pj warriors are separate from base fun gang entirely. they cannot transform or interact with the base fun gang shimejis.

base fun gang- kris, susie, and ralsei with two separate versions for each of them (light/dark or hat/hatless)

Quoting a post I saw that gave me psychic damage "as a very casual player of the games, i'm not really in the deltarune fandom, so i don't really have a personal stake in kris' gender or anything. but i do see a lot of transmisgyny around the topic online so i am going to complain.... several times now i've seen a blogger say something along the lines of "i think kris is transfem/a trans woman for x y and z reasons" only to be met with people saying "but kris is nonbinary" "god forbid nonbinary people have anything" "why do you hate nonbinary representation" because 1) trans women can be nonbinary. trans women can use they/them pronouns. this is just willful ignorance 2) EVEN IF someone is saying that they see kris as a binary trans woman or theorizing that that's the direction the story will take, nothing is wrong with that either 🤨 it really sounds like those people who say "we lost a lesbian 💔" when someone comes out as a trans man. plenty of trans women in real life used to identify as nonbinary before coming out as women, why should that be seen as a bad thing when it's in fiction?" And a reblog that said: "deltarune isnt ecen finished yet i hope kris starts taking estrogen and using she/her in chapter 5" Honestly all I have to say to these people is if you want a transfem nonbinary character so bad, just. They are technically right about a lot of their defenses regarding transfem Kris headcanons/theories.
transfems can be non-binary, transfems can use they/them pronouns
though there is a difference between being transfem and being a trans woman. Since to be transfem just means to transition towards femininity and applies to people of all genders, to be a trans woman does to an extent imply identifying within the binary
thus, there is actually a problem with people seeing Kris, a non-binary character, as a binary trans woman, because that is just erasure/misgendering. as we all should already know, erasure does do actual real harm to communities.
When it comes to theories, even if there was a very solid theory of Kris being transfem based purely on things found in game with no biases or projection, i still do not think it’s fair to use she/her for Kris when it’s not confirmed.
and i say “even if there was a very solid theory”, because to be completely honest, i’ve seen quite a few transfem Kris theories that misunderstand parts of the game or misattribute certain things to being transfem when it either also perfectly applies to non-binary people as well, or isn’t related to gender in the slightest.
And because I know it’ll be mentioned, Ralsei is different in my opinion. Theorizing him to be transfem and preemptively using she/her for Ralsei does not erase any pre-existing identity he has, as he is not implied to currently identify as anything other than a cis male as of right now.

Does anyone else hate the fact that they all supposedly know each other and are friends irl? I find that genuinely stupid, fanfictiony, and like it diminishes the point of the entire story. That all of these different people who didn’t know each other ended up in Digital Hell by happenstance, and they all learned to grow into becoming friends. Instead, they went the route of basically breaking its own lore by making it to where instead of them having in some way shape or form found the headsets, put it on, and accidentally ended up in the Circus, and instead it’s “Oh on the outside they all know each other, went to irl Zoob’s bar, celebrated, and had a night as friends described as a ‘night to remember’” is actually the dumbest fucking thing ever.
ESPECIALLY when you take into account how fucking Leeroy goddamn Mateo I guess, stays in the closet? And is living a happy goddamn life? Guess that’s the punishment for coming out as transfem, Jax.
