what is sandman: genesis?
I’m in college for comics and narrative design so naturally I have to have a story of my own or two to play around with in and out of the studio. genesis is my vision for a corinthian-focused spinoff that aims to expand upon his character and remedy the erasure of his homosexuality in the live action version of the sandman. I’ll be developing it while I work for my degree.
basic summary:
Due to the recent changing of the dream lord, a new dream vortex has the opportunity to grow and fester decades before its expected arrival. A nightmare previously stationed on Earth, namely, the Corinthian, is called off of his decade of freedom and used to locate the threat. His partner, the human Dr. Stephen Bennett, falls into a pattern of dreaming that quickly begins to affect the waking world. A child never meant to exist is conceived.
