you win
